True Love Never Dies

[January 13th, 2019 Sunday]

[8:00am]

Payton’s POV.
Today, we are on ship meaning we don't get off anywhere on land. So we have the entire day on sea. So we were going to make the most of today on ship. Also, tonight is our first formal night where we have to wear nice clothes for dinner and take professional pictures with camera photographers. Me and Jana had woken up really early that morning so we decided to go to the gym to work out for half an hour. Caroline and Bailee were still asleep in bed but when me and Jana came back, they were awake watching tv.

Payton asks Bailee & Caroline, “you guys are awake already?”

Bailee smiles & says in bed, “yeah, we just woke up.”

“We gotta get ready for breakfast guys”, Payton says.

I went into the restroom to shower while the others waited for me. After 15 minutes later, i came out dressed in a black tank top loose dress to my knees with some sandals. Then it was Jana’s turn to take a shower. She was in there for only 10 minutes and came out wearing an ivory short sleeve loose dress, with light pink vans. After Jana was Bailee’s turn. Bailee just brushed her teeth, washed her face, and did her hair. She came out of the restroom wearing a long dark grey dress, with a long cardigan, and some strappy sandals. Last was Caroline’s turn. At first, Caroline was so lazy to get up because she was so comfortable but Jana helped her get up from the bed. Since Caroline was the last one to get ready, she took her time. She wore this blue short sleeve rolled up denim long dress with light pink vans.

We wanted to match somehow by wearing long dresses on the cruise ship since we were still on it and not on land yet.

[9:30am]

Caroline’s POV.
The four of us took the elevator to deck 7 to the same restaurant we ate last night for dinner. Today, the restaurant was transformed into a breakfast restaurant. Since we were on the cruise ship for the day, we made the most of it. Breakfast was delicious. After breakfast, we went back to the hotel to change into our swimsuits to go swimming at the pool for two hours or so. We went back to the room afterwards to shower and change into something more comfortable. Then we walked around the cruise ship to explore together and did a little of shopping. I bought a cologne for Darin and Bailee bought a necklace for Liona. Payton bought a pair of earrings while Jana bought a bracelet for Shaun. When me and Jana were in line, i asked her what the bracelet means to Shaun. It was a silver bracelet cuff with black embroidered on it.

“Is it for Shaun?” Caroline asks curiously.

Jana says looking up at Caroline, “yeah.”

Caroline continues to ask, “does it have a meaning behind it?”

“He wore this bracelet that looked exactly like this one since he was growing up. When we were moving the other day, he lost it and was super sad.” Jana smiles & says.

“He didn't buy another one?” Caroline asks.

Jana says, “the exact one he wanted was custom made in Korea by his grandmother.”

Caroline asks, “he couldn't just ask his grandmother to make a new one?”

“His grandmother passed away a few years ago. The bracelet was the last thing she gave him and he cherished it till this day.” Jana says.

“I’m so sorry to hear that Jana”, Caroline says.

Jana says, “yeah, me too.”

Caroline comes up with a good idea & says, “you should ask the teller to write a special message inside of the bracelet.”

“Thats a brilliant idea Caroline”, Jana smiles & says happily.

“So what are you going to write?” Caroline asks.

Jana says looking at the bracelet, “maybe something to help him remember his grandmother.”

Caroline smiles & says, “i like that. You should totally do that.”

Jana looked very happy buying the bracelet for Shaun. I realized how much she loves him and they deserved to be together. At first, i didn't approve of Jana and Shaun because i wanted to protect Jana from the bad guys. You see, she had dated bad boys or boys who used her in the past. I didn't want her to do that again but i knew Shaun was right for her when he showed up at Payton’s wedding couple years ago as her plus one. Shaun was right for Jana and i had always told Jana that she shouldn't let go of the ones who really love her. I told Shaun the same and he proposed to her weeks later.

I got up to the cashier and paid for the cologne. Then it was Jana’s turn.

“Did you find everything okay today?” The cashier asks.

“Yes, i did.” Jana says happily.

The cashier asks & says, “would you like to engrave any wording on this bracelet today? No bill necessary.”

Jana asks, “can you do that?”

“Of course. We can engrave anything you like.” The cashier says happily.

“Can you write ‘Always Love & Remember You’ on it for me?” Jana asks.

The cashier says, “of course. We will work on it and you can come back before dinner starts to pick it up later.”

Jana says & asks, “thank you so much. So how much will it be?”

“$39.99 please”, the cashier scans the bracelet bar code on the computer & says.

“The cruise card, please”, Jana says as she hands the cruise card to the cashier lady.

The cashier lady takes the cruise card from Jana, scans the card on the computer, and hands it back to Jana. the lady pulls out the receipt and says.

The cashier says handing the receipt to Jana, “here you go. Your all set.”

Jana takes the receipt & says, “thank you.”

“Make sure you come back later to pick up the bracelet, ma’am.” The cashier says.

“I sure will. Thanks again.” Jana smiles & says.
