This Is My Life...

[Still Monday Afternoon] Two hours later, it was [3PM]. Class had ended and everyone changed into their uniforms and went home. Annie stayed dressed in her dance clothes (leaving her school uniform in her backpack) and went to see Mrs. Lee to see what she had to do. Annie stayed after school in her homeroom class to clean up the mess on the floor and organized the bookshelf. It took Annie about an hour to clean up. After that, she just stood there and tried to do the move that Mrs. Kim taught in class earlier. As she was doing that, Annie got a phone call from Lady Song to go to work.

Yejin (*cellphone rings & picks it up) : Hello ?
Lady Song : Yejin-ah ?
Yejin : Yes ?
Lady Song : Are you coming to work today ?
Yejin : I am. I had to stay after class to help clean up, i will be there soon.
Lady Song (*suspicious) : did you get in trouble on your first day of school already ?
Yejin (*guilty) : no i didn't.
Lady Song : Okay, hurry up.
Yejin : Yes. i will be there right now.

Annie put her phone in her pocket and finished up cleaning up. Then she ran out the school towards the restaurant to work. While she was running out near the entrance of the school, Mark was standing there waiting for her. When she ran out, he saw her and pulled her wrist to stop her.

Annie (*runs out)
Mark (*pulls Annie's wrist)
Annie (*stops & says) : what ?
Mark : where are you going ? we were suppose to walk home together.
Annie : im sorry. i have to go to work now.
Mark : you didnt say anything about work.
Annie : i have to go, bye.

Annie continued walking fast to the restaurant to work and Mark followed her. When she got there, she went in and and greeted Lady Song. Annie was talking to Lady Song there and Mark followed Annie from behind and talked to Lady Song also who he knew for a while now.

Lady Song (*sees Annie walking into the place) : Yejin, your here.
Yejin : im sorry i was late. i said that i was cleaning up the classroom.
Lady Song (*sees Mark behind of Yejin)
Lady Song (*says to Mark) : Mark. you got Yejin in trouble, did you ?
Yejin (*turns around & sees Mark)
Mark : No.
Yejin (*to Lady Song) : i got in trouble for talking to him during the teacher lecture.
Yejin : so i had to stay behind and clean.
Yejin (*turns to Mark & says) : what are you doing here ?
Lady Song (*says to Mark) : yeah, what are you doing here ?
Yejin (*to Lady Song) : you two know each other ?
Mark : oh, we go way back. me and Got7 go here every week to eat.
Lady Song (*jokes around) : they are always here to cause me trouble.
Mark : but you love us.
Lady Song (*to Yejin) : you should get to work Yejin-ah.
Yejin : Ah, yes.

Annie went to put on her apron to start working. She came out and served the customers. Mark took a seat waiting for the rest of the Got7 members to come. Couple minutes later, the members walked through the door and took their seats at the same table as Mark. Lady Song then came over to their table and greeted each other.

Lady Song (*to Got7) : look at you all, you must be hungry.
Bambam (*talking in Aegyo to Lady Song) : im so hungry ajumma.
Lady Song (*to BamBam) : Ya ! So Cute !
Lady Song (*to Got7) : So, the usual menu right ?
JB : Yes.
Lady Song : alright.
Lady Song : Oh ! i almost forgot.
Lady Song : i want you all to meet someone whose going to be working here.
Lady Song (*yells Yejin's name) : Yejin-ah ! Come here, quick !
Yejin (*yells back from a far) : Yes !
Yejin (*walks towards Lady Song & the guys, recognizes them)
Lady Song (*introduces Yejin to the guys) : this is Lee Yejin.
Lady Song : she will be working here from now on.
Yejin (*introduces herself) : Hi, im Lee Yejin.
Jackson : Oh ! your Annie.
Yejin (*to the guys) : you guys are here ?
Jr. : so you work here now ?
Yejin : yes, i do. (*smiles)
Lady Song (*to the guys & Yejin) : you all know each other ?
Youngjae : we all have the same classes together at school.
Lady Song : thats wonderful ! you all can look after Yejin for me.
Yejin (*to Lady Song) : Lady Song. they dont need to.
Lady Song (*to Yejin) : im worried for you so let them look after you.
Lady Song (*to Yejin) : have Mina look after you too.
Yejin (*to Lady Song) : i met her earlier in class, she helped me get away from Jia.
Yugyeom : Jia ? Did she do something to you ? Did she hurt you ?
Yejin : she was being a little mean to me, thats all. its was nothing.
Yejin (*to everyone) : i better get back to work now, it was nice meeting you all again.
Yejin (*smiles & bows)

