5 Months Is All It Takes...

Jenny : Mark ?
Mark (*looks at Jenny & says) : yeah ?
Jenny : Do you happen to know my unnie ?
Mark : your unnie ?
Jenny : Jane.
Mark (*becomes silent)
Jenny (*pulls out the picture from her purse & shows him)
Jenny (*asks) : Does this ring a bell to you ?
Mark : where did you get that ?
Jenny (*looks at Mark & says) : you do know her. How ?
Mark : let me ask you again. where did you get that ?
Jenny : dont worry. i didnt steal yours.
Jenny : i left mail on your desk in your room and i ran pass this photo.
Jenny : I did recognized it until i got my photo and compared it. it looked the same.
Jenny : so tell me, how do you know my unnie ?
Mark : we were friends before she introduced me to you when we were kids.
Mark : we were neighborhood buddies, we were unseperatable.
Jenny : and what happened ?
Mark : she went to study abroad and after that, i never saw her again.
Jenny : she left us to study in Japan when she was only 10 years old.
Mark : she told me that she had a younger sister who was the middle child, you.
Mark : and she told me to look after you if anything happens.
Mark : so i watched you come home from school and volleyball practice.
Mark : and thats when we became friends.
Jenny : it had to be Jane Mark ?
Mark : what ?
Jenny : she was always the older one out of the three of us.
Jenny : she did everything she wanted and my parents actually agreed with her.
Jenny : I dreaded everyday of asking her for a favor
Jenny : because she would never return one back to me no matter what.
Jenny : Me and Julie hated that the most about Jane.
Jenny : thats why we lost contact when we were growing up.
Jenny : it all explains it now.
Mark : Jenny. i thought Jane was going to be here but she left.
Mark : your here and im proud of that.

Jenny steps back one step and walks the other way across the street light. Mark called out her name so many times but Jenny didnt listen. The other members heard too and came outside to see what happened. And when Jenny was about to get hit by a car, Mark ran to her and pulled her hugging her on the other side of the street. The other members saw and was relief that everyone was safe. While Mark was hugging Jenny, she shed a tear and he talked to her holding her tightly.

Mark (*says while holding her) : Dont ever do that again. You scared me.
Jenny (*sheds a tear & says) : you shouldve just let me die.
Mark (*lets go & cups Jenny's face)
Mark (*says) : i would not do that to you, you are my girl.
Jenny : you lied to me about Jane.
Mark : i admit it, i did lie to you and Im truly sorry.
Mark : you made the other members worried.
Jenny (*peeks at the other members & smiles)
Mark : lets go, huh ?
Jenny (*shakes her head)

Mark and Jenny held hand in hand and walked together back to the cafe desert place. The other members were back inside and enjoying the food.
