5 Months Is All It Takes...

After dinner, all of the members went to clean up the dinner table and washed up. Everyone else went upstairs when Caroline was downstairs washing the dishes for Jenny. Then Jackson came back from throwing the trash outside and came to talk to Caroline who was there. While the two was talking, Jenny was on her way to talk to Caroline and stood back and overheard the two talk.

Caroline (*stops washing the dishes)
Caroline (*thought about her life when she was like in Hong Kong)
Jackson (*comes back & stood in the back watching Caroline wash the dishes)
Jackson (*speaks up & says) : what are you thinking about ?
Caroline (*snaps out of it after hearing Jackson & continues washing the dishes)
Caroline : nothing much.
(*Jenny overhears & stands back to listen)
Jackson : Does Hong Kong ring a bell to you ?
Caroline : i know what your thinking Jackson.
Jackson : what am i thinking Caroline ?
Caroline : nevermind. it doesnt matter anymore, none of it should.
Jackson : You recognized me the other day.
Caroline : and what if i did ? would it change anything ?
Jackson : Do you know what it feels like to wait for someone you care about ?
Jackson : i waited forever for you and you didnt come back.
Jackson : and you left without telling me anything. no calls, message, nothing.
Caroline : I had a valid reason.
Jackson : what was it then ?
Caroline (*finishes the dishes & turns around to Jackson)
Caroline : my aunt called me from the US.
Caroline : she said that my parents both passed away in a car accident back home.
Caroline : So i went back to LA as soon as possible to see them but it was too late.
Jackson : im so sorry, i didnt know. what happened to them ?
Caroline : a huge truck hit them.
Caroline : my heart fell out when i was in the hospital looking at my parents there.
Caroline : i lost them Jackson. i didnt know what to do.
Jackson : is that why you became a doctor ? because of them ?
Caroline : yeah, that's basically why.
Caroline : i wanted to come back to Hong Kong and see you at least.
Caroline : but i was dealing with so much pain of losing my parents, my close ones.
Jackson : i couldn't blame you if i knew what happened.
Caroline : I had no intentions of leaving you there in Hong Kong.
Caroline : you were the best thing that happened when i was studying there.
Jackson : same here. Can we start over Yoon Soo ?
Caroline : sure Jackson. (*smiles)

Then Jenny walked into the kitchen after hearing Caroline and Jackson talk.

Jenny (*walks in & says) : So you two made up right ?
Jackson (*to Jenny) : you knew noona ?
Caroline (*to Jackson) : i told Jenny and Peter.
Caroline : i think you can see that we're best friends.
Jackson : i can see that now.
Jenny : sorry Jackson.
Jackson : its fine.
Jackson (*to Jenny & Caroline) : so what are we doing tonight ?
Jenny & Caroline (*looks at each other at the same time & smiles)
Jackson (*looks at Jenny & Caroline confused & asks) : what ?
Caroline : tonight is gonna be movie night.
Jackson (*excited) : YES !
Jenny : im going to buy some snacks at the store, i'll be back.
Caroline : im going to get the movie.
Jackson : i'll go get the guys into the living room.

It was [8PM]. The guys were already in the living room all washed up and clean ready to watch the movie. Caroline came back just in time and Jenny was at the cashier paying for the snacks when Mark texted her wondering what took her so long.

Text.
Mark : where are you ?
Jenny : im paying right now.
Mark : how long will that take ?
Jenny : i'll be home in 15.
Mark : alright.
Jenny : get the bowls out so we could put snacks in it.
Mark : got it. i'll see you later Yoojung-ah.
Jenny : see ya. (*smiles after sending that text)

Jenny got back to paying the cashier and headed home. She took the bag of snacks inside and put them into bowls to bring to the members to eat. Of course, Caroline and Peter were there to join in the fun of movie night. Everyone was watching the movie until the middle came. Everyone was focused on watching the movie and Jenny took a break from looking at the TV and looked upstairs. She saw Jay standing there and Jenny stood up to go to him. Jenny told Mark that she was going upstairs to get something and so she went up to her room to talk to Jay.

Jenny (*goes into her room & closes the door from behind)
Jay : Was i interrupting something important ?
Jenny : it was just a movie. whats up ?
Jay : i wanted to see if you were alright.
Jenny (*confused looking & says) : alright ? what are you saying ?
Jay : isnt that why you have movie night ?
Jenny : i still dont get it Hyunwoo.
Jay : Every time you have movie night, its either your stressed out or
Jay : something is bothering you.
Jenny : i am stressed out lately but i try not to be.
Jay : is there anything i can do to help ?
Jenny (*shakes her head & says) : im not sure.
Jenny : you probably cant help me anyways.
Jay : sure i can. not physically but mentally.
Jenny : how ? are you crazy ?
Jay : absolutely not. (*smiles)
Jenny : i'll tell you when i need help, not now though.
Jay : alright.
Jenny : Ah, about your funeral.
Jay : what about it ?
Jenny : i was thinking of doing it this weekend.
Jay : any day is fine with me. did you ask my mother ?
Jenny : not yet. i was thinking of talking to her tomorrow or so.
Jay : but you have school.
Jenny : i know, after i get off of school of course.
Jay : be careful when you talk to her.
Jay : you know that she is always so mean when she talks.
Jenny : yeah, i get that a lot from her. I dont know whats wrong, what i did to her.
Jay : im sorry on her behalf Jen.
Jenny : no, i get it. she hates me, i know.
Jay : stop thinking of it like that.
Jenny : i know, sorry.
Jay : just talk to her, okay ? be nice to her and who knows, she might be nice back.
Jenny : huh. your funny.
Jay : good luck Jen. (*smiles)
Jenny (*smiles)

After talking to Jay upstairs, Jenny came downstairs to see everyone awake from their nap in the movie. It was already late and everyone had went upstairs to sleep already. Jenny was in the kitchen making a cup of tea when Caroline and Peter came and talked to Jenny when she was standing there.

