You Again?

I woke up early today since Mark said he would be here early for this special day. He said he would be at my house to pick me up at 7:00am. I quickly put on my clothes, do my hair and inhale my breakfast. I look at my clock to see it’s already 6:50am; Mark is usually always early then when he says he’s coming so I head outside.

[Mark’s POV]

I get up early since I promised JiHae I would meet her at the bus stop to walk here to school for her first day. I do my usual morning routine. I look at my clock to see it’s almost 7am. I go outside and start making my way to the bus stop.

[YoSung’s POV]

I check my phone for the time and it’s 7:06am. Mark is never late and if he is he always calls to tell me. I go through my phone for any miss calls or messages and there are none. I continue to wait a little longer, but it’s always chilly in the mornings.

[Mark’s POV]

“Mark! You made it in time!”

“I tried. I’m usually never late to anything.”

“Really?”

“Yeah and I really good with dates and remembering important things.”

“But you’re forgetting something important right now.”

“What was that?”

“Oh nothing, I just said we better get going before we’re late.”

“Yeah you’re right let’s go.”

[YoSung’s POV]

It’s 7:17am. I start my walk to school before I was late. As I walked question came into my mind at a millions miles an hour.
Why would he not come?
Is he okay?
Maybe he forgot.
Why would he forget?
I wasn’t sure if I should be angry or concerned. To settle my mind, I decided to stop at Mark’s family café and talk with his mom.

“Welcome to Tuan’s Café.”

“Hi Mrs.Tuan.”

“Oh! YoSung, what brings you here so early?”

“I apologize I just want to know if Mark is okay?”

“Yes, he’s fine. Why?”

“It’s just he said he was going to walk me to school today and he never showed up or called.”

“Really? He left earlier than usual this morning. I remember him saying something about the bus, but I can’t really remember.”

“Okay, thank you have a nice rest of the day.”

“You too Hun.”

I bow and exit the café.
Now that I know I don’t have to feel concerned, I am truly upset. How could he forget today? I head up to the school to find Dani.

[Mark’s POV]

“So when we get up to the school where do you usually go first?”

“Well I usually go to my locker to get my books for the first few classes of the day.”

“Alright to your locker it is.”

[YoSung’s POV]

I call Dani to see where she is so we can meet up.

“Heyyy YoSung!”

“Hey Dani, where are you?”

“I’m at your locker.”

“Why are you at my locker?”

“I’m waiting for you.”

“Alright then, I’ll be up there in a minute.”

I get to my locker only to see YoSung and the guys from GOT7, with my locker decorated.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOONA!” YoungJae yells.

Everyone follows behind YoungJae and yells happy birthday.

“Happy birthday Grandma Ajumma,” BamBam laughs.

I just smile and thank everyone for gathering together to wish me a happy birthday.

“We are throwing you a party at the club tonight so you have to go,” JB said.

“Really, you guys are the best.”

As I was talking with JB, Dani cuts him off.

“Where’s Mark?”

JB thought she was talking to him so he answered.

“I’m not sure, actually none of know.”

Dani looks over at me and I just shrug my shoulders, to tell her I don’t know either.

[Mark’s POV]

“Where is your locker Mark?”

“It’s just around this corner.”

We turn the corner to see GOT7, YoSung, Dani, and a brightly decorated birthday locker.

“What’s all this?” JiHae asked.
