"Moon-Ri-ah, wake up darling." A warm hand patted my back. I opened my eyes slightly and looked at the person who was sitting beside me. It was mom.
"Mom, is it you or am I dreaming?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes.
"It is me honey"
"You must be in China now. You can't be her!" I said as I found myself in Sam's room.
"We flew back last night, Mrs and Mr Lu needed to be here about that robbery" She said.
"Oh that's right!" I said while I again closed my eyes. "What time is it?" I asked
"It is 7 in the morning. Come on wake up. We are going home." She said.
I jerk myself to sit on the bed but a sharp pain in my back stopped me.
"Uhhhh" I groaned in pain as I again laid on the bed.
"What was that?" Mom asked.
"My back is hurting." I rubbed my back. "It is because I climbed to Luhan's window last night"
"What? You did what?" She yelled.
"I didn't have any other choice!" I moaned.
"You knew that you must not climb and you still did? Have you forgotten what happened 2 years ago?" She yelled again as she helped me sit up on the bed.
"There is no need to remind that, accidents happen!" I said as I bite my lower lip in pain. My back was hurting like shit but I could not even groan. It would just make mom more worried.
"It was not an accident. It was all my fault because I let you do that stupid climbing thing from the first. You would never fall down from that rock if I didn't let you climb!" She said angrily.
"Okay you're right. Let's not talk about that." I said bored.She would continue blaming me if I didn't stop that.
"What now? Why did you climb when you knew this would happen?" She asked as she hold my arm to help me stand up.
"It was about that robber-uhhhh" I groaned in pain. Sam came up because of the noise and helped mom to keep me up.
"Ya, what's wrong? Do you have pain?" Sam asked.
"I'm okay, you can let go of me." I said and afterward they both let go of my arms carefully. I went to the bathroom slowly. They followed me. "I'm really fine!" I said as I opened the door of the bathroom and went in.
"So why did you come here Mom?" I asked as I closed the door. I was not fine at all. I was going to fall on the floor in any minute. I went to the sink and leaned to the wall.
"Can't I meet my daughter after 3 days?" Mom answered from the room. Of course she can but she never came to see me at Sam's after she had gone to a trip. It was clear that she wanted something from me.
"Why not." I said as I robbed my back. I turned the water knob and let the water sound fill the whole bathroom.
"Moon Ri-ah?" Mom yelled. That's it! She wants something and I'm curious to death to know what that is this time!
"Yes mom?"
"The Lu's would like to..." That's again about the Lu's! I must have guessed that. "The Lu's would like to know if you can go to see some of their relatives" She said.
"Relatives? Why?" I cut off the water to hear everything better.
"It is customary in their family that their daughter-in-law meets the old relatives."
What the hell? Custom? Old relatives?
"When?" I asked as I sat on the edge on the bath tub.
"If you leave here now, you will be there tomorrow morning maybe," She said "By car of course"
"What?" I yelled "Today? I have not slept for 3 damn nights and it is 7 in the morning!"
"Honey I think this trip is more important than sleeping." She said. I went to the door and opened it.
"Mom are you serious? What about that robbery?" I asked.
"Mr.Lu will take care of that. You and Luhan are going." She said. An idea came in my mind. What better than using my backache?
"But my ba-" I was cut off by mom.
"Good thing your back was not serious. If it were, you would have to go to the hospital instead of that trip."
"Hospital?" I asked feeling disappointed. I'd rather die but not to spend a night in the hospital.
"Yes, you would have to go the hospital. But seriously, are you fine?" She asked.
"U-uh,I'm so fine!"

I opened the door of Luhan's car and sat on the passenger seat gently not to hurt my back. I did not bother to fasten my seat belt. I was too drowsy to!
Luhan sat on the driver seat after a little talking to my parents. They were standing in front of the door. I faked a smile at Mom and Dad who were waving in farewell. Luhan started the engine. "Fasten your seat belt!" He ordered.
I was not going to fasten it. To be honest, I never fasten my seat belt. It is just that I never get used to that. But just then, the scene of the kiss that Luhan and I shared that night sent shiver down my spine. The reason of that kiss was just my seat belt.
I swallowed my saliva and fastened my seat belt quickly. I saw Luhan smirking at my reaction. Hell! He was thinking about the same thing, you bet!
as soon as he drove of the yard, I made myself comfortable on the seat and closed my eyes. I knew that I can not sleep but my eyes were watery and red thanks to lack of sleep and hell, I was not going to sleep in the next few days either.
After some minutes Luhan looked at me. My eyes were closed but I could feel that. "Are you sleeping?" He asked.
"Yes" I answered.
"I see." He said as he turned the radio down. How nice! He was in his nice mood probably.
"What relatives are they?" I asked still keeping my eyes closed.
"The grandmother of my cousin, the uncle of my grand mother's sister-in-law, the husband of the cousin of that uncle." He said "That's a little strange, I know!"
"Mustn't your family be in China?"
"They are just like us, living in Korea"
"Are they so old?" I opened my eyes in excitement and turned my head to look at him "Are their hairs white? Do they carry canes?"
"How childish!" He laughed.
"I just wanted to know who I am going to see." I looked away again and closed my painful eyes.
"The color of their hair won't help you. There is another thing you have to know about them" He said.
"What?" I asked as I stayed calm, inside curious to know what that is.
"It is that they won't let me marry a girl whom they don't like."
"What?"I asked shocked.
"It means we will not get marry if you do not behave nicely!" He said.
An idea came right into my mind.It was a chance to end everything. Such a chance just needed a little more information to make a brilliant plan. I would easily get rid of this Luhan if I just seem a little annoying in their old relatives opinion. I smiled.
"What is called nice in their opinion?" I asked as I opened my eyes again.
"What matters is not their criteria, but-"
"But what?" I asked curiously.
"But you'd better not try to act unpleasantly." He said as he looked at me.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because I am the criteria of them." He smirked as he looked away.
