This Is My Life...

The next couple of weeks went by and it was already [MID November]. It was [Monday] and Annie woke up that morning to get to school. Before going to class, Annie was sitting on the bench outside to thinking about the surgery for her stomach and telling Mark about it. Some of GOT7 called her on her cellphone while she was sitting there but she didnt answer. So Mark was walking and saw Annie sitting there and came to her to talk to her and see her.

Mark (*walks over to Annie & says) : Annie ?
Annie (*in dreamland & snaps out of it) : Hey Mark.
Mark : what are you thinking about ?
Annie : Im not sure.
Mark : is this about the surgery ?
Annie : i dont know if i should do it or not.
Mark : i think you should and i want you to do it.
Annie : Kevin tells me the same thing.
Mark : you should.
Annie : what if i die from the surgery ? It sometimes happens.
Annie : if this is a success, then i would be a different person.
Mark : no your not. your just scared, why dont you say it ?
Annie (*freaks out) : i am scared.
Mark : calm down Yejin-ah.
Annie (*stands up)
Annie (*says) : im scared of everything thats going to happen for this surgery.
Mark (*turns away from Annie & says) : is that why your scared of telling me about JYP ?
Annie (*looks at his back & says) : what about JYP ?
Mark : About signing a contract with JYP, when were you going to tell me ?
Mark : i saw the contract in your backpack the other day when i sent you to the hospital.
Annie : I wasnt so sure about that and about this surgery.
Annie : besides, you wouldnt appreciate it if i joined JYP.
Mark (*turns towards face to face to Ailee & says) : Of course i want you to join JYP.
Mark : that way we can be together and not cause anything between us.
Mark : i cant believe you saw me this way Annie.
Annie : im sorry okay ?
Annie : why did you even go through my backpack ?
Mark : i tried to put your phone away when Kevin was calling you to come.
Mark (*angry tone but calm) : i cant believe you saw me this way Annie.
Annie : your upset because i didnt tell you about joining JYP ? thats it ?
Mark (*silence)
Annie : if your going to be upset about this,
Annie : then what happens when i tell you about everything else later on ?
Annie : i get it. (*walks away from Mark)
Mark (*looks at Annie leave & say) : Annie ! Annie ! Come back here !

Annie had walked away into the classroom. The rest of the GOT7 members and Mina were inside already looking at Annie walking in. Annie looked like she had been defeated and sat down at her desk. GOT7 and Mina were looking at Annie not making any sound. Then Mark walked into the room and sat next to Annie in his seat. Annie looked the other way and mind her own business and Mark looked the other way to his other side away from Annie. Then GOT7 and Mina saw it strange between the two. The guys already knew about Mark and Annie's relationship but they didnt know that they were mad at each other.

Annie (*sits in her seat looking the other way)
Mark (*sits in his seat with his arms crossed looking the other way)
JB (*to Mark & Annie) : whats wrong with you two ?
Jackson : yeah, why arent you two talking to each other ?
Jr. (*gasps & says) : did you two break up ?
Youngjae : Did you two fight with each other ?
BamBam : why is it so quiet ?
Yugyeom : whats the matter you two ?
Mina : what happened ?
Annie (*to GOT7) : Ask him (Mark), he was the one.
Mark (*to Annie facing her & says) : I wasnt the one, you were the one who didnt tell me.
Mark : so technically, its not my fault.
GOT7 & Mina (*looking at Annie & Mark back and forth while they argue)
Annie : you got mad because i didnt tell you about JYP. its not a big deal.
Mark : it is to most people.
Mina (*to Annie) : JYP ? what happened with JYP ?
Annie (*explains it to Mina) : JYP offered me a contract to join his Entertainment.
Mina (*to Annie) : and ? did you take it ?
Annie (*to Mina) : I have too much to worry about right now so im just thinking it over.
Mark : yeah, you have the surg........
Annie (*hears Mark & takes her hand & covers Marks mouth so he wouldnt speak)

GOT7 and Mina just sat there confusingly looking at both Mark and Annie. Then Annie whispered to Mark while covering up his mouth.

