You Can't Judge Someone By The Way They Look.

[On Sea, All Day]

Payton’s POV.
Since we got back to the room late, we decided to sleep in and the cruise ship weren't going to stop anywhere and be on sea the entire day. So we woke up at 10am and got ready. I was the one that got up first because i couldn't sleep anymore. So i went to the bathroom and got ready. I wore a white crop halter top, pink shorts with cactus on it, and my white sandals. When i got out of the bathroom, i see Caroline going into the bathroom to get ready. She came out wearing a white t-shirt inside of a light blue overall dress, with tan sandals. After Caroline was Jana’s turn. She wore a white crop tank top, ripped jean shorts, with a patterned loose kimono, and white low top converse sneakers. Lastly, it was Bailee’s turn. She got ready and wore this cute outfit. She wore a white dress with blue patterns on it, with her tan wedge heels.
Once we were done getting ready, we headed over to the restaurant to have brunch together. We ate and talked. Then we went back to the room to change into our bathing suits to go to the pool and jacuzzi. We were just going to relax and do some activities together on the ship. We just spent the entire day doing things we haven't done on the cruise ship.
[2:00pm]
Ryan’s POV.
When it was my break, i went to meet mom at the restaurant where we normally eat at. She wanted to talk to me about something and i had to set her straight with the whole Jana and Shaun situation.
“So have you talked to Jana lately?” Ryan asks while sitting his back against the chair.
“No and i don't plan to, anymore”, Miyoung says crossing her arms.
Ryan asks, “why? Don't you owe her an apology for the other day?”
Miyoung asks & says in her attitude, “why should i apologize to that girl? She is nothing to this family.”
“How could you say that?” Ryan asks.
“Why are you like this son? Aren't you on my side?” Miyoung asks.
Ryan says, “i'm on nobody's side and i never will. Jana had tried everything to make peace with you, but all you did was make her life more miserable than it already is. She has done so much for this family and you don't even know it.”
Miyoung asks & says, “what have she done for this family? You tell me now.”
“She tried getting Shaun to talk to you again like before. She helped Jaelynn and Joon reconcile with their relationship. And even helped Eugene find a job after he graduated. And she could've done more if you weren't in her way.” Ryan replies.
“You must be so happy that Shaun and Jana aren't together right now. But you know what you did? You took away something that should've been left alone. You took their hearts and threw it.” Ryan continues to say trying to find an answer out of it all.
Miyoung says angrily, “this is your brother we’re talking about! He can't be with Jana!”
Ryan asks angrily, “and why not? Why can't they be happy? Why cant everyone be happy? Why are you taking that away from them?”
“They don't deserve it. They don't deserve each other.” Miyoung says.
“It's not about deserving it. It's about love. About how much they love each other or care for one another. One of the reasons why they want to get married.” Ryan takes a deep breath & says.
Ryan continues to say, “Shaun is my older brother and your oldest son. Us three are the only people left in your life mom. You don't want to lose us too.”
Ryan says, “all of this is ridiculous. Love shouldn't be about the same religion or culture or anything else. But love should be between two people who actually love each other. Then nothing else in this world matters.”
“She really changed you guys lives?”, Miyoung asks lowering her voice.
“Everyone’s”, Ryan nods his head & says.
Ryan apologizes & says, “i'm sorry i got so angry with you. But i see Jana as a sister already and i want the both of them to be happy. She has taught me a lot these past couple of years. We are blessed to have her in our lives. She isn't like other girls mom. She is well taught, mannered, helpful, and loves the people around her. I just wish you saw this side of her like we do.”
Ryan continues to say, “you can't judge someone by the way they look or what occupation they do.”
I wanted mom to see the other side of Jana and how capable she is towards Shaun. She can really take care of him this time. Soon, Jana is going to be mom’s first daughter in law. She needs to realize it before it's too late.
