This Is My Life...

[Monday] Annie woke up for her first day of school at KJIA. When she left the house early to go to school, she did not see her oppa in the house and she didnt get a text from him either so she figured he left to work already.

Annie dressed in skinny jeans and a loose t-shirt with a snap back hat backwards with sneakers on and a backpack.

Before leaving the house, she packed some extra clothes (black Harlem pants, a loose white t-shirt) for her dance class that she knew she had later that day.

She closed the front gate of her house and walked the way towards the school hoping to know where the school was.

She stopped as she was at a stop light crossing the city street. Then Mark walked from behind. Annie noticed Mark beside her and told him good morning.

Annie (*turns & sees Mark) : Good morning Mark.
Mark : (*cooly says) : good morning.
Annie : where are you headed to ?
Mark : school. you ?
Annie : school too, its my first day today.
Mark : where at ? let me guess... Korea Junghwa International Art School ?
Annie (*shocked of how he knows) : how did you know ?
Mark : its the only school here in the area.
Annie (*smiles & looks at his name tag) : Oh ! You go there too ?
Mark : Yes.
Annie : is it okay if i follow you there ? i dont know where im going right now.
Mark : why not.

While they were walking together, they started to talk and got closer.

Annie : thank you for last night.
Mark : what for ?
Annie : the dinner with your family. it was the first time in a long time i had great company.
Mark : it was my moms idea in the first place, remember ?
Annie : yeah. i guess i have to thank her later then.
Mark : she's not going to be home for a while.
Annie : is it because of the baking competition ?
Mark : yeah, did she tell you ?
Annie : she told me about it but she never told me when.
Mark : yeah, she wont be around in a long time.
Annie : ahhh, i see.
Mark (*suddenly asks) : where are your parents ?
Annie (*stays silent for a while)
Mark : its okay if you dont want to tell me.
Annie : no, its not that. my mom passed away from an illness when i was younger.
Annie : after that, my dad remarried another women who had a son.
Mark : im sorry to hear that.
Annie : its fine. its been lonely ever since.
Mark : then why do you always stay strong in front of people when your not ?
Annie : Im always happy on the outside but deep inside, im in a bit pain from life.
Mark : how so ?
Annie : Well. My brother is always working and i never see him.
Annie : my mom is gone and i havent seen my dad in a long time.
Annie : and im not quite sure what i want to be when im older.
Annie : i envy you. you have a family who supports you and members who care about you.
Annie : what more can you ask for ? i really envy you.
Mark : there is nothing to envy about, not even me.
Annie : thats why your talented, am i right ?

Finally Mark and Annie arrived in front of the school.

Annie was surprised of how pretty the school looked and Mark looked at his clock seeing that it was almost time for homeroom.

Then Mark tells Annie that he had to go to class first and he headed off leaving her there.

Mark (*looks at his clock & says) : i have to get to class, i might be late.
Annie : Oh right ! you should go, your going to be late. and thank you for letting me follow you here.
Mark : are you sure you can find the school office on your own ?
Annie : im Annie, i can do anything. (*smiles)
Mark : then i should go now.
Annie : thank you for leading me to school with you.
Mark : i should go, bye.
Annie (*waves goodbye) : bye.

Then Annie walked to the Dean's office to talk to him and get her schedule and uniform.

When she was in the office, she was super nervous but as they talked to each other she really got to know the Dean and how he was related to her father.

Im Sungho (*looking through the transferred documents) : your name is Yejin, right ?
Lee Yejin : Yes. My name is Lee Yejin, Annie.
Im Sungho : and you are from LA California America ?
Lee Yejin : Yes, i am.
Im Sungho : I enrolled you in 2 homerooms and they have 2 different teachers.
Im Sungho : you are an excellent student and i think you will fit right in with the class.
Lee Yejin : yes, thank you.
Im Sungho : also, we have a strict policy for uniforms.
Im Sungho (*pulls out a pair of uniforms & gives it to her)
Im Sungho : this is the school uniform, there is a strict policy of no showing skin on campus.
Im Sungho : you must wear it everyday of the week.
Im Sungho : also, you must bring a pair of extra comfortable clothes to wear if you have dance class.
Lee Yejin : Yes, i understand. thank you.
Im Sungho : Your dad was a special friend to me, ive known him my entire life.
Lee Yejin : really ?
Im Sungho : Yes. He came to me to accept you into my school.
Im Sungho : i couldnt say no to my friend so i accepted you.
Im Sungho : I have never on any cases accept anyone outside of school, you are the first and maybe the last.
Im Sungho : i know about your money problems and im the only one to know here.
Im Sungho : if anyone else finds out, i have to kick you out.
Im Sungho : this school is only for high standards students.
Im Sungho : you are lucky to get in because of how close your father is to me.
Im Sungho : you got it ?
Lee Yejin : yes, i understand.
Im Sungho : go change into your uniform and your homeroom teacher will wait for you outside.
Lee Yejin : Yes. thank you.