Annie (*whispers) : I dont want them to know yet, they might worry.
Annie (*whispers) : so please, dont tell them.
Annie (*lets go her hand from Mark's mouth)
Mark (*whispers) : why ? they will find out sooner or later.
Annie (*whispers & begs him) : please, i beg of you to not say a word.
Mark (*smirks & says) : Fine but are we even now ?
Annie (*slightly smiles & looks away) : whatever.
Mark (*leans over & looks at Annie & says) : you miss me, just say it.
Annie : no i dont. its been like 5 minutes, how can i miss you already ?
Mark (*smiles at Annie & says) : admit it, you miss me.
Mark (*looks the other way with his arms crossed again)
Annie (*does Aegyo to Mark hitting his arms) : Oppppppppaaaaa.
Mark (*slightly becomes happy & turns around to pinch Annie's cheeks)
Annie (*smiles)

Mina : thats more like it.
JB : I think we should all start practicing for the showcase that is a month away.
Jackson : yeah, do we even know what we're going to do ?
Jr. : why dont GOT7 perform one of our songs on our debut album ?
Youngjae : i like the song Follow Me and I Like You.
BamBam : i like those two songs too.
Annie : thats it ! GOT7 should perform those two songs mashup.
Annie : It would be a good performance.
Annie : for your solo's, you can do covers of other artists.
Yugyeom : the solo part doesnt apply to us.
Annie : why ?
Mina : because they are debuting soon and they dont need to.
Mina : the solos are only for those who havent debut yet.
Mina : its tells us where we head next.
Mina : thats whether you debut or train at the companies they choose you.
Mina : thats why its a big deal to those who havent debut yet like me, you and Jia.
Annie : Ah........... i see.
Annie : yeah, you should do that plan.
Mark : thats easy but what about our collaboration ?
Annie : We can do a mashup of Girls Girls Girls, Like Oh, and Hello.
Mark : you think we have enough time to put everything together ?
JB : yeah, there is only a month left.
Jackson : Annie has work and we have practices for our debut thats coming up.
Jr. : how are we going to do it all in time ?
Annie : Guys. whats my name ?
Youngjae : Annie ? Yejin ?
Annie : thats right. If i say we can do it then we can.
Annie : no matter how busy we are, we will always have time to practice.
Annie : This showcase is important. we have to put in time for each other.
Annie : that doesnt matter if i have work or not or you have practice.
Annie : we will make a schedule along the way but we need a place to practice.
BamBam : JYP Entertainment can be our practice place.
Annie : are you sure JYP wouldnt mind me there ?
Yugyeom : he wouldnt mind, he’ll let us.
Annie : Alright, lets get to work.

Then it was [9:00AM] and Mrs. Lee walked into the classroom with two other students. The students in the class stood up straight and looked at the three of them walk in. Mrs. Lee then introduced the class to the two new students.

Mrs. Lee : Class ! We have two new students who will be joining our class now.
Mrs. Lee (*to Minjee & Minjung) : Please introduce yourselves.
Minjee (*introduces herself to the class) : Hello, Im Kim Minjee-imida. (*smiles)
Youngjae (*stares at Minjee like he knows her)
Minjung (*introduces herself to the class) : Hello, Im Kim Minjung-imida.
Minjung : Its nice to meet you.
Minjung (*smiles with angelic smile)
BamBam (*looks at Minjung like he fell in love with her)
Mrs. Lee (*to the class) : Please welcome them to our school.
(*Everyone applauses to the two)
Mrs. Lee (*to Minjee & Minjung) : Please take your seats.

Both Minjee and Minjung bows to Mrs. Lee and goes to their seats. Minjee took a seat next to Youngjae next to this guy named Soryong. As Minjee was making her way to her seat, Youngjae kept on looking at her. Minjee just ignored him and kept walking. Minjung took a seat next to BamBam that was available. BamBam was so mesmerized with Minjung's angelic look and smile. Then the class started. Half way into English lecture, Annie was feeling a bit dizzy and rested her hand palm on her head for a bit to reduce the pain of the dizziness. Then when Mark saw, he grabbed Annie's hand under the table to see if she was okay. Then Annie looked to her left and saw Youngjae who was staring at Minjee instead of listening to the lecture. She felt something suspicious about Minjee and Youngjae. So couple of hours passed and it was finally [Break 12PM]. After Mrs. Lee had dismissed the class for break and lunch, everyone got up and left leaving Annie, GOT7, and Mina still sitting there. They all stood there talking and Annie asked Youngjae about Minjee.

