“Lee Chaerin!! Hurry up eat your breakfast, you’ll be late for your work” shout Yoori from down stairs. “Okay!! Okay!! I’m coming!!” I said as I took my bag and ran downstairs. I went to the kitchen and saw my two beloved person eating their breakfast. “Good morning, Aunt Sarah, good morning Unnie” I said as I gave a kiss at my sister and went to my seat. “Good morning” said both of them together. After the accident, we stayed at Aunt Sarah house, Aunt Sarah is mom best friend, she helped us after knowing what happen to our parents. She became our mother, she also a vampire. Yoori told me everything.
She told me, at this cruel world, there’s living lot of creature, but most of them that still alive were vampires, they live a thousand years watching and waiting for human blood. But on these modern years, people though that vampires were not exist anymore, they though it was just fantasy for kids to having a bad dream, actually they hided among the human for their own safety. Some of them, married with human and bred human child, some married with their own creature and bred their next generation, while others just hide themselves and hunt human for blood for secretly.
Aunt Sarah was a fully vampire, she just like other vampires, she also need blood to survive. But she not drink human blood, she only drink a blood from animals. Yoori, was also a vampire, she’s a half bred vampire. Mom gave birth her in pain and knowing that she is a half vampire, a half bred vampire was a vampire enemies, half vampire means the child was from a human and vampire relationship, they hate it. Yoori don’t drink blood, she just like human, only the blood that running in her body was a vampire blood. And me? I’m just a human, I’m just a normal girl.
I stared at the food I ate for a really long time, when suddenly, Yoori snapped me out of my daydream. I shocked and looked her. “What?” I said. “Stop staring at the food, hurry up you already late for work” said Yoori. “HUH!! What time is it?!” I said. “5 more minutes and you late for work” said Aunt Sarah while drank her animal blood like a smoothie. I took my bag and ran to the door house, I wore my heels and ready to go. “Unnie, I’m going, goodbye!! Have a nice day” I said as I walked out from the house.
I ran with my heels to my work place. I stopped and panting for air. I looked the tall building and smiles. I entered the main door building in hurried. I went to the lift and pushed the button desperately to the 10th floor. “Hurry up, hurry up!!” I said as I looked the number floor that already past. When the floor lift opened at the 10th floor, I already in joy when suddenly I bumped with a guy. I fall on the floor, he helped me up. He covered his face with his cap. “I’m really sorry, I don’t see you, are you okay?” I said as I held his arm. He just nodded and hurried went inside the lift. I stood in shocked while looked the guy.
