This Is My Life...

The next morning came [WEDNESDAY] and it was already [8:30AM]. When Yejin woke up she didnt realized that she was nearly late for school. She sat up and grabbed her backpack and ran all the way home to get dressed for school. Then she ran all the way to school seeing GOT7 in the hallway by their lockers talking to each other. Yejin was getting her textbooks in her lockers until Jr. came over to talk to her.

Jr. (*coming towards Yejin & leans against the lockers)
Jr (*says to Yejin) : i thought you'd be late today.
Yejin (*looks over to Jr.)
Yejin (*says) : i was going to be late but then i remember we have school
Yejin (*closes her locker & says) : someone didnt wake me up. (*walks towards the class)
Jr. (*follows behind & says) : im sorry, we're sorry.
Jr. : i want to know something.
Yejin (*stops walking & asks) : about what ?
Jr. (*suddenly stops with Yejin & asks) : whats wrong with you and Mark lately ?
Jr. : are you two mad at each other ?
Yejin : ask him, he knows. He is the one who is mad at me so go ask him yourself.
Jr. : why ?

Yejin walked away and went to class leaving Jr. still standing there. Then the rest of GOT7 caught up with Jr. and dragged him to class together. While everyone was in lecture, they were focused and studying hard. Yejin took a break from looking at the board and looked outside the window. As she looked outside, she saw Jin standing there giving her signals to meet him at a cafe near the school for lunch. Yejin quickly nod her head and went back to listening to the lecture. When [lunch] came, Yejin headed out not telling the guys where she went and just met up with Jin at the cafe near school. They sat there together at the cafe and talked while drinking coffee there.

Yejin : why are you back ? i thought you were debuting with Bangtan Boys ?
Jin : Im still debuting with them. I came back because i needed talk to you.
Yejin : about what ?
Jin : I heard that you bail on BigHit yesterday for Minjee's demo cd. is that true ?
Yejin : i had something important to do.
Jin : what was so important than doing a demo cd ?
Yejin : i signed with JYP Entertainment.
Jin : thats great !
Yejin : you were the first person who congratulated me.
Jin : there's another chance for you to help us with Minjee's demo CD.
Yejin : how ? i thought it was too late ?
Jin : its never too late for anything, just like how it wasnt too late for your contract.
Jin : you chose a good time to sign with JYP.
Yejin : i really want to help but my whole day is packed with work, practice, and school.
Jin : why dont you come in during your lunch time, you have two hours right ?
Yejin : yeah. why ?
Jin : stay for today until class starts and we'll get things down.
Jin : we might have to push back the deadline if thats what it takes.
Yejin : Did my dad send you to talk to me ?
Jin : No. i went myself.
Jin : Minjee is a hard worker when it comes to the Entertainment world.
Jin : she deserves to get signed with a famous record label in the US.
Jin : so your dad had nothing to do with it.
Yejin : you think this is going to work ?
Jin : i dont think, i know.
Yejin : why are you being so nice after what happened with you and Mina ?
Jin : i care for everyone and i did care for Mina.
Jin : My future career was on the line, i had to go.
Yejin : why would you leave her like that ?
Jin : once you truly love someone, you'll do whatever it takes to be with that person.
Jin : i did everything i could and i still love her till this day.
Jin : i want her to be happy just like how i was happy with becoming a kpop star.
Jin : she needs to find her own happiness rather than following mine.
Yejin : i'll help.....
Jin : thank you.

Yejin followed Jin to BigHit Entertainment to help Minjee on her demo cd. When they got there, they met up with Minjee and started getting to work. After 2 hours later, 3 songs for the demo cd was completed and ready to be packed up. Yejin and Minjee was finished with recording and writing the songs. The CD's were ready to be shipped out to the record label in the US. So Yejin and Minjee walked back to school just in time for class. It was already [4PM] and Yejin had already got out of school. She was on her way to work until Taehyun called her over the phone.

Yejin (*picks up her phone & starts walking to her work) : Hello ?
Taehyun : Yejin-ah ?
Yejin : Yes. who is this ?
Taehyun : your dad.
Yejin : Ohhh, dad. how did you get my number ?
Taehyun : Jin gave it to me. I have something important to speak to you about.
Yejin : I can't right now, i have to get to work. I still owe my boss the hours I've missed.
Taehyun : its okay. when do you get out ?
Yejin : at 10pm but i have showcase practice afterwards at JYPE.
Taehyun : I'll meet you at 10pm in the cafe in JYPE tonight. i really need to talk to you.
Taehyun : its important.
Yejin : Alright. i'll see you tonight then.
Taehyun : okay.

