This Is My Life...

The next morning [Wednesday], Annie had woken up to get ready for school. She was in her room packing up dance clothes for school in her backpack. Then came out to the kitchen to eat something light before heading to school. She was actually early and still felt sad of what Kevin had said to her last night. As she walked to the kitchen, she saw a note on the fridge from Kevin saying, "I went to work already. I didnt want to wake you. And im sorry about last night. We will talk about it when i get back from work." - Kevin. Annie put the note back on the fridge and walked out of her house to walk to school. She didnt want to walk with Mark today so she woke up early to walk by herself. On the way to school, she passed by Lady Song's restaurant and saw her before going to school. Annie just waved when she saw Lady Song and continued walking to school. When she got to school, she head straight to her locker to get her books before going to class. Then Mina came next to Annie because her locker was right next to Annie's. Annie saw that Mina was crying and asked what was wrong.

Annie (*looks in her locker & sees Mina next to her)
Annie (*realizes that Mina has been crying & asks) : Mina, whats wrong ?
Mina (*wipes away her tears & says) : Nothing.
Annie : were you crying ? what happened ?
Mina : Jin broke up with me this morning.
Annie (*shocked) : your boyfriend ? i thought you two were so happy together ?
Mina : we were.
Annie : why did he broke up with you ?
Mina : He is debuting already and he said that its difficult for us to date.
Mina : his company is against us.
Annie : but you have the right to love anyone you want.
Annie : you two deserve to be together.
Mina : i guess it wasnt meant to be.
BamBam & Yugyeom (*comes towards Annie & Mina)
BamBam (*to Annie) : Hi, noona.
Annie (*waves at BamBam) : Hey.
Yugyeom (*sees Mina crying & asks her) : Jieun, what happened ?
Mina (*to Yugyeom) : i dont want to talk about it.

When Mina heard Yugyeom ask her that, she ran off and he ran after her to see if she was hurt or anything. Then Mark came over to Annie to talk to her since he thought she was mad at him for what he said to her last night. They stood there to talk with BamBam.

BamBam : How are you noona ?
Annie (*organizing her locker nicely & says) : im good and can you not call me noona ?
BamBam : what am i suppose to call you ? i like noona better.
Annie : Annie or Yejin is fine. Noona makes me sound really old and im not that old.
BamBam : alright.
BamBam : i heard from Mark hyung that you are going to be joining us in the showcase.
Annie : i decided to. why ? you dont want me to ?
BamBam : of course we do, we all did.
Mark (*comes towards Annie & BamBam)
BamBam (*sees Mark coming & says) : i'll leave you two alone to talk.
BamBam (*leaves the two)

Mark (*calls out Annie's name) : Annie.
Mark : i thought i told you to wait for me so we could go to school together.
Annie (*ignores him)
Mark : are you listening to me ?
(*Bell Rings)
Annie (*takes out her books & tells Mark) : we have class to get to Mark.

Annie walked away to class, she didnt want to talk to him so she just walked it off. At the same time, Yugyeom chased Mina out of the building so they could talk.

Yugyeom (*chases after Mina & pulls her arm back to her)
Mina (*stops from his embrace) : let go Yugi (his nickname from her).
Yugyeom : not until you tell me what happened. Did Jin do something to you ?
Mina : we broke up this morning.
Mina : he is debuting already and his company disapproves us.
Mina : we always fight but not to this point to break up.
Yugyeom : he hurt you, didnt he ?
Mina : No. i guess im better with someone else then.
Yugyeom : i want to worry about you Jieun.
Mina : what are you talking about ?
Yugyeom : i dont want to see you get hurt anymore,
Yugyeom : so im going to protect you from now on.
Mina : what about your age difference ?
Yugyeom : if you truly love someone, age shouldnt matter. (*smiles)
Mina (*smiles)
(*Bell Rings)

When the bell rang, everyone headed to their homeroom class. Mrs. Lee was teaching English to the class. Annie bent down to her backpack to get a pencil in her bag since there was no more lead in her pencil. When she was bending down, Mark grabbed Annie's phone underneath his desk and sent a text message to her. When Annie got back up, she started to write down the lecture that Mrs. Kim was teaching. Then Mark elbowed Annie's arm to signal her to check her phone. Annie took her phone from her desk cubby and pulled it out under her desk and read it. It said, "Im sorry Yejin-ah, please forgive me. i admit i was wrong of what said or did, will you forgive me? I will treat you to lunch or dinner if you want." After reading that, Annie just put her phone away in her desk cubby. After thinking about it, Annie pulled out her phone again and replied back to Mark (who was glancing over) and said, "i'll see you on the roof top during break." Mark just secretly smiled making Annie smile too. It was then [12PM] and it was break time. Annie went up to the rooftop to see Mark there. He was standing there handsomely and she walked over to him beside him.

