This Is My Life...

[Sunday] Annie didnt even see Kevin last night when he came home. So she woke up at [7AM] to make breakfast for Kevin before he went to work. He came out of his room at 8AM and sat at the dinner table and talked to Annie before going to work.

Kevin (*comes out of his room & sees Annie in the kitchen) : Hey.
Annie (*looks up at Kevin & says) : Good Morning.
Kevin : your up early this morning.
Annie : i wanted to make you breakfast before you head out to work.
Kevin : so what are you cooking this morning ?
Annie : just old fashion American breakfast.
Kevin : sounds good. (*sits in front of Annie & eats)
Kevin : So you got any plans today ?
Annie : im going to work at the restaurant.
Kevin : oh really ? what time ?
Annie : at 10am.
Kevin : Ahh.... i see. Are you excited for your first day tomorrow ?
Annie : im excited but im nervous at the same time.
Kevin : dont be. you'll do great and make new friends.
Annie : how do you know that for sure ?
Kevin : Your Annie. you get along with everybody.
Annie : there are certain people i get along with, not all.
Kevin : you know what i mean.
Annie : I never see you at home and its only been 2 days since we got here.
Annie: its like your disappearing on me.
Kevin : you know i have work, a lot of work.
Annie : dont you think your over doing it ?
Kevin : we have to make money and live like most people in this world.
Annie : im just saying.
Kevin : i wont stay long, i have to get to work.
Annie : when are you coming back later ?
Kevin : at around 11 tonight. Dont wait up, you have a big day tomorrow.
Annie : alright. i guess i'll see you later then.
Kevin : okay.

Kevin headed out the door to work. Annie changed her clothes and went to work.

Annie spent her entire day at work and earning money. She got off at [5:30pm], earlier then her usual time she gets off.

She went to the supermarket to buy some tomatoes hoping to pay back Mark from Friday.

When Annie got back to her house from the supermarket, she went straight up to Mark's house to give him the tomatoes back but he wasnt there.

Annie (*rings the door bell)
Mrs. Tuan (*opens the door while in the middle of baking)
Mrs. Tuan (*sees Annie & says) : Oh. Hi there.
Annie : Hi. i was wondering if Mark is home.
Mrs. Tuan : He left hours ago for practice.
Mrs. Tuan : Im his mother, Can i help you with something ?
Annie (*immediately bows & says) : Hello. my name is Annie, Lee Yejin-imida.
Annie (*holds up the bag of tomatoes)
Annie : i came to give Mark back his tomatoes from when i borrowed them on Friday.
Mrs. Tuan : its okay, we're all neighbors here.
Annie : i really want to pay you back as soon as i could.
Mrs. Tuan : would you like to come in ?
Annie : i shouldnt.
Mrs. Tuan (*grabs Annie's arm & pulls her inside)

Mrs. Tuan pulled Annie inside her house into the kitchen. Annie notices when she went into the kitchen that Mrs. Tuan was baking some pastries for the guys who were going to come over later after practice. Then Annie started to question Mrs. Tuan as she was continuing to bake again.

Annie (*looks around the kitchen & asks) : Were you baking Mrs. Tuan ?
Mrs. Tuan : Yes, i was. how did you know ? you must be a baker yourself.
Annie : i bake once in a while when im free. I havent baked in a long time.
Mrs. Tuan : why dont you give it a try ? maybe you havent forgot.
Annie : can i ?
Mrs. Tuan : sure you can.

Annie picked up some ingredients and started putting it together.

Annie (*asks while baking) : You said Mark was practicing, but for what ?
Mrs. Tuan : he is about to debut as a kpop idol artist here under JYP Entertainment.
Mrs. Tuan : so he is practicing dancing, singing, and rapping with the members.
Annie : ah, I see. I have heard of JYP in the states.
Annie : A lot of my school mates back home listen to kpop music.
Mrs. Tuan : do you listen to kpop music as well ?
Annie : no, but i heard a few songs.
Annie : are you having company over ? there is quite a lot of pastries on the counter.
Mrs. Tuan : we are having some guests over in a little bit.
Annie : Are you a baker ? like a world star baker ?
Mrs. Tuan : why do you ask ?
Annie : your skills with cake is outstanding.
Mrs. Tuan : outstanding, i'll keep that in mind. (*smiles)
Mrs. Tuan : i am baker. I travel all over the world to bake at competitions.
Annie : Wow, thats great !
Mrs. Tuan : so you just moved here the last two days ?
Annie : Yes, just two days ago.
Mrs. Tuan : how do you like it so far ?
Annie : its good, very different from America a lot.
Mrs. Tuan : of course. where were you originally from in America ?
Annie : LA.
Mrs. Tuan : our family is from LA too before we moved here.
Annie : what a small world.
Mrs. Tuan : So you live here by yourself ?
Annie : i live with my older brother but i just feel like he's never here.
Mrs. Tuan : why is that ?
Annie : he's always working, he has 2 jobs.
Mrs. Tuan : why ?
Annie : we are in a tight situation with money at the moment.
Annie : we cant afford anything big right now.
Mrs. Tuan: im sorry to hear that. Im sorry to ask you about your personal life.
Annie : its fine.

