5 Months Is All It Takes...

The next morning came (SUNDAY). Jenny came to the court hall at [9AM]. Jenny was sitting on the other side of court while Sang Ji Eun was on the other. Then the court meeting started.

Judge Nuelly : Everyone, rise !
(*Everyone rise including San Ji Eun and Jenny)
Judge Nuelly : We will first start with pledging the truth.
Judge Nuelly (*towards Sang Ji Eun) : Please, start pledging.
Sang Ji Eun (*reads from the book out loud) : I, Sang Ji Eun,
Sang Ji Eun : hear by speak the truth on my behalf of the story.
Judge Nuelly : thank you.
Judge Nuelly (*towards Jenny) : Jenny Lee, please.
Jenny : I, Jenny Yoojung Lee, hear by speak the truth on my behalf of the story.
Judge Nuelly : thank you.
Judge Nuelly (*to everyone) : lets all start.
(*Everyone sits back down)
Judge Nuelly : Mrs. Sang, your son had passed away in the car accident. Am i right ?
Sang Ji Eun : yes, thats correct.
Judge Nuelly : how did you find out that your son passed away ?
Sang Ji Eun : i got a call from Jenny from the hospital on the day of the accident.
Judge Nuelly : where were you during the accident ?
Sang Ji Eun : i was grocery shopping for the week.
Judge Nuelly : what did you look at Mrs. Lee as ?
Sang Ji Eun : i looked at her like my own daughter.
Sang Ji Eun : My son was about to marry her couple years ago, but it didn’t happen.
Judge Nuelly : im sure Mrs. Lee have a valid reason to why she didn’t marry your son.
Judge Nuelly (*to Jenny) : Mrs. Lee, tell us why that reason is.
Jenny : i had cold feet and at that time i thought i could find my first love in the city.
Jenny : i thought i would find him again and be together again with him but
Jenny : i didn’t get a chance to find him.
Jenny : So, me and Jay became a couple again and only that.
Judge Nuelly (*to Sang Ji Eun) : did you really look at Mrs. Lee as your own daughter ?
Sang Ji Eun : yes, your honor.
Jenny (*raises her voice to the judge & says) : Your honor.
Judge Nuelly : yes, Mrs. Lee.
Jenny : that is a lie.
Jenny : I did everything to make Mrs. Sang happy like i was really her daughter in a way
Jenny : but she did nothing that satisfied me in any way and
Jenny : that is why i couldn’t marry her son.
Jenny : not only that but she hurt me in so many ways
Jenny : that caused me pain leaving scars on my body.
Judge Nuelly : Can you show us the things she did to you ? the scars.
Jenny (*pulls down her shoulder sleeve & shows the big scratch marks)
Jenny (*pulls up her side stomach)
Judge Nuelly (*analyzes the scars & says) : Wow. that is something.
Judge Nuelly : Did anything else happen on the day of the accident Mrs. Lee ?
(*Jay appears next to the judge & watches Jenny speak from the podium)
Jenny (*looks over to Jay & continues talking)
Jenny : Jay was drunk when he came to my house to take me away to talk at the cafe.
Jenny : his mind was all over the place and tried to talk to me.
Jenny : thats why we got into an accident.
Jenny : Jay risked his life for me and i couldnt thank him more for that.
Jenny : if he was here, i would’ve done more for him.
Jenny : that is why i’m doing everything i can to get my life together and do as he asked.
Jenny : Im sorry Mrs. Sang if i did anything to hurt you in any way but i did it for your son
Jenny : who could’ve been here instead of me.
Judge Nuelly : thank you Mrs. Lee.
Judge Nuelly : with that said.
Judge Nuelly : Mrs. Sang Ji Eun is sent to jail for treason her dead sons actions.
Judge Nuelly : Crime. Abusing Mrs. Jenny Lee and Jay’s drunk driving causing death.
Judge Nuelly (*bang the gavel down & says) : Meeting adjourn.

The court meeting was over and Jenny was innocent. Sang Ji Eun was arrested and the guards led her to the police car to send her to jail right away. Jenny felt bad of what she did and she didnt want to do it but it was for the best. Jenny went to her car and saw Jay sitting in the passenger seat trying to talk to her about the court meeting.

Jenny : i know what your going to say and your right.
Jay : what was i going to say Jenny ? why am i right ?
Jenny : werent you going to yell at me for sending your mother to jail ?
Jay : No. Im glad you did.
Jenny : why ?
Jay : she deserved it for what she did to you.
Jay : I didnt know and im sorry i didnt realize it till now.
Jay : I know it was my mistake for the accident and being drunk that time, it was me.
Jay : this case was a right and wrong case, its take two.
Jenny : did you think i did the right choice ?
Jay : i think you did. i can see it in my mothers eyes that she was lying this whole time.
Jay : she wanted to win the case because of the money and keeping it for herself.
Jay : i was her only child and i thought i messed up badly being her son.
Jay : but isnt that what life is about ? messing up and picking up the pieces again ?
Jenny : but your not entirely here.
Jay : i know that. things were meant to be Jenny and you know that.
Jenny : i do. thanks. (*smiles)
Jay : go home and rest, thats what you need.

