I looked both of my parents from the stairs where I hided myself. My parents had been acting weird since yesterday, it made me curious. I suddenly woke up that night hearing my parent voice. I got out from my bedroom and went to the stairs, I heard my mother voice half shouting. I hided at the stairs and took a peek at between the stairs rail. I looked quietly both my parents. “Honey!! Are you insane!! How could you make such a promises at them? You can’t trust them, they are not from our creature!!” said mother angrily and sadly. “I don’t care anymore who are they, they can help us, Yunhee-ah” said father while looked mother desperately. Mother started to cry.
“Anyway, if you in my shoes, you will do the same thing, you will ask help from your own creature, right?!” said father again. Mother looked at father shocked. “Even if I’m desperate for help, I’ll never ask help from them who I threw them away from my life because you and our children!!” said mother angrily. Father glared at mother. “Honey!! They are dangerous creature, their payment is our blood, what if they hunt our kids!!” said mother crying. “They will not bother our kids, I’m the one who made the deal, if they want anything, it’s all from me” said father. Mother started to cry again and father hugged mother.
I looked at them and wandering what they talking. When suddenly, my sister tapped my shoulder and looked at me, and then looked at our parents. “Yoori unnie” I said as I looked her. “YA…you shouldn’t do that…let’s go to bed” said Yoori while walked me to my room and send me to bed. Ever since that night I watch, it almost a week they acted weirdly. Yoori kept telling me it’s nothing until that night.
I suddenly woke up when I heard a really loud thunder at outside. I looked at outside of the window. “It’s must be rainy tonight” I said as I walked back to my bed with Mr. Bunny at my hand. Suddenly i heard a really loud knock at the door house, I went for a looked at the stairs like before. Father and mother looked sacred, and they opened the door. Three men in a black suit entered the house. They looked pale and scary.
“I come for the payment, you got what you want, so I need my payment” said the leader that looked like a mafia. “But sir it’s not due date for the payment yet, you still have a week” said father desperate. “I come early from the due…need my payment now” said the lead again. Father looked mother. “What do you need for your payment?” said father. “What I need? Hahaha, what a funny humans” said the lead while laughed followed the others.
“You make a deal with a vampire, so you pay like a vampire wish…our payment is only one, BLOOD” said the lead while showed his fang. I shocked and almost scream when someone closed my mouth. I looked at the person, it’s Yoori. She told me to shut up. I nodded while my eyes full with tears. They had conversation but I can’t heard anything since they entered the living room. A moment later, I heard father shouting and they exit from the living room. Father and mother kneel down at them, begging for them. The lead looked like he don’t cared.
“I wander, how your daughters doing?” said the lead while looked straight at us. Yoori hugged me and closed my eyes. Yoori must be sacred, I heard her heartbeat really fast. “NO!! You can’t hurt my daughter that’s your promise!!” said mother while stood looking at him. “Well, well…we had found the lost vampire” said the lead while looked my mother with his red bloody eyes. Mother eyes also changed with bloody color.
“I warn you, don’t you dare come near my daughter” said mother. He laughed and looked my mother. “Then, we don’t need someone in our vampire ways, kill him” said the lead while instruct his followers to kill father. They sucked father blood in just a minute. Mother clench her fist while cried. I started to cry and so do Yoori, but Yoori hurried closed my eyes. “Who’s next” said the lead. Mother looked up and looked back at the lead. “No!!” shout mother while ran to the stairs and went up.
Yoori picked me up and ran to her room. “It’s okay, it’s okay…I’m here” said Yoori while hugged me. Screaming, I heard mother screamed. Yoori hurried closed my ears. “It’s nothing you need to hear…sing ChaeRin-ah, sing” said Yoori while smile. I started to sing while crying. The screaming getting louder and suddenly stopped. Someone’s in front of Yoori’s room. Yoori already breathed heavily. “I got my second payment, what tasty blood today” said the lead while walked away. Yoori waited for 10 minutes and it already quiet.
Yoori picked me up and opened the locked door room. In front of the room, our mother lying on the floor. Yoori shocked while hugged me again. Yoori cried while held mother hand. “I love you mother, I always do, I’ll take good care of Chae Rin, like you ask before, i promise” said Yoori while cried. “I love you” said Yoori again while walked away leave mom there.
Both of us walked in a rainy day, looking for a save place. Yoori went for a house. Not a house but a villa, a big one. She rang the doorbell many time and a woman answer it. “Who is it?” said a woman. “Aunt Sarah, it’s me, Lee Yoori, please let us in” said Yoori crying. The door gate opened a moment later and we entered the house. On that moment, I knew my life will change, we were now an orphan, we watched how our parents died, I grew only with my sister and my aunt love, now I fear nothing.
