This Is My Life...

The next morning [TUESDAY], Yejin had woken up for school. When she was eating breakfast, she felt how empty it was without Kevin not being there. Then Yejin headed out the door and walked to school with her headphones on on the way there. When she got to school, she went straight to her locker and got her textbooks. Then before class started, she went into the garden to walk around to think about somethings because there were a lot of things on her mind. While Yejin was in the garden walking by herself, she saw Minjee go towards her wanting to talk to her so they stood there to talk about a few things.

Minjee (*walks towards Yejin & says) : Unnie.
Yejin (*walks & sees Minjee & says) : Ohhh, Minjee.
Minjee (*curious of how Yejin felt & asks) : How are you from yesterday ? Are you okay ?
Yejin (*says in a sad tone) : Ohhh, I'm fine.
Minjee : are you sure ? you don't look okay. Last night is still bothering you, huh ?
Yejin (*nods & says) : I'm sorry about what happened.
Minjee : don't be. Have you decided to help me ?
Yejin : i don't know, everything is rushing through my head right now.
Yejin : i have to take care of something first before anything.
Yejin : is it okay if i come later to BigHit if i feel okay ?
Minjee : we will be there to wait for you if you decide to help us.
Minjee : you take care of yourself now.
Yejin : Ohhh, thanks.

Minjee left and then the bell rang for class to start. Yejin made her way into class and sat in her seat. She focused and listened to all of the teacher lectures. 3 hours later, it was [12PM Break]. Yejin, GOT7, and Mina sat there in class while everyone else in class went outside in the halls. They all sat there to talk for a bit before leaving to lunch.

Yugyeom : It feels nice to all be together again.
BamBam : Oh, when are we going to practice more for the showcase ?
Youngjae (*to Yejin) : Can you practice tonight after work ?
Yejin : yeah.
Jr. : let's practice then.
Yejin : lets do that tonight.
Jackson : i think if we practice one more week then we will get it for the showcase.
JB : right. we have half a choreo down, only a few more to go.
(*The bell rings for lunch)
Mark : lets go eat !
Mina : hurry up !

Yejin, GOT7, and Mina got up to head out to the cafeteria to eat. When they were sitting there eating, Yejin was sitting there looking at her watch watching the time. Then Mark told the guys that he was going to be right back. Mark went to his locker to get Yejin a present which was a cellphone that Yejin broke couple days ago. He thought about her when he bought it for her. When he came back from his locker, he spotted that Yejin was already gone. Then he asked the guys...

Mark : where did Yejin go ?
JB : She said that she wanted to visit her brother at his work.
Jackson : yeah, she already left.
Mark : how long did she leave ?
Jr. : not long.

Then Mark left out the cafeteria out of the school following Yejin holding her gift. Finally he caught up with her when she was walking out of the school. When Yejin arrived at JYP Entertainment and Mark was very familiar with the neighborhood. Mark saw Yejin walk into the company and he was shocked because Yejin had lied to her friends about visiting her brother. Yejin went to the front desk and ask for assistance while Mark was staying behind her to see what she was doing sneakily.

Sooyoung : You must be Lee Yejin.
Yejin : Yes. Im sorry im late.
Sooyoung : let me give JYP a call before you enter.
Yejin : Yes.

(*Over the phone)
Sooyoung : CEO JYP, Yejin is here. May i tell her to come up to your office ?
JYP : Yes.
Sooyoung : Yes, i understand.

Sooyoung : If you take the stairs up and walk down the hall,
Sooyoung : its the first door to your right.
Sooyoung : please knock before you go in.
Yejin : thank you.

Yejin made her way upstairs and to JYP's office. Mark came from behind and asked Sooyoung about Yejin.

Sooyoung (*sees Mark & bows)
Mark : what is Yejin doing here for Sooyoung ?
Sooyoung : its about a contract.
Mark : thank you.

Mark follows upstairs to Yejin and Sooyoung bowed her head politely. Yejin went into JYP's office and sat down to talk about it. Mark stood outside against the wall hearing everything they talked about. He was completely shocked and upset that Yejin had lied to him.

JYP : I see that you have come to make your decision today.
Yejin : Yes. I want to start a fresh life if i can and i really want to become an artist here.
Yejin : under JYPE of course.
JYP : Im glad that you made a good choice, its what i was looking forward to.
JYP : Does your father mind you signing with us ?
Yejin : i havent told him yet and my brother............... (*hesitates)
JYP : your brother what ?
Yejin : he doesnt agree that i should go into the entertainment industry.
JYP : he is wrong because we can make you become the best here in JYPE.
JYP : Have you signed the contract i gave you ?
Yejin (*pulls it out from her backpack & puts it on the table in front of her)
Yejin : i actually wanted to talk to you about it before i sign it.
JYP : thats good. So we are going to train you until you are ready to debut.
JYP : You start out as a solo artist and if we find something more,
JYP : then you make the choice.
JYP : its whether to stay as a solo artist or join a team.
JYP : There are vocal, dance, and promotion rehearsal practices everyday.
JYP : its hard work but you will get it through the time as a trainee.
JYP : also, you cannot have a serious relationship with any of the artists.
JYP : that goes for outside of JYPE and inside of JYPE.
Yejin : Yes, i understand.
JYP : So you have thought it through to signing this contract with us already ?
Yejin : Yes, i have.
JYP (*turns to the section where to sign)
JYP (*says) : Please sign here if you wish to join JYP Nation.