Yoojung came home and got the mail after a long day of school. Yoojung went upstairs to Mark’s room to put his mail in his room on his table. When she turned around, she saw a picture that looked familiar on his desk. She took a look at the picture carefully and recognized that it was her older sister in that picture hugging Mark. She went back into her room and went to find the exact picture she kept of her sister and compared it. It looked exactly the same and she was shocked to see why Mark knew her sister when they were young. Then Yoojung heard someone open the front door from downstairs and took her photo and hid it in her pocket and went to her room. She sat on the bed and stared into space not thinking about anything but the photo. Then she went downstairs and saw the mess and how the house was so messy. She was upset of how BamBam, Yugyeom, and Youngjae was being messy in their rooms and in the living room. She could tell each other’s things just by looking at it so she notices the three mess and yells at them for not being organized. She got so upset that Mark tried to calm her down but it didnt work. Besides, Yoojung told him that she was going to take a walk on the beach to get some fresh air and she told them that when she comes back, she better see a clean house.

Yoojung (*comes back home from school)
Yoojung (*sees the living room in a big mess)
Yoojung (*recognizes that it was BamBam, Yugyeom, and Youngjae’s things)
Yoojung (*calls out the members name out loud) : BamBam ! Yugyeom ! Youngjae !
(*BamBam, Yugyeom, Youngjae runs downstairs into the living room quickly)
Mark (*comes down after the three to see what happened)
BamBam : what happened Noona ?
Yoojung (*shows that she’s angry & says) : why is there mess here ?
Yoojung (*points all around the living room)
Yugyeom : how did you know that its ours ?
Yoojung : you admit it. if i remember correctly, your things arent hard to figure out.
Yoojung : i kept this house clean from the beginning when you all were here.
Yoojung : why cant you keep it clean ?
Youngjae : we’re sorry Yoojung.
Yoojung : im sick and tired of cleaning your mess up everytime this happens.
Yoojung : if you dont clean, im kicking you all out and no Halloween.
BamBam (*begs) : Oh come on noona !
Yugyeom : thats not fair !
Mark : relax Yoojung. it was an accident.
Mark : its their first time making a mess, give them a break.
Yoojung : and your not the same.
Mark : im always clean.
Mark : you’ve been stressed out Yoojung-ah. you need a break from everything.
Mark : you have the MCAT exam and final exam coming up, your just stressed out.
Mark : Just relax.
Yoojung : how can i relax when everything in this house is going wrong ?
Yoojung : huh ? you tell me.
Yoojung : you know what ?
Yoojung : im going to take a long walk on the beach and get things off my mind.
Yoojung : when i come back, i better see everything clean or else im done.
Yoojung (*to Mark) : your the older hyung around here, fix everything.

Yoojung left to take a walk on the beach. Mark was standing there in front of BamBam, Yugyeom, and Youngjae trying to confront them. Then Mark called down JB, Jackson, and Jr. for a little group meeting.

BamBam (*asks Mark) : what happens now Hyung ?
JB (*confused & asks Mark) : what happened ? Why are we here ?
Mark : Yoojung got mad earlier because of the mess that is in this house.
Mark : she’s going to kick us all out if we dont keep it clean.
Yugyeom : so what are we going to do ?
Mark : we are going to do a Spring Cleaning this afternoon/ evening.
Mark : we are cleaning the entire house until Yoojung gets back.
Youngjae (*shocked & asks) : this whole house ??!!??
Mark : Yes. if Yoojung can clean the whole house herself then we can do it too.
Mark : BamBam clean the living room. Yugyeom clean the kitchen.
Mark : Youngjae clean the bedrooms.
Mark : JB clean the practice room. Jackson and Jr. clean the backyard.
Mark : And i will clean the library.
Mark : clean everything and throw anything that needs to be thrown out.
Mark : we must finish by the time Yoojung gets back from her walk.
Jackson : who is going to cook dinner ?
Mark : Once we’re all done, we are going grocery shopping so hurry up.
Mark : we are going to help with dinner.
Jr. : what happened to Yoojung ?
Mark : she is stressed out lately and she had seen the mess in here (living room).
Mark : she got mad and she wants us to clean up the mess.
Mark : let’s just get cleaning before she comes back from her walk. Hurry !

While Jenny was on the beach, she took out the picture she had in her pocket and looked at it one more time. She still couldnt believe that her older sister knew Mark and Jenny wondered how they met when they were young. It's got Jenny thinking all night. It was [9PM] and Jenny came back to the house already. When she walked into the house, everything was clean and spotless. It was freshly new and dinner was served as well. The members were waiting for Jenny to get back and they were already there sitting at the table. During dinner time, BamBam spoke up and asked Jenny something and everyone was trying to keep BamBam away from asking bad questions.

BamBam (*to Yoojung) : how was your walk ?
(*The other members try to stop BamBam by throwing things at him)
Yoojung : im glad you asked BamBam.
(*The other members stopped & stared at Yoojung)
Yoojung : i thought about a lot of things while i was walking.
Yoojung : im sorry guys that i snapped earlier.
Yoojung : I am stressed out lately and exams are not helping at all.
Yugyeom : im glad you feel better noona.
Yoojung : thats why im going to take you guys out to eat deserts after this.
Youngjae : really ?
Yoojung : yes, really.
Jackson : YASS !

After dinner was over, everyone went to change their clothes while Jenny washed the dishes really fast and went upstairs to shower before heading out. Before heading to her bathroom, Jenny emptied out of her pockets and pulled out the photo again. She took a 10 second look and put it in her purse and headed to shower. Couple minutes later, the whole gang went outside into the city to walk around. Jenny showed the members where the desert place was and they went inside. Mark and Jenny stood outside to talk before going inside.
