Just A Number

Jungkook and I were both sitting on the edge of the couch watching Minyong pace back and forth in the living room. “Min I-,” “Save it,” she stopped me, “Is this…really happening?” she exclaimed looking over at Jungkook with wide eyes, “he…he’s…that’s Jungkook!” she put her hand on her forehead still in disbelief. “How is this happening right now?” I sigh, “You know I’m a makeup artist I mean I do celebrities makeup here and there..” “Yeah but when do you actually hang out with them or even kiss one?!” “We didn-“ “We met last week and I wanted to get to know her that’s about it,” Jungkook explained.

Minyong was staring at him trying to process everything. “It’s true,” I shook my head, she sat down on the other couch still eyeing us, “So, that’s why you’ve been weird lately,” she chuckled, “Why didn’t you tell me he was your boyfr--,” “He’s not,” “I’m Not,” Jungkook and I said at the same time, we both looked at each other, which made Minyong laugh out. “Well whatever is going on, Yuna, I just, want you to be careful I would honestly hate to see you hurt again from some asshole, especially if he’s famous, no offense Jungkook, I’m actually a big fan of your music,” she gave a quirky smile at him.

“Minyong, you can’t tell anyone about this,” “Oh don’t worry you know your secret is safe with me, I’m just concerned for all the media to find ou-“ her phone rang, “Shit, I got to take this,” we sat quietly looking at our feet, “Yuna,” “Yes Jungkook,” “Can I tell you something?” I nervously nodded, “I wanted to date you so you would stop hurting about your ex, just casually dating to see how it would be since I am attracted to you since I first saw you, but, texting and spending time with you tonight I…I grew to…kinda really liking you.” He twitched his lips, something I’ve notice he does when he’s really nervous. I didn’t know what to say I was stunned, him, liking ME?!

“Maybe I’m pushing my luck,” he faintly laughs, “You, really wouldn’t want to date a much younger guy like me, let alone someone who’s famous. I don’t want to cause stress or anything,” He stood up and brushing he suit, “I guess I’ll go now,” I stood up and walked him to the door he doesn’t turn around to talk look at me, he was halfway out the door before I grabbed his sleeve of his suit, “Jungkook-ah” I muttered, he slowly looks back at me, “I had…a really wonderful time with you.” He just looks down at me with a blank stare, “Remember our deal? You said, ‘if I had a good time when we first hang out that we would date,’” “I really like you Yuna, I don’t want to force you into dat-,” “Age and your status in public doesn’t matter anymore, I,” I paused, looking up at him, “I want to date you,” I said quietly. He stood there continuing to stare at me, I felt my face blush, why isn’t he saying anything.

Suddenly his wide bunny like smile grew on his face.
Oh geez,

“Didn’t I say we will be dating?”