Yejin was hesitant of signing the contract but she was glad that she did. Then JYP shook her hand and she shook back. Mark was surprised so he left outside of the JYP building standing beside the building waiting for Yejin to come out. JYP told Yejin to go downstairs to talk to Sooyoung about getting a pass for the company whenever she comes in. Yejin made a pass and left out the building. She didnt notice Mark so she continued walking back to the school. While walking, Mark followed her back and decided to call out her name. Yejin stopped from hearing the familiar voice of Mark's and got shocked. She took one more step and Mark called her back saying, "stop right there". Then Yejin was really scared and listened to him and stopped on the side of the street. Mark then came over to Yejin to talk to her.

Yejin (*stutters) : M.... Mark ?
Mark : I thought you were going to visit your brother at his work ?
Mark : what are you doing at JYP Entertainment ? Does he work here ?
Yejin : No, but I can explain.
Mark : Go on ahead.
Yejin : JYP offered me a contract after we met him in the studio.
Yejin : he came after me when i was talking to my dad.
Mark : and what did you tell him ?
Yejin : I told him that i wanted to think about it and get back to him soon.
Yejin : today, i went to see him and signed the contract.
Mark : why sign a contract when you said you loved producing and writing music ?
Mark : i thought thats all you wanted to do is produce and write music ?
Yejin : i did but JYP wanted me to put everything in and become an idol.
Yejin : it'll be the best for me if i did so.
Mark : and you listened to JYP on that ? why ?
Yejin : he is my boss now and i have to listen to him.
Yejin : The day that i broke my phone, i was so upset. do you know why ?
Yejin : I talked to Kevin and he said that he wasn't ever going to come home again.
Yejin : he was running away from Daeho and Donghyun (the loansharks).
Yejin : did you know how much that hurt me when he said that he wasn't coming home ?
Yejin : i thought about it that night and i said to myself that I had nothing left in my life,
Yejin : no one to care about me. i only have you, GOT7, and Mina.
Yejin : Kevin is gone and who knows when he'll be back.
Yejin : i don't know where my life would be.
Mark (*upset tone) : the reason you joined was because you needed comfort ?
Mark : you couldn't come to me for that ? why ?
Mark : i would be okay to be here with you and be together with you.
Mark : why don't you appreciate that Yejin-ah ?
Yejin : i do appreciate you and everyone being here by my side when i need you.
Yejin : but this isnt about comfort.
Yejin : you tell me, what was i suppose to do right after i graduate ? huh ?
Yejin : you think finding a job in producing and writing music would be easy ?
Yejin : its not that simple the way you look at it. to you, maybe it is.
Yejin : to me, i worked all of my life for this and here i am not knowing where and
Yejin : what i want to be. you make it sound so easy being you. for me, its not that easy.
Yejin : so what do you expect me to do about it ?
Yejin : I'm sorry i lied or didnt tell you about this but i had no choice to do so.
Mark : you did have a choice Yejin. its either yes or no, there is no complications there.
Mark : if you keep lying to me or GOT7 like this then
Mark : how are we suppose to trust each other in the future ?
Yejin : this was the first time i lied to you guys.
Mark : you admit it.
Yejin : yeah and I'm sorry. future ? you think there's a future involved ?
Mark (*says in an upset tone) : Fine.
Mark : if this is how its going to be then maybe we should take a break from all of this.
Yejin : your not.......
Mark (*says in Korean) : breaking up with you. I am and thats my choice.
Yejin : please Mark. I explained to you what happened, why can't you forgive me ?
Yejin : its just a small mistake.
Mark : its not. Don't ever come looking for me, i want to be alone.
Mark (*gives Yejin her present)
Yejin (*accepts it & asks) : what is it ?
Mark : you broke your phone the other day and i thought you needed a new one.
Mark : everyone's number is saved on there, call them if you need anything.
Yejin : is your number in there ?
Mark (*ignored & walked away)

Mark walked away leaving Yejin standing there calling out his name. She started to cry even more holding the present in her hand. She felt so bad for not telling Mark anything about the contract. Then she went back to school and class was starting to start. She walked into class ignoring everyone going to her seat which Mark was already in. He didn't even glance or look at Yejin even once. During dance class, everyone was practicing on the moves individually and Yejin was struggling to get the moves right. Everything was going through her head and she couldn't think straight at all. Thus with this, Yejin fell to the ground landing almost hurt. Everyone saw and was in shocked, even Mark was. He wanted to help her up but he then remembered again that he was mad at her for what she did so he just continued to practice more. Mina then helped Yejin go back on her feet and continue to practice more. Yejin took a few dance steps and stopped suddenly which made Mina stop too and asking her what was wrong with her.