Caroline & Peter (*walks into the kitchen to Jenny together)
Jenny (*drinks her tea & asks) : are you guys staying for the night ?
Caroline : Can we ?
Peter : we cant bother you with that and besides, we dont have our jammies.
Jenny (*smiles & says) : you two can borrow mine.
Peter (*jokes around & says) : yours ? do you really think i will fit your body ?
Jenny (*to Peter) : Caroline can borrow mine and you can borrow Mark's.
Jenny : i'll go ask him.
Caroline (*excited & says) : thanks !

Jenny put her cup of tea in the sink and led the way to her room. She got a pair of pajama's for Caroline and Caroline went to her room to sleep. Then Jenny led Peter to Mark's room to ask for him.

Jenny (*knocks on Mark's door)
Mark : come in !
Jenny (*opens the door & walks in with Peter)
Mark (*looks at Jenny & says) : oh hey.
Jenny : is it okay if Peter borrow a pair of your jammies ?
Mark (*laughs)
Jenny (*smiles & says) : whats so funny ?
Mark : you said jammies.
Jenny : whats wrong with saying jammies ?
Mark (*continues laughing)
Jenny (*smacks Mark's stomach on the back of her hand & says) : its not funny.
Mark (*holds back his laughter & says) : im kidding.
Jenny : right. just let Peter borrow your pajamas would you ?
Mark : alright.

Mark went to get the pajama's while Jenny and Peter was standing there looking at him get it. Then Peter started to whisper something in Jenny's ear cause he was standing behind her.

Peter (*whispers to Jenny) : He has the hots for you, i see.
Jenny (*hears Peter & says) : no he doesnt, stop it.
Peter (*whispers to Jenny) : he so does. i see why you love him so much.
Peter (*whispers to Jenny) : i gotta say, he is good looking.
Jenny (*turns around & whispers to Peter) : Are you going gay for him ?
Peter (*whispers to Jenny) : right, no way. I'll back off since he is all yours.
Peter (*whispers to Jenny) : Im straight, remember ?
Peter (*whispers to Jenny) : anyways. Jenny and Mark sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
Jenny (*smacks Peter's stomach on the back of her hand & says) : quit that.
Mark (*spoke up & says) : alright.
Jenny & Peter (*focused back to Mark right away)
Mark (*gives Peter the pajama's & says) : here you go man.
Peter (*takes it & says) : thanks.
Jenny (*to Mark) : thank you.
Mark : Jammies. (*smiles)
Jenny (*to Mark) : its not THAT funny. (*smiles)

Then Jenny and Peter walked out of the room. While walking to Peter's room that he was staying in, he kept on teasing Jenny about Mark.

Peter : Mark definately has the hots for you.
Jenny (*in denial) : no he doesnt.
Peter : it's not a bad thing Jen.
Jenny : and why is that ?
Peter : you love him, dont you ?
Jenny : why does that all matter anymore ?
Peter : you know. while he is here, you might want to make it the best time ever.
Peter : he's gonna leave soon and if you dont spend time with him
Peter : then you will have no memories of him whatsoever.
Jenny : did Caroline tell you to say this to me ?
Peter : No. From my perspective, i think you should be with Mark in the this life time.
Peter : you might lose him again if you dont do something.
Peter : we just want you to be happy.
Peter : its good if you stay with him before he actually leaves.
Jenny : why is everyone telling me to be happy ? i am happy.
Peter (*stops & faces Jenny asking) : are you really ?
Jenny (*stops & says) : i have everything i could ever wish for so i am happy.
Peter : are you sure about that ?
Jenny : im not quite sure but its about right.
Peter : think about it and get back to me on that.

Peter goes into his room and washed up. Jenny stood there in front of his room and just thought about how she felt like she was happy but apparently, she wasnt. When everyone was asleep, Jenny went up to the rooftop of her room to sit and think about what Peter had said. When she was sitting there, she could see the beach widely and beautifully with a slight of stars in the sky. She took deep breathes and Jay came beside her to talk to her.

Jay : i knew i find you here.
Jenny : how did you know ?
Jay : lucky guess.
Jenny : can i ask you something ?
Jay : what is it ?
Jenny : why is everyone wanting the same for me ?
Jay : wanting what exactly ?
Jenny : wanting me to be happy.
Jay : they care for you especially Caroline and Peter.
Jay : is it wrong that i want the same for you too ?
Jenny : do i really have to be happy for them ?
Jay : its your choice but it is the right thing to do in your life.
Jenny : to be honest, i have never felt this happy in such a long time.
Jenny : i feel great having GOT7, Caroline, and Peter in my life.
Jenny : sometimes, i wish that i had my parents around before the accident.
Jay : if you are happy then i wont hold anything against you Jen.
Jenny : thanks Jay.
Jay : you should get to bed, its late.
Jay : You have school tomorrow and you don't want to be late on your day back.

Jenny stood up and went back inside of her room. She went back downstairs to turn off all of the lights and headed back upstairs.
