I'll be your light

He pulls the mask over and off his head and drops it on the floor. He looks Melinda straight in the eyes, which are filled with tears. “Yukwon?” she gasps softly. The man can’t hear her over his loud laughter. “The man from before!” his voice booms around the hallway. “Who would have guessed you are a BLOCK B member?” he laughs again. While the man is having his little moment of bliss, Melinda feels awful. She feels nauseous and confused, she feels angry and sad. Such a big secret has just been exposed. The man finally stops laughing. “This is too good to be true.” He says. Yukwon has just remembered about the gun in his hand, he lifts it up and points it at the man. The man snickers. His big fingers wrap around Melinda’s throat and threaten to squeeze the air out of her. He holds the gun to her temple. "Put down the gun or I'll blow her brain out." He snickers. Yukwon stands frozen, not knowing what to do. The gun feels heavy in his hand, weighing down to the earth, like it wants to obey the man. He looks at Melinda in the eyes to try and read her. Her eyes show fear but her body stays firm. She slowly shakes her head. Yukwon thinks of alternative options. He can try to shoot for the man's head, but his chances of accidentally hitting Melinda are high. "What are you thinking? Don't be doing any funny stuff. The slightest pressure on my fingers can kill her." The man likes having the upper hand. Yukwon sighs. He lays the gun on the floor and puts his hands in the air. "Now let her go." Yukwon says. The evil man sneers. Melinda screams at him, but it's too late. Yukwon feels a sharp pain in his head and his face meets the floor. Images spin in his eyes, dizziness fills his head. Everything turns black.

"Yukwon." He hears. "Yukwon." That's Melinda's voice. "Yukwon!" He wakes to her voice. "Melinda?" He searches around for her. "I'm behind you." She says. They are tied to each other, back to back with ropes. Ropes also bind their hands behind their back, and their ankles together. "What happened?" he groans as he regains consciousness. "Someone snuck up behind you and hit you in the head." Melinda responds. "Are you OK?" He asks. "Have they done anything to you?" All he feels is panic for her safety. He feels her shake her head. "They just dragged me here and knocked me out before tying me to you." She says quietly. "How did they knock you out?" "They hit me in the head with the barrel of the gun, like you." "Is your head OK?" "It's fine." He grabs her hands and squeezes them. "I'm sorry Melinda." He says sadly. "I'm sorry you had to find out this way, that I am a BLOCK B member." Melinda doesn't reply for a while. “I honestly wanted to think you were playing a prank. That you were just wearing a clown mask to.. I don’t know.” She honestly doesn't know what to say. She has always thought BLOCK B were terrible, but to find out one of your friends is a member? It makes her mind numb.

The man opens the door to the room which holds Melinda and Yukwon. He looks at the pitiful hostages and clicks his tongue mockingly. "A BLOCK B member." He laughs. "I never thought I would get to capture one." He grabs Yukwon chin and inspects his face. "Good looking." He whispers. Yukwon jerks his face away and glares at him. He snickers and moves towards Melinda. He grabs hold of her chin, examining her too. "Beautiful." He gasps. "Don't touch her." Yukwon spits. "What are you going to do if I do?" The man asks mockingly. He reaches over to Melinda and fondles with her breast. She screams and tries to push away. "I said don't touch her!" Yukwon shouts. The maniac laughs like a madman. Two men then come into the room, holding a wooden chair. "Took you long enough." The man says in a bored tone. “Sorry Donghyuk.” One of the men says. He unties the rope that tied Yukwon and Melinda together, he secures Melinda while the two men remove all of Yukwon's upper body clothes and fasten him to the chair. "Now you will tell me all you know." Donthyuk says standing in front of Yukwon. "No." Yukwon says flatly. The two men stand beside Yukwon, no one pays any attention to Melinda who sits in the corner of the room. "You will tell me everything about BLOCK B. I will get the information out of you." Donghyuk says with confidence. When Yukwon refuses to say anything, Donghyuk commands the two other men to best the life out of him. Melinda whimpers and closes her eyes. "Will you tell me now?" he asks with a wild smile. Yukwon's face is bruised and blistered, but he doesn't even flinch. "You have to try harder than that." He mocks. Donghyuk's maniac smile doesn't drop. He enjoys torture, he is what people call a sadist. "If you wish." He says. He takes out a small knife which he hides in his belt and removed it's sheath. He takes the tip of the blade and presses it into Yukwon's arm tied to the arm of the chair. Blood oozes out of his skin but Yukwon shows no sign of pain. "You're a tough one aren't you?" Donghyuk asks with a menacing chuckle. He cuts him again, on his upper arm. Yukwon lets out a long sigh. "You're wasting your time Donghyuk, I'm never going to talk no matter how much you torture me. I won't talk even if it means my life." He says confidentially. The sadist punches Yukwon in the face, but then he raises one eyebrow and smiles. "Your life?" He asks. He walks over to the forgotten Melinda sitting silently in the corner, drags her across the floor and dumps her at Yukwon's feet. "No..." Yukwon gasps softly. Donghyuk grabs her hair and pulls it upwards, forcing her to look at Yukwon. "What about if it means her life?" he asks while licking his lips. Yukwon can see Melinda shaking uncontrollably, fear and anxiety spreading to every inch of her body. Paralysing her. Donghyuk brings his small knife up to her chin and gently follows it down her neck. Imitating his perception of her death. She flinches when the blade touches her collarbone. "So what will it be BLOCK B member? Will you tell me everything now?" He laughs. Yukwon is defeated. He knows he shouldn't say anything, but he can't risk Melinda's safety. "Put the knife down and I'll talk." Yukwon says cautiously. He sighs sadly. "BLOCK B - " he starts, but he is interrupted by a loud bang. The door flies open, Donghyuk turns around, still grasping onto Melinda. Yukwon is relieved when he sees six clowns standing in the doorway. "Is back." Zico says.