Afterwards Yejin went to work and as time passed, it was already [10PM]. She locked up the restaurant and headed to JYPE cafe to see her dad. When she walked in the cafe, she immediately saw him and went to take her seat. Then they started talking…

Yejin : what did you need me for ?
Taehyun : We got back with the record label for Minjee.
Yejin (*excited & asks) : thats so fast ! how did you do that ?
Taehyun : we used the shipping within the day policy and they got the CD.
Taehyun : they loved Minjee's voice and they are signing her to the record label soon.
Yejin : thats great ! Does she know yet ?
Taehyun : i will tell her tomorrow once she comes in to practice.
Taehyun : the label also liked the person who produced and wrote the songs.
Yejin : oh really ? thats a relief. (*smiles)
Taehyun : they have an offer for you too if you want it.
Yejin : what is it ?
Taehyun : they want you to come with Minjee and produce with them.
Taehyun : the label is going to pay for your apartment and plane fee if your interested.
Taehyun : you will be working with Minjee and helping with her future albums.
Yejin : it all sounds very nice but i just wish you would told me earlier.
Taehyun : why ? its a good opportunity for you.
Yejin : it is and I'm thankful that the label loved what i did but i can't take that offer.
Yejin : i signed with JYP the other day and I'm an official artist in JYP now.
Taehyun (*smiles) : thats my girl. I'm proud of you.
Yejin : Dad. i want to become an idol and produce music, also write them too.
Yejin : i want to be heard like everyone else here.
Taehyun : I'm not upset that you didn't take that offer for the record label.
Taehyun : I'm happy that you decided what you wanted to do with your life.
Taehyun : i couldn't be more proud of you.
Yejin (*smiles & says) : why can't Kevin be happy for me ?
Taehyun : the reason why he didn't want you to go into the music industry is because
Taehyun : he feels like he doesn't have the same talent you do.
Taehyun : he can only work from places to places and earn that money.
Yejin : He doesn't have a talent but he did raise me until i was older.
Taehyun : that is true but he feels that way.
Yejin : he left me and now I'm alone.
Taehyun : if you want, you can come and live with us for a while until he gets back.
Taehyun : you don't have to be alone.
Yejin : thank you dad. i want to live there by myself.
Yejin : besides, i have to pay rent and debt too.
Taehyun : debt ? how much ?
Yejin : i paid $7,000 US Dollars already.
Yejin : I have 2 weeks to pay off the rest of the $3,000.
Taehyun : Do you need the $3,000 ?
Yejin (*shakes her head & says) : i couldn't ask you for money. i can get it on my own.
Taehyun : are you sure ?
Yejin : yes.

Yejin turned around to get her backpack when her back showed some skin with a big scar on it. Taehyun noticed and comes towards Yejin to grab onto her to see what was on her back.

Taehyun (*grabs her arm & looks at her back shoulder)
Taehyun (*says) : what happened to your shoulder ?
Yejin (*pulls back lightly because it hurt & says) : its nothing.
Taehyun : did the loan sharks do this to you ? tell me what happened ?
Yejin : it was couple of weeks ago when i met them again in Korea.
Yejin : they hurt me badly and i got hurt.
Taehyun : what did they use to hurt you ?
Yejin : something hard, i couldn't see what it was. it hurt too much to see.
Taehyun : where was Kevin at that time ?
Yejin : Working.
Taehyun : I don't want this to keep happening to you. Come and live with me.
Yejin : its fine dad. i can handle everything on my own.
Yejin : the loan sharks won't leave me alone until i give them what they want.
Yejin : trust me, i need to work this out on my own.
Yejin : they must not know that you, GOT7, and Mina exists.
Yejin : if they do, they will hurt everyone that i know.
Yejin : its best to stay away from me now. trust me, dad.
Taehyun : alright.
Yejin : i have to go to practice now.
Yejin : Tell the record label that i can't take the offer from them.
Yejin : I'm sorry.
Taehyun : i'll tell him.

Yejin walked out of the cafe and went to the main lobby to take the elevator to the 5th floor to practice with GOT7. When Yejin got into the elevator, someone was running towards the elevator doors and stopped for the doors to open again. Yejin held the door at a quick reflex. When that person came in, Yejin was shocked with her eyes because it was Mark. Then she pressed the 5th floor button and waited for the elevator to make it. It was dead silence between Mark and Yejin. None of them said anything and the elevator had reached the 5th floor. Then the both of them got off and headed to the practice room. When they walked inside, there was no one inside but the two. Yejin and Mark looked around to find everyone but no one was there. So Mark called JB to see where they were. The rest of the GOT7 team were out eating street food near the company trying to avoid Yejin and Mark at the company because they knew that they were mad at each other so GOT7 thought that they should make up soon when they are by themselves.

JB (*picks up his phone & says) : Ohhh Mark.
Mark : where are you guys ?
JB : we'll be there soon, we had to do something.
Mark : Alright.

After handing up, JB and the guys laughed so hard when they were there. Mark just looked at Yejin wanting to ask her something but he just couldn't. Then Yejin got a phone call from her dad regarding the acceptance.

