I looked at Luhan who was sitting in the other side of table. He was reading a newspaper while his other hand was feeding himself.
"People usually read newspapers in the mornings, not at dinner table" I finally said. Why does he want to know some old news which are about one day ago?
"I was busy this morning, I could not read it then." He said as he fold the newspaper and put it beside him on the table.
"Where are the maids?"I asked.
"They're off tomorrow"
"So where are they now?" I asked as I looked at him.
"They are off since tonight to tomorrow afternoon"
"Are they all off together?" I asked.
"You see." He said.
"You mean you and I are the only ones here?" I asked with my wide eyes.
he looks up at me "Yes, Why?"
"It is so scary, such a big house without anybody living in." I said as I looked around scared. Yes, this house was spooky even when It was full of people!
"Are you looking for a ghost?" He asked as he followed my sight.
"No, I don't believe in ghosts." I lied. I believe in ghosts so badly and it is all those horror movies fault.
"So what?"
"Nothing" I continued eating.
He smirked and went to eat his food.
"You smirked, didn't you?" I asked seriously.
"I did. But don't worry. No ghost has captured me. I'm myself, I swear!"
"Not because of that. You have no plan to scare me, right?" I asked frightened.just the thought of being scared sent shiver down my spine.
"What? Am I a child?" He yelled.
"You are just unpredictable" I whispered.
He stood up "I'm done"
"Where are you going? You can't leave me alone here!" I said as I stood up.
"You can come up with me if you are scared" He said simply.
"But I need to do the dishes"
"You don't need to, the maids will do them later"
"No No No, I will do them and you will wait here till I finish them!" I yelled.

I rolled once more in my bed to look at the ceiling. It was the third night that that damn insomnia did not let me sleep. And tonight my mind was full of stuff.
How I end up here? Who thought this can even happen?
I am studying in an Art university.I'm not forced to study what my parents like. I'm living a wish I always have had. Although it was not free.In exchange, I'm gonna marry my oldest enemy in the next 2 months and I can't change it. It's too late to do that. Because now even if I want, even if my parents want, even if Luhan wants, my heart doesn't want to end this. That's shocking how my heart has placed one's love inside itself while no other part of me did that. I knew this the first time when my heart beat fast when I saw Luhan's smiling. My heart must be crazy. It has started to love somebody that I don't even like! If my heart knew how foolish this is, it would never fall for Luhan. The worst part of it is that this stupid hear belongs to me!
I sighed and rolled to my left side. I looked at the shadow of me in the mirror which was facing me. I heard footsteps coming up the staircase. It was probably Luhan going to his room. He never sleeps early. I wonder how he wakes up soon in the morning?
I heard the click of my door. Why should Luhan come to my room without knocking? He is not that kind of person.
the thought of this made me look at the mirror which was facing my bed and the door behind me. My eyes widened in terror when I saw that scene I saw in the mirror.
A figure with a black mask all over it's face was behind that door. It looked around in the room then closed the door behind quietly.
I was frozen in my bed. My heart was beating in fear and all my body got cold as ice in a moment. My brain could not recognize anything. What was it? Was it a ghost? Was it a thief? Was it even real or it was my imagination? Am I being illusory for lack of sleep?
I heard the footsteps again. I hold my breath so that I can listen better. It was real and I was not sleeping.
I stood up immediately. All I could do was to tell Luhan that there is somebody here. Maybe a thief who knows there is few people here tonight!
I went to the door with shaking feet. I wanted to turn the knob down but I stopped. What if there is somebody behind the door? What if it knows I'm awake?
I walked far from the door. I stood quiet to hear every little noise. There were no more footsteps but that could not change anything. I needed to tell Luhan about that before it was too late.
I went to the window and opened it quietly. Luhan's window was just 2 meters far from mine and well, the windows both were about 10 meters up from the the ground.I looked behind at the door. I don't know why but it did not feel true to go to Luhan's through the hall.
I clung to the frame of the window and stood on the edge of the down side. I grabbed the furthest bricks I could reach with my right hand and found a place for my right bare foot on the wall. my other hand moved to an other brick. My fingertips were hurting. I went to Luhan's window. When my foot touched the side of his window frame I sighed in relief. It was a long time that I didn't climb and it felt so scary being between ground and sky.
I opened his window and went in while I was rubbing my fingertips. I sat on the edge of Luhan's bed. He was sleeping peacefully in his bed. He with his messy bed hair was like a sleeping angel in the moon light.
I shake him slowly "Luhan wake up!" I whispered.
