Things between Leo and I returned back to normal. He continued to walk me home and he got a bit jealous when he saw me hanging out with Sehun or Luhan from time to time. I made a clear line between Sehun and I, and I told him that I wasn’t interested. I told him that I liked someone else. He accepted it, but he still said he wasn’t going to give up. I was helpless, what was I meant to do? Although things between Leo and I had returned to normal, my feelings for him didn’t go back to normal. I started to fall for Leo even more. I couldn’t help it. Every time I thought of him, I blushed like a mad woman. Every time I saw him, butterflies flittered in my stomach uncontrollably. Every time I talked to him, my mind went blank. Every time I touched him, I couldn’t help but want more. But of course, I was too embarrassed. Not embarrassed of him, oh heck no. I was embarrassed he probably didn’t like me back. There was a big possibility that he didn’t like me back. He was a famous idol, and I was…a small schoolgirl. Part of me thought and hoped that maybe, just maybe, Leo liked me back.

One day, I received a pleasant surprise. “Hey Melinda! Long time no see!” smiled Hyuk. “Hyuk!” Without thinking I tackled him with a hug. “It’s been so long since I’ve seen you.” I smiled back.
“Leo isn’t here to pick you up today, so I filled in for him.” He smiled cutely. “It’s been so long. I can’t remember the last time we walked home together.” I exclaimed.
“Yeah, I know!”
“So why isn’t Leo here? Not that I don’t want you here…just because Leo usually walks me home.”
“We might be going on a world tour, I’m not too sure. N hyung and Leo hyung are discussing it with our managers.”
“Oh, a world tour….” I felt a twinge of sadness inside me. A world tour meant I wasn’t going to see Leo for a long time.
“How exciting is that?!” I said excitedly. I was genuinely excited and happy for them. They’ve gone so far and they’re finally touring around the world.
“Yeah. It’s pretty overwhelming to be honest.” He smiled cheerfully. I’ve missed Hyuk’s smile so much. It reminded me of the sun; warm and cheerful. While walking, I saw someone familiar walking in front of us. I quickly and quietly run up to Luhan and bonk him on the head. “Luhan!” I shout while laughing. “Ow!” he howled. “Hey Melinda! That hurt!!” he said while rubbing his head. I realized that a really pretty girl was standing next to him. “Hello.” I said with a smile.
“Hello.” She replied.
Hyuk caught up to me and gasped for air.
“Care to introduce us, Luhan?” I asked him, nodding towards the girl.
“Oh right. Taeyeon, this is Melinda. Melinda this is Taeyeon. We all go to the same school.” He said.
Taeyeon….Oh! Right I know who that is!
“Huh? Taeyeon? Kim Taeyeon? Wow!” Taeyeon was the most popular girl at my school. She was everything everyone wanted to be, and she had the most perfect boyfriend. What was she doing here, hanging out with Luhan? I pulled Luhan aside. “Is this the girl you like?” I whispered in his ear. He screwed up his face and chuckled. “No. No. No. We’re just really close friends, besides, she has a boyfriend.” He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. Maybe he really did like Taeyeon, but he was just too shy to admit it because she had a boyfriend. I will be the best wingman ever! I lightly punched Luhan’s arm and stuck my tongue out at him.
“What was that for?” he asked, shocked.
“Don’t worry Luhan, I understand you.”
“What?”
“It’s all good! I got you!” I laughed.
“I don’t understand…” he began.
“Do you guys want to go out for ice cream?” Taeyeon asked.
This would be the perfect time for Luhan to spend time with her.
“Yes! Let’s go!” I said immediately. Hyuk also joined in and eventually we all agreed to go for ice cream.
Even though Taeyeon had a boyfriend, Luhan could still try to express his feelings, and I was going to help him with that.

The trip to the ice cream store wasn’t that interesting. Luhan didn’t show much interest in Taeyeon, but more in the ice cream. It was so nice spending time with Hyuk. It’s been so long that I almost forgot what it was like spending time with him rather than Leo.
Luhan and Taeyeon eventually said their goodbye’s and walked a different direction to Hyuk and I. We talked, laughed and fooled around aimlessly. It was so fun and light. Everything was fine. Until I saw a black van pull over on the side walk, and stop right next to us.