Annie went back to work and so did Lady Song. When Annie was taking orders and serving the other customers, Mark was sitting there with the Got7 members and kept on staring at Annie. Then JB said to Mark...

JB (*to Mark) : So, did you ask her to join us for the showcase ?
Mark : who ? Annie ?
JB : yeah, did you ask her ?
Mark : i'll ask her after she gets off work later.
Jackson : do you think she'll say yes ?
Mark : how should i know ?
Jackson : she can help us write our music, maybe help us for our first album.
Mark : she wrote a lot of music but its not finished yet, they were really good.
Jr. : maybe we can ask JYP to have Annie produce one of our songs.
Jr. : you think we should do that ?
Mark : isnt that using her ?
Youngjae : no, its not.
Youngjae : JYP cant always produce the music, we need to do it ourselves.
Youngjae : we need a muse for our next project.
Youngjae : we can do it too, having Annie is better since she has experience with music.
BamBam : noona will be happy to help us, i just know it.
BamBam : she is a good person after all.
Yugyeom : she will help us right ? i think so.

After eating together, Got7 had left to practice at the studio company. The studio company wasnt that far from the restaurant so their manager drove them all there. Before Got7 went to dance practice, JB went to talk to JYP about accepting Annie as their new producer.

JB (*comes into JYP's office) : Hello CEO.
JYP : Oh, JB. Did you want something ?
JB : Yes.
JYP : what is it ?
JB : for Got7's first full length album, we were wondering if someone else can produce it.
JYP : your debut ?
JB : Yes.
JYP : who do you have in mind ?
JB : a new friend from school. Her name is Lee Yejin, Annie.
JYP : and she can produce music really well ? professionally ?
JB : Yes. She can write songs, play piano, dance, and sing.
JB : well, im not sure about the singing part.
JB : we have seen her music sheets and they are great but they arent finished yet.
JYP : she seems like she has a lot of potential talent.
JYP : you guys have never come to me for anything,
JYP : maybe she can be trusted and produce your songs.
JB : Yes.
JYP : Alright. lets give her a chance. since you have tomorrow off, bring her in with Got7.
JYP : i will book a studio just for Yejin, Got7, and myself.
JYP : i will have Lee Taehyun here to judge her, we will see how great she is tomorrow.
JB : Yes. thank you so much.
JYP : see you tomorrow.

After talking to JB, he went back to the dance studio to tell Got7 about it.

JB : Guys, i have good news.
Mark : did you talk to JYP about Annie ?
Jackson : what did he say ?
JB : He said that he will give Annie a chance tomorrow.
Jr. : really ?
JB : Oh.
Youngjae : this is exciting.
Yugyeom (*to Mark) : Hyung ! you should tell Annie about it.
Mark : i will when i see her later.

Got7 continued with dance practice for their debut. Back at Annie's work. Annie turned around and saw that Got7 had already left. She just cleaned up their table that they were sitting at.

When she was cleaning up the table, she saw a note on the table saying :
"I will be there to pick you up after you get off work, wait for me so we can go home together." - Mark.

Annie just smiled after reading that and put the note away in her pocket. As time past, it was already [10PM]. Lady Song had already went home and Annie was in charge of closing up the shop. She grabbed her backpack and things and closed up the shop. Annie walked out and locked the doors. She walked out around the corner and saw Mark there. She talked to him for a while before walking.

