DK returned back to the living room with Seungkwan following behind.
"Who did you talk to?" Wonwoo asked.
"Oh, you know, soon enough" he answered with a big smile.

"Okay? Scary..."Hoshi rolled his eyes as he went to the couch to relax.
We all sat down at the couch, trying to proceed what just happened.
"Hey (Y/N), thanks for backing me up" S.coups suddenly bowed his head.
"W-what?" I asked shocked.
"You told the manager, I mean ex-manager that I did a good job on the group, and that really meant a lot to me" he smiled.
"I just told the truth" I tried to smile.

After 10 minutes, someone knocked on the door.

"Oh! Our guest is here!!" Seungkwan and DK happily ran towards the door and greeted the guest.

They came back, skipping and sat in the couch again.
And then the guest walked into the living room.
"Chae?" I asked.
"Oh, hi (Y/N). You were here too?" he smiled, putting his suitcase down.

"Are you going anywhere?" I asked with a sad tone.

"No, why?"

"You got a suitcase" I said, pointing at the black suitcase.
"Oh, that? I am moving here" he smiled.
"What?" The members said in shock.

"He is our new manager!" Seungkwan and DK smiled, giving him the jazzhands opening (yeah, you get the idea).

"Really Chae?" I asked surprise, standing up.
All he did was smiling shyly and nod.

"Oh Congratz!" I yelled of happiness, giving him a hug.

"Thanks (Y/N)" he smiled, as he broke the hug and rested his hand on my head.

"Sit down sit down" Jeonghan smiled, showing him an empty space in the couch.
"Thanks" he bowed his head as he took the empty space between DK and Seungkwan.

I took my own seat in the couch between Joshua and The8.

We started to tell Chae about the manager and how that he started to force Seventeen to focus on their work.
"What would he do if you didn't?" I asked blunt.
"He said that we wouldn't get food for the next 2 days" Jun answered sad.
"WHAT?!" Chae looked furious.
"He never did though" S.coups commented.
"But he did take away my dinner" Seungkwan looked down.

Chae started to stroke gently on his back.

"But how did Chae knew he was the new manager?" I asked as the other members nodded in agreement.

"Well, after Dino told me about the manager, I looked into it and started to get worried. As I told the the CEO Han seong-su, he told me that I would be a wonderful manager for them. I guess I did get along with the members so I accepted his offer."

"Then how did DK and Seungkwan know?" The8 asked, raising an eyebrow.
"We heard it" Seungkwan smiled like an idiot.
"Huh?" I asked confused.
DK slapped Seungkwan's hair as he turned to us again.
"We happened to hear it when we were going to tell the CEO about the manager" DK explained as the others members started to nod in understanding.

Everyone was looking around in the room, exchanging gazes, when me and Chae got eye contact.
"Did he do something to you?" he asked.
"Me? Not really ,but..."

"But?" he asked with a worried face.

"he threaten me" I looked down at my shaking hands.
"How?"
"He told me that if I didn't cut the contact with Seventeen and focused on my training, he would make me disappear just like my parents" I confessed, feeling fear build inside of me as my hands started to shake.
"Your parents?" Chae asked shocked, looking down.

"I don't know what that man did, but he had something to do with my parents."

"(Y/N) I have something to tell you.... I heard something about them"Chae confessed.
"Waht?"
"You remember why they traveled to Seoul right??"

I nodded in agreement.
"Well, you are right. He has something to do with your parent's disappearance."

I looked down at my hands again, afraid of his news about my parents.

As I closed them shut, a warm feeling spread out from my hands.
My eyes flew up and I saw a hand holding mine.

I looked at the owner of the hand.
Joshua?

I looked at him confused.

He gave me a smile and looked at Chae.
"Are you okay?" Jeonghan looked at me with a worried face.
"Y-yeah" I answered flustered.
"Well, it looks like that the manager wanted to get rid of the people on the island to use it as a training camp for his -money makers-. So your parents went to Seoul to go against him, and because of they were in the way, he...."
"Got rid of them" I finished his sentence as I looked at his nodding head.
"But, why didn't he do his plan when they were gone?" Vernon asked, making S.coups slap his head.
"Don't be rude!" he whispered.
"That is a good question" Woozi and Hoshi said at the same time.
Chae took a deep breath before he spoke again.

"Apparently, your parents told them that a special someone would never accept to leave the island."

"Who?" the members asked.
"It was you (Y/N)" Chae smiled.
"Me?" I asked.
"Yeah, your parents told him that even if they were gone, you would continue their fight. Because you were their daughter" he explained, making my tears flood over.

My hand automatic squeezed Joshua's hands as I quietly started to sob.
"Let's give her some space" I heard Jun suggest as the other members and Chae left the living room, but the hand that held mine never left.

I looked up to meet Joshua's gentle gaze.

"It's okay, just let it out" he smiled as he brought my head to his shoulder.

The tears started to flow over again as I buried my face in his shoulder.