Annie changed into her school uniform in the bathroom outside of the office. She was dressed in a skirt length to her knees with black high knee socks, a collar white shirt matching her skirt with a black blazer with the school logo on the corner, and her bangs swept to the side where she had it.

Annie put her other clothes in her backpack and headed out to see Mrs. Lee who was waiting for her. Mrs. Lee introduced herself to Annie and escorted her to the room.

Mrs. Lee walked into the room first and followed behind Annie.

Then Mrs. Lee introduced the class to Annie.

Got7 was shocked to see Annie again in the classroom. Mark was sitting there with a shocked face not even knowing that they will have the same class together.

Mrs. Lee (*introduces Annie to the class) : Everybody ! Today, we have a new student.
Mrs. Lee : she recently moved here from America, please welcome her.
(*Everyone applauses)
Mrs. Lee (*to Annie) : please introduce yourself to the class.
Annie (*introduces herself to everyone) : Hi everyone. Im Lee Yejin-imida, Annie. Please take care of me.
(*Everyone applauses)
Mrs. Lee (*to Annie & points at the seat) : Please take a seat in that empty spot there.

Annie went to the seat next to Mark. Mark looked at her the entire time when she was taking her seat next to him.

Mrs. Lee started the lecture and everyone opened up their books.

Mark shared his book with Annie who didnt have one yet.

Couple minutes in the lecture, Annie got a text message from Kevin saying.....

Annie (*phone vibrates & sees the text from Kevin)
Kevin (*texts) : Annie, text me back asap you get this message. Im worried. How's school?
Annie (*texts back underneath her table) : Oppa, im in class right now. Im fine.

When Annie was texting Kevin back, Mark saw at the corner of his eye and told her......

Mark (*whispers) : your not suppose to text in class.
Annie (*whispers back) : i know but its my brother.
Mark (*whispers) : is it urgent ? is everything okay ?
Annie (*whispers back) : he's just worried about me.
Annie (*whispers back) : you didnt tell me that you were in a group called Got7.
Mark (*whispers) : you know our group ? we havent debut yet.
Annie (*whispers back) : i have some friends back home who follows you on Instagram.
Annie (*whispers back) : they were raving about your debut. their a big fan of you guys.

Mrs. Lee (*catches Mark & Annie talking in the middle of class & calls them) : Mark ! Yejin !
Mark & Annie (*both stands up after being called) : Yes.
(*Everyone looking at them)
Mrs. Lee : there is no talking when im teaching up here. do you got that ?
Mark : Yes, im sorry. (*sits back down)
Annie (*to Mrs. Lee) : you can just call me Annie Mrs. Lee.
Mrs. Lee : I can call anything you anything i want and your birth name is Yejin.
Annie (*bows to Mrs. Lee & says) : Im sorry.
Annie (*to Mrs. Lee) : it was my fault, i was talking to Mark when you were teaching.
Mrs. Lee : i hate to punish someone on their first day Yejin.
Mrs. Lee : please stay after class and clean up.
Annie (*to Mrs. Lee) : I understand.

Class continued.

It was break time and everyone had about 30 minutes until the next teacher came in to teach.

While everyone else was going out to the halls to the bathroom and such, Annie was sitting at her desk looking at her phone on instagram.

Mark was sitting there too and he started to ask her about what happened earlier.

