Just A Number

*1 Year Later*

I'm now a 31-year-old mom with a loveable 1 year old married to a 22-year-old. After Jungkook and I got married everything seems to fall into place. The wedding was all over TV and his fans seem to be really supportive of Jungkook's decision. Jungkook decided to take a 2-year hiatus to focus on Ahreum and me since this is all new to us. Being married has its ups and downs but, at the end of the day, I believe I made the right choice into marrying Jungkook.

"Eomma, eomma," Ahreum says in her cute high pitch voice tapping on my legs as I'm sitting on the bench at the park. "Where's appa?" I smiled widely putting her in my lap. "I was recording her walking to you, jagi, I think she's going to be a runner," Jungkook chuckles jogging over to us. "Oh so you think she's going to be good in sports like you?" I teased, "Uh...yeah?" Jungkook cockily answers, "You are good at everything," I mumbled rolling my eyes.

Ahreum wiggled out of my lap walking to her stroller touching the wheels, "Hey, so, where is everyone I thought we were hanging out in a few hours," I questioned, "Ah, Hoseok and Jimin-hyung are with Namjoon-hyung and Noona looking at places to have their reception," Yep, that's right, Namjoon and Minyong got engaged recently, a few months after Jungkook and I got married. Isn't it a miracle?!

"Well, should we meet them at the cafe soon?" I got up off the bench, Jungkook smiles and got up also, making eye contact with Ahreum. He stood like a dinosaur and roared running to her as Ahreum playfully screams trying to hide behind her stroller. Jungkook swoops her up spinning her around as she laughs uncontrollably. I couldn't help but laugh too, "Jungkook!" I called after him, "You and Ahreum say Kimchiiii" I took out my phone trying to take a decent picture, "Ahreum-ah, look at eomma!" I called out to her, she looks and luckily smiles. "GOT IT!" I jumped up with joy, "okay weirdo let's go," Jungkook laughs putting Ahreum in the stroller. "Yah! Don't call me that," I lightly hit him on the shoulder.



And so, this is the destined story of how a 29 year old makeup artist met a 20 year old Kpop Idol who both fell in love, started a family and lived happily ever after.
