"Okay students, quieten down!" my favourite teacher, Miss Kay yells. Even though she said that, the class kept on acting like a bunch of wild animals that escaped from the local zoo. Miss Kay shakes her head, "I guess nobody wants to know about the carnival coming up?" she says, ad everyone instantly stops talking. Miss Kay smiles, "We will be having a Spring Carnival in a few weeks, and the principal has requested that all the students in pairs create a stand or anything you want for the carnival".
"Yes! This is going to be awesome!" I yell to my best friend, Jungkook form BTS. We highfive and the bell rings signalling the end of the school day.
"Wanna come over to my place to plan what we're going to do for the carnival?" Jungkook asks.
"Sure, let's go!" I say.

I launched myself onto his bed, loving the way it bounced. We've been best friends since we we're born. Our moms both knew each other from college and I only lived a ten-minute walk away now. We might as well have been twins: freakishly, we were born on the same day. He turns up, just at that moment, holding two opened bottles of iced tea.
"We need to decide what we are doing for the carnival" I say.
"Yeh..how...about....a...haunted house?" Jungkook suggests.
"It's Spring, Jungkook, not Halloween".
"Yeh...so??" he says
"No. No haunted house" I say.
"Fine.." he grumbles, "Then what do you suggest?"
I shrug, google ideas for a spring carnival stall and me and Jungkook look through then together.
I stopped, something catching my eye just as Jungkook started to say, "Hold Up!"
We both stared at the screen for a few seconds; the he stood up and I turned to face him, identical smiles stretching over our faces.
"Kissing Booth!!" we both say at the same time, grinning.

"We need to get some jocks in on it, and the cheerleaders. We need four and they can run shifts" I say.
"Yep, I'll get the jocks, you get the cheerleaders", Jungkook says.
We stay silent for a few minutes, texting possible kissers for the booth.
"All sorted!" we say at the same time. I laugh. "I gotta go, Jungkook, see ya tomorrow at school!" I say.
"See you!" he yells at my back as I rush out of his room.

When I get to school the next morning, a bunch of girls come running up to me squealing.
"OMG, _________!!! I heard you and Jungkook are running a kissing booth!" one of the girls says.
"Yeh..." I say, a little taken aback by the amount of squealing that was going on.
"Is V gonna be one of the kissers???" they all say at once. "Because if he is, all the girls would pay for a kiss!"
"I dunno.." I reply.
"Have you asked him?" one of them asks.
"No...."
"Then ask him, it won't hurt to ask him.." they all say.
"Fine...." I say and walk off to find V. V, the most popular guy in the whole school, all the girls wanted to date him and he dated quite a lot already, but despite all the dating, he was still a top A student.
I see him across the hallway, leaning against a bunch of locker, texting.
"Hey, V!" I say.
"Hey, _____" he says, smiling.
"So.....I was wondering.......um.....do you wanna be one of the kissers at me and Jungkook's kissing booth?" I say, shyly.
"Why?" he asks.
"Because all the girls in the school want you to be one of the kissers" I say.
"Wait.....do you want me to be one of the kissers?" he asks, with a sexy smirk on his face.
"Um.....no?? It's just the other girls..." I say, shrugging, but in the inside, I really want him to be one of the kissers.
"Sorry, but no..." he says, turns around and walks away.

The day of the Spring Carnival
---
I was sitting at the back of the booth, talking to Jungkook as the booth was running.
All of a sudden, Mimi, one of the kissers ran from the front of the kissing booth to the back.
"I can't do it...." she says to me.
"It might be her ex or something. Go and do the one kiss" Jungkook says and pushes me to the front.
I peek to see who was the guy I was going to kiss and it was none other than V.
I turn around to Mimi, "Go on...." she says, smiling.
What! He's V! All the girls in the school would do anything to kiss V and Mimi was giving her chance to me?
I sit down on the chair facing V, who's looking at me, with his trademark sexy smirk.
And then it happened, he leaned in and kissed me. It was the most amazing kiss, I had ever experienced. His lips were soft and just seemed to melt into me. I pull away gently and he leans his forehead against mine.
"From the way you kissed me, I don't think this is a one-sided love" he says.
"What!?!?!?! One-sided love?!?!?!" I exclaim.
"Yeh....I've been meaning to tell you, but there just wasn't the perfect moment to do so, but here it is" he says, giving me an adorable eye smile.
"So.....will you go out with me??" he says
"Hmm...it depends because there are obviously going to be a heap of girls that are gonna wanna rip all my hair out if I date you.." I say, smiling.
"I'll protect you from those hair-ripping girls, then" he says, laughing.
"Okay, then" I say.
He leans in again but then stops just as he's about to kiss me again, "Just remember that I only have eyes for you" he says.
I smile.