Yejin (*picks up the phone & says) : Hey.
Taehyun : i have talked to the record label and told them you didn't accept the offer.
Yejin : thank you.
Taehyun : come by my company if you need anything, i mean anything.
Yejin : of course.
Taehyun : goodnight and take care.
Yejin : Okay goodnight.

After hanging up the phone, Yejin decided to call Donghyun and let him know that she has the money if he wants to get it soon. Mark overheard her talking with the loan shark.

Donghyun (*picks up the phone & says) : Hello ?
Yejin : its me Yejin.
Donghyun : what is it now ?
Yejin : i have the 3 grand if you still want it.
Donghyun : Yes.
Yejin : meet me at the bank near the convenient store right now.
Yejin : i'll be there waiting for you.
Donghyun : i'll be there right now.

Hanging up the phone and Yejin started to head out. Mark was worried for her so he grabbed her arm and pulled her back saying……

Mark : Yejin-ah, you can't go alone.
Yejin : since when do you care ?
Mark : i can't let you go alone, its too dangerous.
Mark : you might get hurt again and im worried for you.
Yejin (*looks at Mark straight in the eye & then starts walks out)
Yejin (*walks out the door & says) : what are you still standing there for ? Hurry !

Mark following her from behind protecting her from the bad guys. They got to the bank and Yejin withdraw $3,000 from her bank account. She only had $1,000 more left in her bank account. After withdrawing, Yejin put it into an envelope that she was given at the bank. Then Mark and Yejin went outside to wait for Donghyun to come. Then Yejin turned to Mark and told him to go somewhere else to hid before Donghyun see's him in sight.

Yejin : You should go somewhere to hid. Donghyun should not see you in sight.
Yejin : if he sees you then he might hurt me or you so stay out of sight of him.
Yejin : i'll call you back once he leaves.
Mark : Ohhhh.. be careful Yejin-ah.
Yejin : i know.

Mark went behind the other building and watched Yejin from afar. Then Donghyun came and Yejin talked to him giving him the money.

Donghyun : what do you have for me ?
Yejin (*gives him the envelope of money in it)
Donghyun (*accepts the envelope & takes it)
Donghyun : how much is the remaining ?
Yejin : $3,000 US Dollars. Thats everything i owe you.
Donghyun : i didnt think you would give me the money before the deadline.
Yejin : its all i have left in my bank account. it should be enough for the debt i owe you.
Donghyun : the years ive known you, you would always do as i say. why is that ?
Yejin : because in order to get what you want, you hurt me even more and
Yejin : it leaves me scars, bad ones.
Yejin : Scars that i can remember forever and scars people can clearly see.
Yejin : i dont want to get hurt anymore by you or your people.
Donghyun : your a good person.
Donghyun : whatever you decide to do in the future,
Donghyun : always remember where you came from. it'll be worth every memory.
Yejin (*nods & says) : Yes. I gave you what you want, will you leave me alone now ?
Donghyun : your free from me, i wont look for you anymore.
Donghyun : remember to work hard and strive for the best.
Yejin (*smiles) : I understand.
Yejin : It's not too late to give up the loan shark role for your family.
Yejin : I wish you and your wife a good life ahead of you. Tell her i said Hello.
Donghyun : I will. take care Yejin-ah.
Yejin : Yes.
Donghyun : thank you for your debt money. Tell your brother not to run anymore.
Donghyun : im not going to look for him anymore.
Yejin : He's gone, I like that its quiet now.
Donghyun : just wish he comes back soon.
Yejin (*nods) : thank you.

Donghyun walked away with the money home. When Donghyun reached the other side of the street farther away, Yejin went to get Mark who was standing behind the building behind her in the corner. Then they started to walk back together to JYPE to practice with the rest of the guys. While walking together, they started to talk to each other and making up.

Mark : So are you finished ?
Yejin : if your talking about paying all the debt then yes i am finished.
Mark : thats a relief.
Yejin (*hesitates & says) : Im sorry about the last time we talked.
Yejin : i really didnt know that you'd be mad at me when i didnt tell you about JYP.
Yejin : im really am sorry Mark.
Mark : I didnt see it coming, neither did anyone else.
Mark : It was your choice and thats what you wanted, wasnt it ?
Yejin (*nods & says) : its what i really want for my future.
Yejin : Its going to be difficult but i have to go through with it if i want it.
Mark : if thats what you want then you have my support all the way.
Mark : i am sorry that i got so upset with you about that.
Yejin (*looks down & smiles) : its okay Mark. I tried as hard as i can to keep together.
Yejin : But everytime we see each other, we always fight.
Yejin : Im not sure if that can make us both happy.
Mark (*stops walking & faces Yejin holding her hands)
Mark (*says) : the best part in a relationship is when we make mistakes together.
Mark : fighting is what makes everything better for the both of us.
Mark : Nobodys perfect in a relationship and you know that.
Mark : and we are happy, together. (*smiles)

Then Yejin smiled and locked hands with Mark and walked home together.