Annie (*looking through Instagram on her phone)
Mark (*suddenly asks Ailee) : you didnt have to take the blame, you know.
Annie : it was really my fault. my brother had texted me and he shouldnt have.
Mark : is everything okay ?
Annie : peachy.
Annie (*asks Mark) : Do you know where i can find a piano here on campus ?
Mark : there are a lot of them in the music hall across from this building. why ?
Annie : i want to check it out.
Mark (*confusingly asks) : you want to take it home ?
Annie (*smiles & laughs) : No. i want to see it.
Mark : yeah, you should go there. it has a lot of different instruments.
Annie : thanks.

Mrs. Kim finally came in to teach and then it was [1PM].

It was lunch time at KJIA and everyone had went to the cafeteria to eat lunch.

Mark was sitting with Got7 in the cafeteria and he didnt see Annie there so he was a little worried. So he excused himself from his friends and went into the music hall to search for her.

He finally found her in one of the biggest music rooms in the building.

Annie was eating lunch from her lunchbox and practice the piano at the same time working on a new song.

When Mark came into the room, Annie was shocked to see him and hid all of her music sheets away.

She was scared of people seeing her horrible work. He closed the door from behind and came to the piano where she was sitting at. He smiled at her and she was surprised that he was smiling for the first time.

Annie (*looks at Mark weirdly & asks) : Why are you smiling like that ?
Mark : i always like to see people play the piano, it makes me really happy.
Annie : your happy ? so im making you happy ?
Mark : thats not important. whats important is that i found you here instead of the cafeteria, why ?
Annie : it felt weird sitting in the cafeteria on the first day. weird people stare at you like your a nobody.
Annie : i know how it feels. besides, i wanted to practice on my piano since its been a long time.
Mark : you play ?
Annie : a little. im not that great.
Mark (*discovers her music sheets & smiles)
Annie (*looks at Mark saying) : what ?
Mark (*smiles) : you write quite a lot of music. do you bring these wherever you go ?
Annie : I just leave them in my backpack and practice when i have time.
Mark : can i hear one ?
Annie : its not finished.
Mark : i really want to hear it.

Annie was focused and played the first verse until the beginning of the second verse. She stopped afterwards because it wasnt finished.

Mark : this is really good. you should finish it and perform it at the showcase.
Annie : whoa, whoa, whoa. calm down there. no music will be at the showcase.
Annie : and its not going to be mine either.
Mark : but everyone has to perform at the showcase no matter what.
Mark : you have to perform solo and join a group performance.
Mark : its the rules. it shows that you can do solo and in a group.
Annie : well, im not performing.
Mark : it counts twice as much for your grade. you want to graduate, right ?
Annie : i have a few more months, i'll think of something.
Annie : Are you performing with Got7 ?
Mark : i have no choice.

Mark looked deeply into your eyes while sitting there in front of the piano.

He felt like he was going to fall in love with you. Both of your hearts beating at a fast pace.

Then Jackson and the other Got7 guys came into the room making Mark and Annie get away from each other in shock.

Annie continued on sitting in front looking at her music sheets while Mark stood on the other side of the piano.

Got7 came in and talked to Mark and met Annie.

Jackson (*comes into the room followed by Got7) : Mark, there you are.
Mark (*looks up at Jackson & gets away from Annie) : whats up guys ?
Jackson : we've been looking everywhere for you.
Mark : i was here.
Jackson (*to Annie & jokes around) : Did Mark hurt you in some way ?
Mark (*to Jackson trying to calm him down) : Jackson.
Annie (*laughs & smiles)
Annie (*tells Jackson) : Not at all. he was being noisy with my music sheets.
Jr. (*sees Annie's music sheets) : you write music ?
Annie : i used to. im just revisiting them, its been a while.
Jr. : so you do belong here Yejin.
Jr. : you should play at the showcase.
JB : yeah ! thats a great idea. everyone is going to perform.
JB : its a perfect way to show your talent.
Annie : its not a talent, its a hobby.
JB : it could be something more than that, it can be your career.
BamBam (*begs Annie) : Come on Noona.
Annie : i dont know whats the big deal with this showcase anyways.
BamBam : you get to show the crowd what you can do.
BamBam : just do it noona....
Annie : i’ll think about it.
Mark (*to Annie) : i'll see you afterschool.
Youngjae (*questions the two) : whats going on afterschool ?
Annie (*to Mark) : i have to clean, remember ?
Mark (*to Annie) : Oh, right. i'll wait for you later.
Annie (*to Mark) : you dont have to, i can get home on my own.
Mark (*to Annie) : your brother isnt here, remember ? And he’s worried about you.
Youngjae (*says outloud) : i cant believe these two, ignoring me.
Yugyeom (*says to Youngjae) : Wow, really.
Annie (*to Youngjae) : im sorry Youngjae.
Annie (*to the rest of the members) : im going to class now, see you guys later.