Mina : whats wrong Yejin ? wasn't Mark the one who were suppose to help you up ?
Mina : i thought you were with him ?

After hearing Mina ask those questions, Yejin started to cry more and ran out of the gym holding her tears. Everyone was looking at Yejin leaving the gym and worried for her. Mark saw her and he did want to do something and run after her but it was too late. Jr. ran after Yejin to see what was wrong with her. Yejin stood against the wall outside of the gym and started to cry more. Jr. came to Yejin and asked…..

Jr. : Yejin, whats wrong ?
Yejin (*lays her head on Jr.'s shoulders & cries)
Jr. (*pats her head & says) : it okay, your brother is here.

Mark came outside of the gym and saw Jr. and Yejin together. He just stood there and looked at the both of them. Mark started to feel heartbroken towards Yejin and what he had said to her. Then Mark just went back into the gym to continue practicing. Then Jr. and Yejin came back in. After a long day at school, Yejin went straight to work not even saying goodbye to GOT7 or Mina. She felt like she didnt need to say goodbye to them despite being depressed all day. Yejin's work went by so fast and it was already [10PM]. Mark was worried about Yejin all day and he followed her to work afterschool with Yejin not knowing at all. He watched her work until she got out. Before closing the restaurant, Lady Song distributed the pay checks for that month to everyone and then Lady Song left home. Yejin was finishing up closing and locked the doors of the place and headed out. As she was standing on the side of the restaurant, she gave a call to Daeho. Mark was still there and watch over Yejin but she didnt know.

Yejin (*uses her new cellphone to call Daeho dialing the number on the business card)
Daeho (*picks up) : Hello ?
Yejin : Yes. Its me Yejin.
Daeho : Ohhh, Yejin-ah. What can i help you with ?
Yejin : I want to meet you right now at the convenience store near my work.
Yejin : is that okay with you ?
Daeho : i'll see you there Yejin.
Yejin : yes.

Yejin went straight to the convenient store and changed her paycheck into actual money. Her check was worth $2,000 US Dollars but Yejin had owed $10,000 US Dollars in debt over the years for Kevin. Mark followed her there and hide behind somewhere for her not to see him there. Then Yejin stood on the outside of the store, she took out the money that she traded in not long and combined it together leaving her with $7,000 US dollars all together. Thus, Yejin only needed $3,000 more dollars to pay off the whole debt to Daeho. Yejin stood there and put all the money she had in a envelope from her backpack and sealed it. Then she wrote on the front of the envelope how much is in it. Daeho finally came alone and walked towards Yejin asking her what she needed from him.

Daeho : what is this about Yejin ? why call me at 10 at night ?
Yejin (*hands him the envelope with money in it)
Daeho (*accepts it & asks) : what is it ?
Yejin : its all i have for now, $7,000 US Dollars.
Daeho (*looks at Yejin)
Daeho (*says) : you do know that you owe me $10,000 US Dollars in total.
Yejin : i know. I need a little more time for the last $3,000. Please.
Daeho : Alright. You have two weeks to get it to me.
Yejin : Yes, i understand.

Finally Daeho walked away. Yejin felt so relieved that he didnt hurt her when she gave him the money. Mark was shocked at what Yejin did and he wondered where she got the money to pay everything off. Then Yejin walked home and felt so tired after a long day. When Yejin went into the kitchen to get a glass of water, she heard her phone ring and she picked it up.

Yejin (*picks up phone) : Hello ?
Jr. : Yah, Yejin ! Did you forget that we have practice for the showcase today ?
Yejin (*puts her hand on her head & says) : Oh, im sorry. I just got off work.
Yejin : im coming right now. im sorry.
Jr. : Hurry !

Yejin quickly turned off the lights and closed the door to head out. She took a taxi to JYPE as fast as she could. When she made it to the company, she went to look for the room that GOT7 was in and went inside. They started to practice right away because it was getting late already. GOT7 and Yejin stayed in the practice room until morning. All of the GOT7 members fell asleep on the floor of the practice room at around [3AM]. Yejin was still awake and moved to the other room to practice by herself more. It was already [5AM] and she fell asleep on the couch in that room she was practicing in. Then Mark came into the room and slightly put a blanket on Yejin and giving her a kiss on her forehead as she was sleeping. She felt like someone kissed her in her dream but she didnt know who. Then Mark went back to the other room and went back to sleep.