Annie (*to Youngjae) : Are you okay ?
Youngjae : Ohhh, why ?
Annie : you look like you've seen a ghost when you saw Minjee earlier.
Annie : Did something happen ? Do you know her ?
Youngjae (*talks to Annie with the rest hearing)
Youngjae : Minjee was my childhood friend until i left her at Dongkee High School.
Annie : you left her there ? why ?
Youngjae : I left her 2 years ago when i was going into JYP and training for GOT7.
Youngjae : then i transferred here with GOT7.
Annie : you two were best friends ?
Youngjae : we were the best of friends. we basically grew up together.
Annie : why didnt you tell her ?
Mark : Everything was moving too fast and JYP wanted him to go in right away.
JB : Youngjae was the last member to train with us.
Youngjae : i left everything behind and including Minjee.
Youngjae : i didnt want to leave her and i really wanted to tell her that i left with a reason
Youngjae : and i didnt do it out of nowhere.
Annie : did you love her ? more than a friend ?
Jackson : he did. he was heartbroken when he left her and i bet she was too.
Jr. : yeah, we have never seen that side of Youngjae before.
Annie : why didnt you go back there and tell her that you left ?
BamBam : He couldnt. JYP didnt let us leave the company nor our houses, nowhere.
Yugyeom : all we did was train and train everyday.
Youngjae : I dont want to try anymore and besides, she might not even remember me.
Youngjae : I just dont understand why she transferred here.
Youngjae : maybe she knew that i was here and that she transferred with her sister.
Youngjae : its probably that or something else.
Youngjae : im just over thinking it.

Annie, GOT7, and Mina all walked down the halls to their lockers and just hanged out there. JB, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom had already walked together first. Annie, Mark, Jackson, and Jr. walked behind them talking with each other. When the four of them were walking out together and passed Minjee, Annie stopped causing the rest to stop with her. Minjee looked at Annie and Annie looked at her back.

Annie (*keeps looking at Minjee telling the rest) : You guys go ahead.
Annie : i want to talk to Minjee.
(*Mark, Jackson, and Jr. walked pass by Annie and Minjee)
Minjee (*asks Annie) : Your Yejin, right ?
Annie : Ohhh.

Annie and Minjee walked outside to a bench to talk.

