The Worn Out Red Ribbon
Pushed Aside
"...Mino?"
You suddenly feel a lot of pain in your head and collapse on the floor. He rushes to your side in concern.
"Mirae, are you okay?!"
You look up at Mino, who's face looks like it's going to cry.
"Um.....wh..."
Mino suddenly gets up and runs away with his hand covering his mouth. You try calling out his name but you pass out instead.

"Ugh.....wha..."
You open your eyes to white. Everything is white.
"I told you you shouldn't have went to work today~~"
You look over to the direction the voice came from.
"Jin! What the hell happened!?"
He laughs.
"Don't sit up so quickly or you'll get a-"
You hold your forehead in pain.
"Headache..." , "You collapsed at work."
Suddenly everything rushes back to you.
"How is Mino?! Where is Mino?!" , "He's okay, don't worry. I'm more worried about you, though. He didn't collapse like you."
Jin...you're such a worrywart.
You give Jin a nice smile, and he smiles back.
"No, I'm not sneaking you out of here." , "Oh come on! I wanna go home!!"
He laughs.
"Yeah well here there are nurses, and I can have a break" , "Don't act like I made you nurse me! It was by your own will! You might as well move in!"
Jin looks at you with the eyes of surprise.
"Wait, are you serious?"
Well it's no surprise I have an empty room I've been using as a guest room but I don't even have anyone over...so...
"Sure." , "You know I actually will move in." , "And you know I am actually saying yes right?"
Jin gives you a megawatt smile.
This is gonna be a long week....AND I'M OFF WORK FOR THAT WHOLE WEEK! First day back and I'm already out again.

You were finally discharged and you stretched for the first time in a week.
So refreshing....I felt so dead in there!
You see Jin pull up in the car he knows you hate.
"I'm walking home."
You give him a couple moments of silence so he can laugh.
"I just had to!"
You reluctantly get in.
"Please do one nice thing and drive me to the nearest car dealership." , "Come on! This is a one - of - a - kind classic! It's beautiful!"
You punch Jin on the arm.
"Ow! Okay, Okay, Jeez!"
You pull up into an obviously expensive car dealership a couple miles down the road.
"Okay! Now I know you hated this car too and you want me to buy you a nice lambo as a house warming gift."
He looks at you with confused eyes, and when you give him the "I know you inside out" look, he drops his act.
"You see right through me!" , "Just pick one and lets go." , "Kay!"
Jin picks the lambo he wants and you pay for it and take the keys.
"What are you doing?"
You look at him and put a smirk on your face.
"Uh, what?! After that little STUNT you pulled to get this sweet ride, here's MY LITTLE STUNT. I BOUGHT this lambo, afterall. I should be the first to drive it."
He looks mad but then he spits out...
"Excuseeeeee me, who NURSED you NIGHT AND DAY for 4 MONTHS?! You practically OWE me this car!"
You squint at him.
"And WHO didn't ASK you to?!"
You get into the car and drive past him, giving him a playful middle finger.

You arrive home and park your now second lambo to the other one you have.
That smart little shit...
You get out and see a taxi pull into the parking lot. Jin gets out and pays the driver.
"What? I couldn't stand being in that car."
You laugh and say...
"Oh Come on! It was a one - of - a - kind classic! It was beautiful!"
He gives you an evil glare.
"Oh shut up.."
There's so many red ribbons today. So many new relationships, so many ending.
You go to your apartment and notice Jin's stuff.
Oh, I forgot. He moved in.
Tuckered out, you head to your bedroom and go to sleep.

You wake up to the smell of cooking.
"Jin you're an angel!!"
You yell out to him.
"Thanks, I know!"
He yells back. You get up, dressed, and make your way to the kitchen.
"Smells like something's burning, Are you trying to burn down the apartment??"
You tease.
"Come stuff your face with my burnt food before I stuff it for you." , "Threatening me with food? Do you know me at all??"
He chuckles and hands you a plate.
It's my favourite. This guy-! I'm gonna shed a tear of joy.
"Thank you for the food!"
He sits down in front of you and you both start eating.
His cooking was always better than mine....agh, so good...
"You know, you make me want to get fat, your foods so good."
I know you're flattered~~
"Don't talk with your mouth full"
Come on, really? Boring...
"Yes, Mom!"
A couple moments of silence before Jin bluntly says...
"Also your trash can looks like a ramen commercial." , "Hey! Dont judge me! I just never had time to actually cook. Plus, they're really good!"

You lock the door as you leave, because you know Jin never does.
This actually isn't so bad.
You get into your car and drive to work.

You arrive at your workplace and are greeted by just about everyone.
"Yes, hello everyone! I'm back!"
Suddenly, a familiar guy greets you.
"Mirae...are you okay now?" , "Mino?"
He smiles a bit.
"Yeah, It's good to see you."
You smile.
"It's been...forever..."
You look down at his hand, and your eyes widen.
That red ribbon....it's so...worn out....It looks like someone's been cut-
"Mirae?" , "Ah! Yes?" , "Let's work hard."
You smile.
"Yes!"
You head up the elevator with Mino, through the eye scanner, and the door opens up to your team's computer desks, etc.
Wow, It looks like I'll have a lot to do....because...I'm...a...CEO....
You go up the stairs, scan your eye, and enter your office.
I forgot this office is basically like a house. Why didn't I just stay here, away from worrywart Jin?!
You close your blinds by the touch of your remote and log onto your computer.
So much work...as I thought....Better text Jin I won't be home in a couple days...

At break time you decide to ask Mino to go have some tea from the downstairs cafeteria. You walk out of your office and go up to Mino.
"Hey, I was wondering...would you like to-"

"Mino! Let's go to the cafeteria together!"
You look back and see the very girl who told you about Mino's arrival.
"Uh...Well I was about to-"
Mino pushes you aside and walks with the girl and you watch as he leaves your view.

OMG THIS IS SO MUCH FUN TO WRITE! I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS SERIES I CAN'T EVEN!!(Who will Mirae choose~~? Heheeeee!)