Then Annie's cake was finished baking in the oven. She went to take it out and put it on a tray to cool down. After waiting for the cake to cool down, Annie grabbed some icing and started to decorate it. The cake was really small stacked up together. When Annie was about to begin decorating it, all of the GOT7 members came into the house with Mark the one opening the door.

Mark (*opening the door)
Mrs. Tuan (*hears Mark opening the door)
Mrs. Tuan (*says to Annie) : it must be Mark and his members.

GOT7 walked into the kitchen greeting Mrs. Tuan. They looked over at Annie unfamiliar of who she was and Mrs. Tuan introduced GOT7 to Annie.

Mark (*sees Annie as soon as he walked into the kitchen & says) : Annie ?
Annie (*looks up at Mark & says) : Hi Mark.
Mrs. Tuan (*introduce GOT7 to Annie) : Kids, this is Annie Lee Yejin.
Mrs. Tuan : she is our new neighbor.
Annie (*bows & introduces) : Hello.
JB : somebody finally bought that house ?
Jackson : yeah, its been years.
Mrs. Tuan (*to the GOT7 members) : why dont you all hang out in the living room ?
Mrs. Tuan : i will call you all once dinner is done.
GOT7 (*says all together) : Yes !
Mrs. Tuan (*to Annie) : your staying for dinner, right?
Annie : i really shouldnt, i should get back soon.
Mrs. Tuan : join us tonight.
Jr. : yeah, join us. it'll be fun.
Annie : alright.

All of the GOT7 members besides Mark headed to the living room grabbing a bite of cake.

Mark (*to Mrs. Tuan) : Ma, im going to was up and head back down for dinner.
Mrs. Tuan : Let me go get something out of your room first, i left it there earlier.
Mrs. Tuan : i'll be right back.
Mrs. Tuan (*whispers to Mark) : Be nice.
Mark : Ma.

Mrs. Tuan went upstairs to get something leaving Mark there in the kitchen with Annie while she was decorating her cake.

Mark : you bake as well ? is there anything you cant do ?
Annie (*smiles & says) : im not quite sure.
Mark : so your staying for dinner ? why ?
Annie : you know that i couldnt say no to your mom.
Annie : it was rude to say no and some of your members told me to.
Mark : members ? you know about that ?
Annie : your mom told me and i asked. i was curious of what your occupation was.
Annie : Kpop idol huh ?
Mark : yeah.
Annie : why choose this life ?
Mark : i dont ever think that i couldve done something else besides being a star.
Mark : is it surprising?
Annie : i dont think so. i think its unique and different.
Annie : Everyone has a different pathway to life.
Annie : your lucky to have such amazing supportive parents in your life.
Annie : i wish i had that.
Mark : why ? you dont have that ?
Annie : i dont.

Mrs. Tuan finally came back down. Mark went upstairs to wash up. Annie was done with decorating her cake and left it on the counter table. After a while, dinner was ready and everyone headed to the kitchen table to eat together.

It was already [10:30pm] and Annie was almost finished eating when Kevin called her on her cellphone.

(*Annie's cellphone rings)
Annie (*picks up) : Hello ?
Kevin : where are you Annie ? its 10:30, i dont see you at home.
Annie : im at my neighbors house eating dinner.
Kevin : come home now.
Annie : i know. i'll be back in a sec.
Kevin : Now.
Annie : okay. (*hangs up the phone)

Mrs. Tuan : who was that ?
Annie : my brother.
Annie : im sorry, i have to get going. My brother is worried about me being out late.
Mrs. Tuan : take some food home before you leave.
Annie : yes, thank you for dinner.
Mrs. Tuan : thank you for helping me bake earlier.
Annie (*to GOT7) : it was nice to meet you all.

Mrs. Tuan helped Annie pack up food and Annie headed out.

Annie walked into her house seeing Kevin sitting on the kitchen table waiting.

Annie (*puts the bag on the table) : Hey.
Kevin : you were at a neighbors house? what were you doing ?
Annie : i told you that i was eating dinner.
Annie : they wanted to welcome me into the neighborhood.
Kevin (*has the look on his face like he doesnt trust Annie)
Annie : you dont trust me ?
Kevin : its not that.
Annie : then what is it ? your worried something might happen to me ?
Annie : nothing is going to happen to me, i can take care of myself Kev.
Kevin : i know you can but an extra body doesnt hurt.
Annie : you know i dont want to fight about this.
Kevin : we're not.
Annie : we have to trust each other Kev.
Kevin : i know Ann.
Kevin : go to bed, you have school tomorrow.
Annie : goodnight Kevin.
Kevin : night.

Annie went to her room and slept. Kevin was in the kitchen still thinking but he went to sleep eventually...