Minjee : What did you want to talk to me about ?
Annie : Do you remember Choi Youngjae ?
Minjee (*pretends she doesnt know him & lies) : I dont know anyone with that name.
Annie (*figures Minjee lying & says) : I can tell your lying to me.
Annie : you remember him, do you ?
Minjee : He was my childhood best friend but he left me because something happened.
Annie : Do you recognized that guy who sat next you in class today ?
Annie : Do you think thats him ?
Minjee : i highly doubt it.
Annie : it is him, its Youngjae.
Minjee : what ?
Minjee : it looks like your close with the GOT7 members. why did he leave me then ?
Annie : he left because of JYP. he joined and trained with GOT7 two years ago.
Minjee : thats exactly when he left.
Annie : there was only to look forward, there was no turning back once he joined JYP.
Minjee : if he was really my best friend,
Minjee : he would do anything to come back and tell me why, why he left.
Minjee : he couldnt even tell his own best friend about joining JYP and leaving.
Minjee : what kind of best friend is that ?
Minjee : Do you know what happened a year after he left ?
Annie : what happened ?
Minjee : me and Minjung lost both of our parents in a horrible car accident.
Minjee : we lived alone together ever since then. its just the two of us here.
Annie : is that why you transferred to KJIA ? was to find Youngjae ?
Minjee : i thought we would change and everything would be okay.
Minjee : Minjung wanted to become an actress and i wanted to become an idol.
Minjee : we thought that coming here would change everything.
Minjee : so if Youngjae was really my best friend,
Minjee : he wouldve returned and found me again.
Minjee : he would tell me that everything will be okay and that we can stick together.
Annie : he loved you, thats what you didnt get.
Minjee : why does it matter anymore ?
Annie : he loved you enough to not return because he was afraid you'd be worried.
Minjee : i was worried. i even went looking for him myself after school everyday.
Minjee : Do you know how hard i looked ?
Annie : it means that you still care for him.
Minjee : of course i do. why wouldnt i ?
Annie : why are you pretending that you dont know him when you do ?
Minjee : its better to forget and move on.
Annie : you never loved him once ? more than a friend ?
Minjee : i did love him but then i realized that he was really gone,
Minjee : completely out of my life.
Minjee (*suspicious & asks) : Did Youngjae tell you to come talk to me ?
Annie : No. I came because i care about him and all of the GOT7 members.
Minjee : Just because your boyfriend is in GOT7,
Minjee : doesn't mean you have to care for everyone.
Minjee : Maybe you should care for yourself first before anything.
Annie (*comes toward to face Minjee)
Annie (*says) : You might want to reconsider what you said.
Annie : Im not here to force you to explain to Youngjae your feelings.
Annie : Neither of us wants to get hurt, now do we ?
Annie : so rethink about what you said about Youngjae and he does care for you.

After talking to each other, Annie walked away to get back with GOT7 and Mina at the cafeteria. While Minjee was standing there in the hall, Jia came over to Minjee to talk to her and warn her about the school.

Jia : Hey new girl. (*walks over to Minjee)
Minjee (*looks over to Jia & says) : It's Minjee by the way.
Jia : dont be all nice.
Minjee : what do you want ?
Jia : if i were you, i would stay away from Yejin and her friends.
Minjee : why ? Is it a problem for you if i become their friends ?
Jia : Yejin already caused enough damage by coming here and
Jia : we dont need you to interfere.
Minjee : harsh, much ?
Jia : im warning you, stay away from GOT7.

Jia walked away after warning Minjee and Minjung came over to Minjee to talk to her about their first day.

Minjung : Unnie..
Minjee : Minjung-ah. what are you still doing here ?
Minjung : i wanted to see where you were.
Minjee : i had to talk to a friend.
Minjung : you made a friend already ? its barely the first day.
Minjee : you can say that.
Minjung : who was that girl earlier ?
Minjee : its not important but if you see her around school, be careful of her. okay ?
Minjung : okay.
Minjee : lets go eat lunch, okay ?
Minjung : okay.

Minjee and Minjung went to the cafeteria to eat lunch. When Annie went to the cafeteria, she didnt see her friends so she just went back outside where the table benches were and saw there. While Annie was sitting there, she got a phone call from Mark.

Annie (*cellphone rings & picks it up) : Hello ?
Mark : Where are you Annie ?
Annie : Im at the table benches outside.
Mark : alright, we'll be there soon.

After hanging up the phone, Annie sat there and opened up her backpack. She saw the contract envelope sitting there in her backpack and she opened the envelope up to see the contract. While looking through the contract, she felt the need to call JYP Entertainment to schedule a meeting date with JYP to talk to him. So Annie picked up her phone again and called the Entertainment.

(*Phone rings & JYP Front Desk Person picks up)
Sooyoung : Hello, Im Sooyoung. This is JYP Entertainment, how can i help you today ?
Annie : Hello. I was wondering if i can speak with JYP in person.
Sooyoung : Are you planning to speak with him over the phone or in person ?
Annie : in person. I have a contract i want to talk to him about.
Sooyoung : you must be Lee Yejin, right ?
Annie : yes, Im Lee Yejin Annie.
Sooyoung : He wants you to speak with him in person if you have time.
Annie : Yes, i understand.
Sooyoung : I can schedule you an appointment with him.
Annie : yes, please.
Sooyoung (*looks up the computer & says) : Are you available tomorrow at 12PM ?
Annie : Yes, i am.
Sooyoung : Then we have you in the system for tomorrow at 12PM.
Sooyoung : just come with the contract and any questions for JYP,
Sooyoung : he shall answer them.
(*GOT7 & Mina comes towards Annie & sits down in front of her)
Annie (*sees her friends & gives a signal of one minute)
Annie (*to the lady) : thank you.

