5 Months Is All It Takes...

A month passed by and it was already [October]. Jenny was so busy with school and her intern job. She had to make up all the hours at work and it was exhausting for her but she pulled it all through. The week before Halloween on a [SATURDAY], Yoojung help Hyunwoo’s mother with the funeral schedule for Hyunwoo and attends the ceremony with all of his close friends and family. The funeral was from 10am till 2pm. Yoojung paid her respect for Hyunwoo with his mother there at the funeral home. After it ended, everyone had already went home. Yoojung went outside in front of the funeral building to think and get her thoughts out. Then Hyunwoo was there and talked to her friendly.

Hyunwoo : What are you thinking ?
Yoojung : nothing really. my mind is fill with confused thoughts.
Hyunwoo : thank you for attending my funeral and making it happen.
Yoojung : i wouldn’t miss it for the world.
Yoojung : i felt like today, i have lost so many people in my life.
Yoojung : i’ve already lost my parents, my younger and older sister. And now, i lost you.
Hyunwoo : i’m still here Yoojung-ah, its just that people can’t see me besides you.
Yoojung : I'm sorry.
Yoojung : i don’t know how many times i’m going to apologize for what happened.
Yoojung : i love you as much as i love Mark and everyone else around me.
Yoojung : i didn’t want this to happen.
Hyunwoo : im fine Yoojung-ah. everything happens for a reason, doesn’t it ?
Yoojung : things like this doesn’t just happen. we actually fought about it Hyunwoo-ah.
Hyunwoo : i know. it was a sign that this happened.
Yoojung : what sign would that be ?
Hyunwoo : a good one, you’ll see.
Hyunwoo : i don’t want you to get all caught up about this.
Hyunwoo : go home and rest, you must tired.
Yoojung (*nods her head)

After going home from the funeral, Yoojung went to her room and sat there on her bed just thinking for a little bit. Then she changed into a t-shirt and skinny jeans to head downstairs. She went into the kitchen to get a cup but didn’t see any on the rack on the counter so she headed to the glass cabinet to get one. The cup was all the way up on top that she couldn’t reach so she grabbed a chair and got on it to get it. When she was reaching up there, she wiggled her fingers to try to get it down. When she did touch it, the cup fell down on the ground hitting her face a little leaving a mark on her face with little blood. The cup fell to the ground leaving a huge sound. Then Yoojung looked down to see that the cup was already broken and said to herself that it was her favorite cup. Mark then ran downstairs (Yoojung doesn’t know that Mark was home) to the sound of glass breaking towards Yoojung and asked her what happened.

Mark : what happened Jen ?
Yoojung (*comes down from the chair & says trying to clean up the mess) : Dont move.
Mark (*freezes at his spot couple inches away)
Yoojung (*cleans up the mess & throws it to the trash)
Yoojung (*then looks up to Mark)
Mark (*notices Jen’s scar on her face & says) : Oh !
Mark : You have a scar on your face and its bleeding.
Yoojung (*confused & touched her scar with her fingers)
Yoojung : it is. it didn’t hurt at all.
Mark : let me cure it, sit down.
Yoojung : i'm fine Mark, there’s no need for that.

Mark grabs Yoojung’s arm and pulls her to sit on the chair at the dinner table. Then he went to get the first aid kit. He came over to Yoojung and put a bandage on it. After being done, Mark patted Yoojung’s head and smiles. Then Yoojung went back into the kitchen to take down the cups and asking Mark to help her.

Yoojung : Can you help me get down the cups ?
Mark : sure.
Mark (*gets all the cups down & passing it Yoojung to put away in the lower cabinets)
Yoojung : I didn’t know that you were home.
Mark : i had homework to do.
Yoojung : where did the others go ?
Mark : JB, Jackson, Jr., Youngjae went to the beach to hang out.
Mark : BamBam and Yugyeom went shopping around town.
Yoojung : Ahhh, i see.
Mark : How was Hyunwoo’s funeral ?
Yoojung : it went well. it was a little hard holding it all in and not crying.
Mark : i am sorry about Hyunwoo.
Mark : i thought it was my fault that this happened, because im here.
Yoojung : its not your fault.
Yoojung : things happen for a reason and i didn't think that this will happen.
Yoojung : the hard part in life is when you lose somebody you are close with.
Yoojung : i lost Hyunwoo because of one argument that risked one of our lives.
Yoojung : i never thought it would turn out this way.
Mark : i know how close his was to you and i have to thank him for that.
Yoojung : why ?
Mark : he was my replacement when i was gone and you were here by yourself.
Mark : he took care of you when i couldnt. i felt like he did it for me.
Yoojung : he’s a good person.
Mark : he is.

Yoojung got interrupted by her cellphone. She picked up and answered it.

Jenny (*answers her phone) : Hello ?
Judge Nuelly : Hi, am i speaking to Jenny Lee ?
Jenny : yes, this is she.
Judge Nuelly : Im Judge Nuelly from the Attorney office and
Judge Nuelly : we had read over your file on the accident
Judge Nuelly : that happened last week.
Jenny : Yes, but i didnt send in a file for a lawsuit on anything.
Judge Nuelly : we know you didnt but in this case, you are guilty of what happened.
Judge Nuelly : am i right ?
Jenny : nothing really happened, it was just an argument.
Judge Nuelly : but there must be more to the story and also,
Judge Nuelly : we know about Sang Ji Eun and what she did to you.
Judge Nuelly : the Doctors had reported to us that Mrs. Sang had abused you during
Judge Nuelly : the relationship of you and Jay.
Judge Nuelly : Am i correct ?
Jenny : I shouldnt say. i dont want anyone to go court and anything.
Jenny : Especially if its Mrs. Sang,
Jenny : she is having a hard time with the fact that she just lost her son.
Jenny : please, don't make it hard on anyone else.
Judge Nuelly : Mrs. Sang had already agreed to go to court and
Judge Nuelly : prove that she guilty which she is not.
Judge Nuelly : it would be nice if you be there to prove your innocent instead her.
Jenny : Yes, i understand.
Judge Nuelly : please meet us tomorrow at 5pm at the courthouse, we’ll see you there.
Jenny : thank you.

After hanging up, Jenny went straight to cooking dinner. During dinner time, Jenny told the guys, Caroline, and Peter about the court meeting with Mrs. Sang tomorrow.

Jenny : just to let you know, im going to court tomorrow.
Peter : for what ?
Jenny : its about the accident. im being forced to tell my story to everyone in court.
Jenny : Sang Ji Eun is going to be there and
Jenny : the Judge wants me to prove that i'm innocent.
Caroline : you have to tell them about what Sang Ji Eun did to you, how she hurt you.
Jenny : i know but im afraid that im hurting her by telling the truth.
Jenny : i don't want it to be this way.
BamBam : noona, its the only way that you can prove to them that your not lying.
Yugyeom : your story is the truth.
Jenny : i know. at the same time, i dont want her to go to jail.
Jenny : she was my exboyfriends mother after all.
Youngjae : WAS, not anymore.
Jr. : if a person hurts you then their nothing to you.
Jenny : you know what ?
Jenny : its going to be okay and im going to tell my story, the truth. (*smiles)

Everything was okay after speaking with the gang.
