Your POV
Me and my best friend, Annabel are planning to go to the city today. We would probably so to some shops, buy some clothes for the summer dance in few weeks. Seriously, the summer dance has some of the hottest guys walk through the doors. Partly, because all the guys are wearing more fashionable clothing than the winter dance like seriously, woolly jumpers and long tracksuit pants don’t fit ANY guy.
After all the shopping, he planned to go to a new Korean Restaurant in the city. So here we are, two besties, sitting at a window table, studying the menu and struggling to read all the names of the Korean dishes.
“Is it Bibimudapt…” Annabel asks.
“Sorry, I don’t know how to pronounce it either” I say laughing.
Annabel joins in with the laughing and her eyes glance around the restaurant. She suddenly stops laughing and beckons me closer while she leans in.
"Hawtie Waiter Alert!" she whispers.
At the corner of my eye, I see a guy, dresses in the red restaurant uniform whipping down some tables. He looks strangely familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it. He glances up and we look at each other for a few seconds and I pull my glance away from his soft brown kind-looking eyes.
"Oooo.....I think he likes you, he keeps on glancing over at you." Annabel teases.
"Do you think so?" I ask her.
"Absolutely, hey...let's order!" she says with a devilish smile growing on her lips and sways her hand in the air to catch the attention of him. He makes his way over and takes out a small notepad and pen.
"Hi, we'd like to order.." Annabel says to him.
"Sure...what would you like?" he says in a sexy voice.
I look at his name badge attached to his red uniform.
His name is Jin...
"__________?? __________?? Are you going to order??" Annabel says.
"Oh right..." I say embarrassed.
I order the restaurant's special and he writes it down in his notepad
"Is that all you would like to order?" he says to us.
"Yep..." we both say at once. He smiles at me, winks and walks into the restaurant kitchen.
"OMG!!! Annabel!!! He is so hot!!!!" I say to Annabel.
"I know right, but I'll let you have him, because it's obvious that he likes you."
"Really? Do you like so??" I say
"Yes, believe it!!" she says, laughing.
Once I got home from the day with Annabel. I instantly jumped on my bed, loving the way it bounced. Then it finally hits me, Jin was the most popular guy in school! I had seen him around school sometimes but we had never talked or met in person until that moment. All the girls in the school liked him. He was the hottest guy, always had good grades and was just plain gorgeous! But why would he ever look at me? I'm just a normal girl....
Evening of the Summer Dance
I wore a dress which I had got from a new boutique store in town. I walk into the Crown ballroom which the school had hired out for the last dance of the year. Once I walked in the ballroom, I could hear gasps and whispers. Guys around were pushing each other towards me. Girls would gasp, look at me dress and smile, others would give me a thumbs up. I walked past a group of good looking guys who cat called. I went over to Annabel who was talking to a guy dressed very formally for a spring dance.
"Hey!!!" I say.
"Ohhh.....nice dress ______!!" She says.
"Thank-you!!!" I say.
She sighs, "You're going to go home from the dance, happy tonight".
"What are you talking about?" I say, laughing.
"You'll find out sooner or later" she says with the same devilish smile on her face.
Soft squishy music blares through the speakers and couples rush onto the dance floor.
After a few minutes of the soft cheesy music, the music suddenly stops midway and couples look around the room, confused.
The spotlight appears on the stage and Jin walks on. All the girls scream, including the ones that have dates and a boyfriend.
He walks up to the microphone, "I have something to say to someone..." he says and all the girls put their hand sup hoping they would be the one.
"________? Where are you???" Jin says.
What!!!! Me?!?!?!?!?
Everyone turns around to look at me and Annabel pushes to and makes me walk forward to the stage.
Jin smiles at me and hands me a rose. He crouches down on the stage right in front of me.

He looks into my eyes and puts one hand on my shoulder. All the girls squeal and the guys, boo.
"What are you doing, Jin???" I ask him
"I have something to tell you." he says.
"Yeah....." I say, confused.
"Wait.....first I need to do something..." he says, quietly
He leans in and kisses me softly.......
When he pulls away, I see him staring at my eyes.
"What was that?" I say, shocked.
"A kiss" he says, shyly
"Why did you kiss me?" I ask him.
"Boy, you do love to ask questions, don't you?" he says laughing.
"It's just because I'm curious!" I say, annoyed.
"Hey, stop avoiding my question!!" I say, laughing
He doesn't say anything but just continues to look into my eyes.
After a few minutes of staring at each other, he finally speaks.
"You've fallen for me..." he says.
"What if I have?" I say, embarrassed.
"Then that's good..." he says.
"Why??" I ask.
"Because I like you......" he says, smiling at me.
"I know that I barely talk to you but please give me a chance, I always see you walking through the halls and I wonder if you'll ever be mine" he says, softly. "Just give one day, just one day, and I'll show you that I really could be the one for you. Just one day, that's all I'm asking of you..."
"Okay.." I say smiling and the crowd of students cheer!!