Annie (*walks around the corner & sees Mark)
Mark (*grins without showing his teeth)
Annie (*looks at him & smiles)
Mark (*looks at Annie curiously) : what ?
Annie : you kept your promise.
Mark : so you got the note on the table earlier i see.

Annie started walking and while walking, they started to talk and got to know each other.

Mark (*breaks the silence & starts talking)
Mark (*says) : the guys were wondering if you wanted to join us in the showcase.
Annie : Got7 ? showcase ?
Mark : yeah, we talked about it earlier. they wanted you to join.
Annie (*looks at Mark & suddenly asks) : Do you want me to join ?
Mark (*heart beats fast & says) : it depends on you but i want you to join us too.
Annie (*smiles) : then i'll join you. i have an idea of what to do at the showcase.
Mark : really ? what are you doing ?
Annie : for my solo, i think im going to sing one of the songs i wrote and maybe remix it.
Mark : so you finished writing your songs ?
Annie : not yet. Im working on it. its hard coming up the next things.
Mark : ahh.... i see. what did you want to do with us for the showcase ?
Annie : i'll just do whatever you guys want me to do in our group one.
Mark : and your going to produce everything by yourself ?
Annie : mhmmm.. but you guys are going to help me of course.
Mark : of course we will.
Mark : you know how to cook, produce music, write songs, play piano, dance.
Mark : what else can you do ?
Annie : i can play the guitar really well. (*smiles)
Mark : WOW. Impressive.
Mark : we were also wondering if you wanted to take part of our first full length album.
Annie : your debut ?
Mark : yeah.
Annie : what about JYP ? Isnt he the one producing your songs ?
Mark : once he sees how great you are, he will accept you to produce our songs.
Annie : if you can get an approval from JYP then i'll help you guys.
Annie : if not then i wont.
Mark : We asked him earlier and he said to come in tomorrow.
Mark : he wants to see your talent.
Annie : thats so fast.
Annie : if i help you produce your album,
Annie : can you guys sing one of my songs and add it on the album ?
Mark : sure, its the least we can do for you.
Annie : thanks.
Annie : i dont know why you guys are doing this to me.
Mark : maybe because they want you to succeed in something while your here.
Annie : you know, i dont have any intentions of becoming an idol.
Mark : who says you have to become an idol ?

Annie and Mark finally got to their houses. They said their goodbyes to each other and went inside the house. Annie took a shower and then went to bed. It was past midnight and Annie couldnt sleep at all. Annie got a text message from Kevin saying, "Annie-ah, i wont be going home tonight. Im going to be at my friends house to sleepover. Dont worry about me. Take care, Annie." After reading that message, Annie felt a little lonely and scared. So she grabbed her teddy bear and went next door to Mark. Mark couldnt sleep at all too so he came out to open the door for Annie.

Annie (*holding her teddy bear & rings Mark's house door bell)
Mark (*comes out opens the door & shockingly sees Annie)
Mark (*asks Annie) : its past midnight, what are you doing here Annie ?
Annie : my brother wont be home tonight and...............
Mark (*knows that she is scared & asks) : are you scared to be home alone ?
Annie : pssshhh.... who says im scared ?
Mark : alright then.. (*about to close the door)
Annie (*stops Mark from closing the door & says) : Okay, im scared.
Mark : see... you didnt have to lie about it.
Annie (*pouts & says) : sorry..
Mark (*feeling bad & says) : Do you want to crash on my couch tonight ?
Annie (*scared to ask) : will that be okay with you ?
Mark (*sighs) : come on in.

Mark let Annie come into his house. Annie sat on his living room couch while he went to bring down blankets for her. When he came downstairs, Annie was already passed on his couch. He quietly put the blanket over her and just sat there watching her sleep. He was admiring how pretty she looked when she sleep. After that, Mark went up to his room to sleep for the night.