He did not move. I shook him faster."Luhan wake up. It is not the time to sleep!"
"Five more minutes mom, it's weekend!" He mumbled with his morning voice.
"I'm not Mrs.Lu. Wake up Luhan, this is serious!!" I whispered again.
He opened his eyes slightly and looked around then at me "What the hell do you want this time in the night?" he said annoyed.
"Somebody is downstairs, come on Luhan there is somebody downstairs!" I yell whispered.
"It's the maids, why are you saying this to me?" He said as he turned to his other side.
"You said there is no maid here! Luhan I'm serious. I saw him. Luhan please believe there is somebody here." I turned Luhan to face to me.
He was too annoyed "You were dreaming. Go to sleep or I'll kick yo-"
"Sh-shhh. Listen." I put my finger to my lips. He went quiet.
There were little noise coming from downstairs. As if somebody was sawing some metal off.
Luhan's eyes widen as he sat on his bed immediately.We were both silent listening to the noise.
"What is this?" Luhan asked looking around with his eyes. He frowned a little.
"They are downstairs! Luhan do something." I begged.
"They?" He asked.
"The step sounds were for more than one. Come on Luhan, I saw one of them."
He looked at me then stood up "Stay here!"
"Where are you going?" I asked as I stood up.
"You stay here and lock the door behind. Stay here until I come back. Okay? Just stay here!" He went to the door.
"Are you stupid? You want to be killed by them? What do you think you can do? We can call the police or - "
He opened the door. "Come and lock the door behind" He ordered.
"I will go with you" I went to the door.
"Didn't hear what I said? LOCK THE DOOR BEHIND" He said angrily. I was frozen for a moment until he closed the door. I obeyed what he said. I locked the door and stood in the same place. What if something happens to him?

I was walking back and forth in Luhan's room. My heart was beating crazily. It had been 10 minutes since he went but there were no sound, no voice and even no gun shot!
I could not stand it anymore. I went to the door and unlocked it. The hall was empty. I slowly walked down the stairs.There was no sound at all, every where was silent.
I reached downstairs. The lights were all on. Where is Luhan?
I went to the room where I guess Luhan had gone first. It was a good guess .Luhan was there.
"What are you doing?" I asked as I looked at the Luhan who was sitting in a sofa in Mr.Lu's home office.
"They had gone when I arrived"
I looked around the room. It was a mess. There were papers all over the floor. The safe was open and empty.
"What were they looking for?" I asked as I went inner. My hands were still shaking in horror.
"Some documents that they couldn't find."
"They couldn't? How do you know?"
"My father doesn't keep his documents at home" He said as he stood up."I told you to stay there, why did you come down?"
"I thought they have killed you" I said honestly.
He smiled and sat beside Mr.Lu's desk. He was just so relaxed and normal as if nothing has happened. He called people that I didn't know them. All I did was looking around the room to see how a crime scene looks like.
Finally Luhan was done."Go and pack your things, you can't stay here anymore." He said as he stood up.
I hesitated.how could I go up alone? What if one of them was still there?
"What are you waiting for?" He asked.
"W-will you come with me upstairs?" I asked.
He looked at me "Let's go" He said and went out of the room. I followed him.
While I was cramming my things in my backpack Luhan was sitting on my bed looking at me.
"You said you saw one of them."he said.
"Oh~ I was lying on my bed when a figure opened my door. I saw him in the mirror. He was wearing a black mask over his face."
He looked at the mirror and the door for a few times. "It must be so scary!" he commented.
"It was terrifying!"I said.
"How did you come to my room? You must be scared then"
"I climbed to your window from mine!"
"What?" he screamed."You what?"
"I was not that stupid to go to the hall, where they surely were. The only way was climbing!"
The doorbell rang. He stood up and followed him down as I was hugging my backpack.
"Hyung, are you fine? Did they hit you?" A cute boy asked Luhan once he opened the door.
"Yes, no" Luhan said."Will you drive Moon Ri to her friend's, Sehun-ah?"
So he was that famous Sehun! The best friend of Luhan.
"Ya, I forgot that she was here too" He looked at me with wide eyes. "Are you fine?"
I nodded my head. He again turned to Luhan "So what are you going to do?"
"The police will be here soon, I called Mr.park too. Let's see what is stolen." He said as he pushed me gently to the door.
"Okay. Go with Sehun, hm?" He said as if I'm a scared child and he is being nice. That beast.
Sehun and I went to his car. Luhan was still looking at us.
