My Peter Pan

Chapter Five

For Yuna, Saturday afternoon couldn't come quick enough. Even though her parents insisted on talking to Chen before they left, she was beyond excited.
She dressed casually in a light blue tank and pale pink shorts. She wore minimal makeup, flip flops snug on her feet.
Ding.
Yuna's heart seemed to jump into her throat as she heard her father greet Chen at the door, not bothering with English. Chen replied back with equally fluent Korean, and she could imagine her father's satisfied smile.
Smiling slightly, she made her way downstairs and peeked around the corner, finding Chen easily. He sat on the couch, listening to her parents tell him what time she had to be home by, and what would happen if she came home harmed.
Yuna took the chance to check his outfit, making sure she wasn't too casual. He wore a light blue tee, paired with black shorts and black converse. His hair was messy, as usual, but covered slightly by his snap-back.
A small smile lit up her face when his eyes wandered slightly and found hers. Smiling back, he stood up and said, "Hey you. Ready to go?"
Yuna nodded happily, waving to her parents slightly. "Bye!" She followed Chen out the door and smiled when she noticed his car. He usually didn't use it, so the amusement park had to have been fairly far away.

"We're here."
Yuna looked up. Right in front of her were rides she hadn't ridden in a long time, some of them she hadn't dreamed of riding.
Excitement bubbled up inside of her, and she scrambled out of the car.
Chen laughed and got out, rounding to her side. "You're cute, you know that?" he murmured, grabbing her hand.
Yuna blushed, smiling shyly. "I'm just excited."
Chuckling, he pulled her to the ticket stand and bought a 'free ride bracelet' for both of them, turning to the rides. "Which one do you want to try first?"
Yuna examined them. She wanted to try all of them, but one stood out the most. "The roller coaster."

Lay watched Chen and Yuna from afar, jealousy taking hold of him. He jammed his french fry into ranch, catching Luhan's attention.
"Dude, what's wrong with you? You're acting like you want to murder the fries.." he muttered.
Lay pursed his lips and looked away from Yuna and Chen. "Nothing."
Rolling his eyes, Luhan scanned the crowd where Lay had been watching, finding the two teens easily. "You're jealous," he stated, amusement clear in his eyes.
Lay narrowed his. "I am not."
Luhan smirked. "Then why did I have to come here with you?"
"Because Chen asked Yuna before I could...Whatever."
Luhan laughed. "Well, since it's obvious Chen's already made a move, just wait to see how it turns out."
That was the last thing Lay wanted to do. To be honest, he hated the idea of Yuna dating Chen. He had nothing against his friend, but he liked Yuna. A lot. "Fine.." He stole one last glance at the two, watching as Chen placed his black snap-back on Yuna's head.

Yuna wasn't sure what her favorite part of the day was; riding on the roller coaster, feeling like she was on top of the world with Chen on the Ferris wheel, Chen winning her a big, fluffy teddy bear, or now. They were lying on a blanket, waiting for the promised firework show to start.
Shivering slightly, Yuna shifted closer to Chen, resting her head on his chest and lazily draping her arm over his waist.
The movement didn't go unnoticed by Chen, and neither did her shiver. Smiling slightly, he pulled the blanket over her. "It should start soon," he murmured, feeling her smile.
Yuna sighed patiently, not minding the position she was in. To be honest, it was comfortable. Within seconds, she began dozing off.
Boom.
Yuna jumped, her eyes flashing open. She looked up at the sky, smiling when she saw the fireworks.
Chen, on the other hand, was watching Yuna with amusement in his eyes. "Do you want to go home?" he murmured.
Yuna yawned. "Only if you don't mind," she mumbled sleepily.
Chen smiled. The amusement park showed the same fireworks every year, so missing them once wouldn't bother him. "Okay. Come on then, sleepy head."
Yuna smiled slightly and stood up, helping Chen with the blanket and followed him to the car. Almost as soon as her head hit the headrest, she was out like a light.

Chen glanced over at her when he settled down in the driver's seat, chuckling. She was adorable. Perfect, really.

By Monday afternoon, everyone at school had heard the rumors of Chen dating Yuna. They'd started sitting together instead of across from one another during lunch hours, and whispered among one another often.
Baekhyun tried hard not to be bothered by it. To him, it seemed obvious that Yuna didn't like him the way he liked her, something he was having a hard time getting over.
Lay, on the other hand, was far more affected by it than Baekhyun. Considering he had to spend more time with Chen and Yuna than Baekhyun did, his jealously level was way up. Every time Chen smiled at Yuna, he wanted to hit something. Especially when Yuna smiled back with the same amount of affection.
Groaning, he dug into his meal, feeling absolutely miserable. They had just a few more weeks before the dance competition here at the school, and possibly one at a mall, but for the first time, he didn't feel up to it. Sighing, he got up and dumped his food, leaving for his next class, though the bell hadn't gone off yet.

"Okay everybody. How many have your dance down?"
Yuna, Chen, and Lay raised their hands with only a handful of others.
Ms. Abbott pursed her lips. "How many of you are in perfect sync?"
Half of the handful dropped their hands, including Yuna, Chen, and Lay.
"You have two weeks...remember? We need to work hard, especially if you want to enter that dance competition. I trust that you are practicing at least three times a week with one another."
The class murmured in agreement, and Ms. Abbott nodded. "Okay..class dismissed."

Hey guys!
idk if you're still waiting for more chapters (bless your souls if you are), but I'm moving My Peter Pan to my new account, as Google is no longer a valid option as a way to sign in, I have (as a result) lost this account :3 this story will be revised a bit, but I will try my best to continue it ^_^

@Bambii
You can always change something. It may take time to think. As an author of the story, you can control anything. :)

@My_Lover_Lay
omg you're too nice :3 the plot is literally all over the place though, and it's making writing it really difficult (hence the informal hiatus) :3

@Angiet0903
uhhhhh...she's her own character though? :3 unless you meant who she was supposed to be with?
In the middle of writing this story, my bias changed from Chen to Yixing, which wasn't very helpful :3 but um yeah..by the last chapter I've written (Twelve) she's with Lay, though she was with Chen for a while~

I'm confused I read all of it but
who is she supposed to be Chen or Lay