Annie (*stands next to him & says) : you always keep word, dont you ?
Mark : i always do.
Mark : so what happened this morning ?
Annie : i didnt want to bother you so i came early to school.
Mark : did something happened last time after we talked ?
Annie : Kevin.
Mark : you fought with your brother ?
Annie : he said some cruel things that hurt me inside.
Annie : i didnt know that he was that kind of person, i thought he believed in me.
Mark : what did he say that was so cruel ?
Annie : he said that making and writing music will get me nowhere in life.
Annie : he doesnt believe in my dreams and that i cant do it.
Mark : what about sending you to KJIA ? i thought he wanted you to become an idol.
Annie : i thought so too. how can i do this when nobody believes in me ?
Mark : i believe in you and i think your talented. you will get somewhere, a good place.
Mark : i have faith in you and so does Kevin.
Mark : one day, he'll realized that you have an amazing talent and hobby.
Mark : he'll accept you.

After talking with each other, Mark and Annie went to the cafeteria where the guys were and eat together. Mina walked into the cafeteria worried and looking for the rest of the GOT7 members. Mina ran to their table and started to tell them that Yugyeom went missing and no one else had seen him on campus.

Mina (*runs into the cafeteria towards GOT7 & Annie panting)
Annie (*looks up & sees Mina & asks) : Mina, whats wrong ?
GOT7 (*looks up & also sees Mina)
Mina (*trying to catch her breath & says) : Yugyeom went missing.
Mina : I cant find him anywhere around school, no one else had seen him.
Annie : where can he be ?
Mina : i dont know.

Mark, Annie, Mina, and the rest of the GOT7 members went around the neighborhood to look for Yugyeom. They all went their separate ways to look for him. Mark looked all over the school again, Mina went to Lady Song's restaurant to look, the GOT7 members split up and looked all over neighborhood. Then Annie went to the bridge she was at last night to look for Yugyeom and saw him standing there. She came over to him and talked to him before going back to school.

Annie (*sees Yugyeom from afar)
Annie (*goes to stand next to him & joins him into looking out to the city)
Annie (*then says) : its nice here, isnt it ?
Yugyeom (*says without looking at Annie) : i like to come here sometimes.
Annie : me too.
Yugyeom : you just moved here, how did you know this place ?
Annie : i was feeling down the other day and i came here to think.
Annie : something must be bothering you.
Yugyeom : Mina.
Annie : what about her ?
Yugyeom : i want to be with her but i feel like Jin is coming back again.
Annie : from what it looks like, Jin is never coming back to Mina.
Yugyeom : how do you know that ?
Annie : from the way i look at Jin, it seems like he loves his job more than anything.
Annie : being an idol is important to him so he must move on.
Annie : if i was Jin, i wouldve told the company long ago that i love someone
Annie : and i cant let them go.
Annie : once you truly love someone, you'll come to a realization that their worth no price
Annie : or deal.
Annie : you love Mina ever since you were little, huh ?
Yugyeom : i always have. Even though she was older than me, i still love her.
Yugyeom : i remember when we were little kids, we would play hide and seek.
Yugyeom : i was the one who counted and Mina was the one who hide.
Yugyeom : she would always get lost whenever i went to find her.
Yugyeom : i got worried and got in trouble with her parents because i lost her.
Yugyeom : but she came home on time every time we played.
Yugyeom : she got me so worried that i got in trouble for her.
Yugyeom : i want to be there for her even when i cant.
Annie : no one is stopping you. you should protect her like you use to.
Yugyeom : you think she would want that from me ? protect her.
Annie : of course she would want it from you.
Annie : your her long life friend and soon to be boyfriend. she would be happy.
Yugyeom : thank you Yejin.
Annie : now can we get back to school and learn ?
Yugyeom (*nods his head) : Oh.

The bell had already rang from lunch. It was already [2PM] and everyone had already went into class to learn. Mrs. Kim was teaching and she looked up. She saw two empty seats, one next to BamBam and one next to Mark. Right when Mrs. Kim was about to ask BamBam and Mark, Yugyeom and Annie walked into the class. They stood there greeting Mrs. Kim with a bow and said sorry. Everyone was looking at them happily. Then Mrs. Kim questioned why they came back late.

Yugyeom & Yejin (*walks into the class)
Mrs. Kim (*looks at the both of them & asks) : why are you late to my class ?
Mrs. Kim : Do you know what time it is ?
Yugyeom & Yejin (*says at the same time & bows) : Im sorry.
Yejin (*lies to Mrs. Kim)
Yejin (*says) : I had family problems to take care of and Yugyeom followed me.
Yejin (*lies to Mrs. Kim) : he wanted to see if i was okay, thats all.
Yugyeom (*to Mrs. Kim while bow down) : Im sorry.
Mrs. Kim : Im going to let this slide this time, there is no next time.
Mrs. Kim : you understand ?
Yugyeom : yes !
Yejin : Yes !
Mrs. Kim : go take your seats.