Annie packed up her things and grabbed her backpack to leave. Got7 stood there talking to Mark about Annie.

Youngjae (*to Mark) : Whats going on with you and the new girl ?
Mark : the new girl is Yejin. she’s our classmate, remember ?
JB : Are you trying to get close to her ?
Jackson : do you like her by any chance ?
Mark : nonsense.
Mark : She’s been living a hard life when she was growing up.
Mark : she needs friends like us around her.
Jr. : why do you suddenly care ?
Mark : she lives alone everyday in that house. her brother is always working day and night.
Mark : she's very lonely and she needs someone like us to be there for her.
Youngjae : she seems like she has a lot of talent, you should ask her to join us in the showcase.
BamBam : we actually need a pair up. i think it will be a good combination.
Mark : why dont you ask her yourself ?
Yugyeom : because we dont know her that well, you do.
Yugyeom : please ? will you ask her ? there is only 3 months left.
Mark (*sighs) : fine. if she says no then its no.
Mark : enough with this, lets get to class.

Got7 went to class. While Annie was in class, Jia (the mean girl) came up to Annie trying to confront her.

Jia (*goes over to Annie’s desk & says) : New girl.
Annie : Im Yejin, its nice to meet you.
Jia : whats your deal ?
Annie (*confusingly says) : i dont have a deal.
Jia : of course you do.
Annie : i dont understand.
Jia : let me get this out. Never get close to GOT7, or else you will die in my hands.
Annie (*becomes scared & says) : i understand.
Mina (*comes up to Annie & Jia)
Mina (*says to Jia) : Lay off. she’s not hurting anybody so why should you ?
Jia (*to Mina) : look what the wolf brought in, little red riding hood.
Mina (*says to Jia) : Beat it. (*shows the door to Jia)

Jia finally left leaving Annie alone. Mina asked Annie if she was okay after what happened. They instantly became friends.

Mina (*comes up to Annie) : Hi. Im Song Jieun but you can call me Mina.
Mina : its nice to meet you.
Annie : Im Lee Yejin, Annie.
Mina : just watch out for Jia next time. she might actually hurt you if your like this.
Annie : Jia ? thats her name ?
Mina : yeah. she is the queen bee here at KJIA, also the triple threat of the school.
Annie : why ?
Mina : because she can sing, dance, and act. probably modeling too, who knows.
Annie : thank you for back there.
Mina : its nothing. just be careful next time.
Annie : i’ll keep that in mind next time.
Mina : i realized that you were talking to Mark earlier in class. do you know him well ?
Annie : No. i actually met him a couple days ago when i was grocery shopping.
Annie : its turns out that we're neighbors.
Mina : if you knew Mark then you must know Got7.
Annie : i have met them earlier, i dont know if i know them know them.
Mina : i envy you that you know them. we should hang out together with Jin.
Annie : whose Jin ?
Mina : my boyfriend.
Annie : Ah..... i see. i would love to hang out sometimes. (*smiles)
Mina (*smiles) : cool !

The bell rang for the last class of the day.

Got7 walked into the classroom into their seats while Mrs. Kim.

For the first hour, Mrs. Kim taught history and the second to third hour, she taught dance.

When it was time for dance class, everyone in homeroom went to the lockers to change and met in the gymnasium.

In the locker rooms, it was divided boys on one side and girl on the other side. They only got 15 minutes to change into their practice clothes.

When Annie was in the locker rooms, she went to her locker. She changed into the clothes she had this morning which was skinny jeans and a loose t-shirt with a snapback hat backwards with sneakers. She was comfortable in those clothes for dancing.
Everyone else dressed in t-shirts, baggy pants, sneakers and some wore snap back hats.

Annie walked out with the rest of the students and began the stretching routine.

Then Mrs. Kim started teaching the students some moves for the showcase. It was really up to them to decide whether to use it in their performance for the showcase.