Then Annie hanged up the phone and went back to her friends. GOT7 and Mina asked Annie who she was talking to but Annie lied to them that she was talking to an important friend of hers. She didnt feel like it was time to tell them about joining JYP yet so she lied to them and they actually believed her.

Mark : who was that on the phone ?
Annie (*lies) : it was my friends from California.
Mark (*suspicious of her lying & looks at her)
JB : how are your friends back home ?
Annie : their fine. they have exams to take.
Jackson : Exams doesnt seem fun at all.
Jr. (*jokes around with Jackson) : thats because you never tried and always fall asleep.
Youngjae : what school year are your friends right now ?
Annie : they are both in college now, first year.
BamBam : Will they be visting any time soon ?
Annie : i dont know.

Annie (*cellphone rings in the middle of talking to the guys & looks at the caller ID)
Annie (*see's Eric's caller ID & picks it up) : Hello ?
Kevin : Hey Annie.
Annie : Hey, whats up ?
Kevin : My boss wants me to stay over at the restaurant so i can open up for them.
Kevin : I have to be here every morning to open up if i want that money for the rent.
Annie : how long are you staying there for ?
Kevin : a month or so.
Annie : so it could be more than a month ?
Kevin : yeah. i'll call you when i get back, take care of yourself.
Kevin : Go to school and work and stay out of trouble, okay ?
Annie : no promises.
Kevin : Annie, please.. Im doing the best i can to help us survive.

Annie (*stands up from the benches & walks over to the other side to talk to Kevin)
Annie : it makes me think that your doing this for you, not us.
Kevin : i am and im trying, trust me.
Annie : i dont think i can.
Annie : Do you even know who hurt me the other night when i went to the hospital ?
Kevin : i know, its was Daeho and Donghyun.
Annie : Exactly why i cant stay by myself. Why are they after me instead of you ?
Annie : your the one who owed them debt, not me.
Kevin : They know that you have the money in hand and their after you, not me.
Annie : is that why your not coming home ? because your afraid they might find you ?
Kevin : i have to not be insight for the next month or so.
Kevin : this can get worse day by day Ailee.
Kevin : I will send the money home to you once i have enough, right now i dont.
Kevin : so for now, work until you can.
Annie : i have something to tell you if you were here.
Kevin : what is it ? you can tell me now over the phone.
Annie (*hesitates) : I got...........................
Kevin (*hears his boss calling him in the background)
Kevin (*tells Annie) : I have to go back to work.
Kevin : i'll talk to you later when i can. Everything will be okay, trust me.

Kevin hung up the phone and Annie hung up too. Mark stood on the side to see if Annie was okay talking to her brother. After hanging up, she felt in so much anger that she hasnt felt before and she threw her phone on the ground in front of her shoe. Her phone fell into pieces, the front shattered in glass and it didnt turn on. Annie felt so much anger and sat down on the bench crying her eyes out and she couldnt believe that Kevin would do this to her. She never felt so hurt before in her life. It was the worse feeling in the world. Then Mark came to Annie and picked up her phone pieces to lay it on the bench next to her. Annie didnt say a word and stood back up grabbing her phone to put in the trash can. Then she walked back over to her friends at the table and grabbed her backpack. While grabbing her backpack, she told the others that she was going to the garden to walk around.

Mark (*follows Annie back behind her)
GOT7 & Mina (*looks at Annie worried)
Annie (*walks back to the table & gets her backpack)
Annie (*says) : im going to take a walk in the garden.
Mina (*asks Annie) : Are you okay ?
Yugyeom (*smiles & says) : We'll come with you !
Annie : No, i want to be alone.

Annie left walking by herself to the garden. Mark just stood there watching Annie leave and telling the others.....

Mark : Im going to see if she's okay. Just go back to class when lunch is over.