Annie and Yugyeom went straight to their seats. They joined the class again and continued with the lecture. After History class, it was dance class. Everyone walked over to the locker rooms to change into their gear and head out into the gymnasium. In the locker rooms, Annie was finished changing into her sweat pants that she bought and then onto changing her shirt. When she lifted up her arms to put on her shirt, her side rib started to hurt even more. She notices that the pain is back and nobody saw besides Jia. When all the girls left out to the gym, it was only Jia and Annie left in there. Then Jia and Annie started to make their way out until Jia accidently bumped into Annie causing her to fall onto the ground. Jia just walked out on her own. Annie stood right back up in pain and walked out of the locker room holding her side. Jia joined the rest of the class while Annie made her way there. Mark saw her walk out holding her side and asked her if she was okay, she replied back that shes okay. Then dance class started and became over over the hour. Everyone had went back into the locker rooms to change and leave school. After that, Mark was waiting for her outside near the school's entrance and Annie walked out to see him. They walked together to Annie’s work. While walking to work, Mark was worried for Annie about what happened so he asked her.

Mark : Are you okay ?
Annie : yeah, im fine. why ?
Mark : you seem like you were in pain during dance class. did something happen ?
Annie : Jia pushed me in the locker rooms causing me to fall onto the ground.
Annie : my side rib started to hurt a little. its nothing, really.
Mark : are you sure ? we can go to the hospital to check it out.
Annie (*says immediately) : No. im fine, really.
Mark (*looks at Annie suspiciously) : is there something your hiding from me ?
Annie : something happened before i came here from the US.
Mark : what happened ?
Annie : Kevin owed so much debt from loan sharks and he never paid them back.
Annie : So 3 days before leaving to Korea, they came to our house.
Annie : i was home just 5 minutes before Kevin had came home.
Annie : the two loan sharks came to our house hurt me really badly that i bled to death.
Annie : my head, my arms, and legs were injured.
Annie : most importantly, my side rib was nearly broken.
Annie : after that, they left and leaved me hanging on the ground.
Annie : i couldnt get up and i was bleeding. So Kevin came home and found me there.
Annie : he took me straight to the hospital.
Annie : the doctors did everything they could to save me but
Annie : there was something they couldn't do for me.
Mark : what was that ?
Annie : a surgery for one side of my rib cage.
Annie : i couldn't afford it so we ended up not doing it.
Annie : and we moved here so we could forget what happened.
Annie : it was terrible, if you were there it wouldnt been really bad.
Mark : you should still see a doctor about this.
Annie : i cant afford it right now.
Mark : at least see a doctor. afford the money ? for what ?
Annie : for a surgery that i had to do before coming to Korea.
Mark : you ended up not doing the surgery because you didnt have enough money ?
Annie : Ohhh.

After talking with Mark, Annie went inside to work. Couple hours went by and it was [10PM]. Lady Song closed up the store while Annie headed home. When Annie walked out of the store, she turned to walk him but when she did, there were two guys who confronted her. She recognized who they were and it was the two loan sharks that she knew from America where she lived. They started to talk to her and hit her a little and then Mark came to take her home again.

Annie (*turns the corner & sees Daeho and Donghyun)
Daeho (*looks at Annie & says) : Someone looks surprised to see us again.
Annie (*stands there frozen & says) : how are you two here ?
Donghyun : we thought we find you here with Sunghyun.
Annie : what are you doing here ?
Daeho (*walks up to Annie & grabs her neck)
Daeho (*says in front of her) : i would love to kill you but i chose not to.
Annie (*bravely says while looking into Daeho's eyes) : Go ahead and kill me.
Annie : i would love to see that happen.
Daeho (*drops Annie on the ground)
Annie (*in pain while falling on the ground trying to get up but strength to)
Donghyun : give us the money you owe us or we shall kill your brother instead.
Donghyun : you wouldnt want that because you love him, right ?
Annie (*in a weak voice) : kill me instead and you can get everything you want,
Annie : just dont hurt him
Daeho (*bends down to Annie & slaps her across the face)
Annie (*in pain & a tear drops down her eye)
Donghyun : you know where to find us and when you do,
Donghyun : pay us back right away or else.
Daeho & Donghyun (*walks away in a flash)
Mark (*comes & sees Annie on the ground)

Mark (*sees Annie hurt & runs towards her to hold her)
Mark (*asks her) : what happened Annie ?
Annie (*couldnt speak & in pain)

Annie passed out after Mark came, she was in so much pain that she could felt the same pain before she came to Korea. Then Mark took Annie to the hospital to get her cured by the doctor. Annie was quickly taken to the emergency room to get cured by a doctor. She was then transferred to a regular room on the bottom floor. Mark went into the room to visit Annie where she was still unconscious. Then the Doctor came in to talk to him about her condition.
