I would always watch you, no matter where you are.

My eyes would be filled with your radiant aura.

My head knew how much you worked.

and my heart started to beat fast when your hard work was rewarded.

And everything is just to fulfill our promise as a child...
-Flashback-

(You two were about 5 years old)
"(Y/N)?" Soonyoung asked.
"yeah?"
"What do you want for your birthday??" he looked at me with his cute eyes.
"Hmm... I want a star" I smiled, looking to the star filled sky above us.

"A star?" he asked, looking up.
I gave him a nod as I reached my hand towards the sky.

"But, I can't give you one" he said sad.
My face fell in disappointment as I looked at my feet.
"I really wanted a star..." I sulked.
"Then! I'll be your star" Soonyoung stood up.
"Really?" I asked surprised.
"Of course! It's a promise!" he smiled, showing me his pinky finger.
"Promise" I smiled to him, linking our pinky fingers.

-End of flashback-
Looking at you, dazzling at the TV was always fun.

But... you never talked to me since you moved.

Since the day you moved to Seoul, you just made the distance between us grow.

Even though you promised me to be my star.

Did you forgot it?
"It was just a stupid promise between children" I commented to myself in a cold tone.
I sat in my couch as I watched TV.
The group Soonyoung, I mean Hoshi is in, was doing a performance.

"And I thought you needed me" I sighted looking outside my window.

It wasn't the usual view I had.

I had the view of Seoul.

That's right.

I moved to Seoul.
Even after all these years, my feelings for Soonyoung never left my heart.

So I decided to go to where Soonyoung was.

But how could I get in contact with him?

I just wanted him to know that he could just forget our stupid promise.

Because I kind of felt guilty for him overworking himself.

He started to dance because of me, he practiced every day on dancing because of me, and I bet he went through a lot of suffering because of me too.

"Where is this Pledis place?" I wondered as I took up my computer and searched around the internet.
After a couple of minutes, I found out the address and decided to finally go to speak to him, after all these years.

I walked to my closet and tried to pick out a casual outfit.

I wanted at least to look okay when I meet him.

The endless question about what to wear swirled in my head as I gazed at my clothes.
"This would do" I smiled, choosing a pair of jeans, a black sweater and some running shoes.

The moment I was done getting dressed, I walked over to the Pledis place, hoping that they would be there. It wasn't that late so maybe they had practice or something.

But of course, with my sense of direction, I got lost.
"Ehm, can anyone help me?" I asked the empty air.

I sighted when no answer came.
"Where the freak am I?" I sighted, sitting down on the side walk.

"A-are you okay?" A deep voice asked me.
I looked up and faced this cute guy.
"Ehm, I am sorry, but I am lost" I stood up.
"Oh, where are you going??" he asked, giving me a cute smile.

"Ehm, Pledis?" I asked him.
"Oh! I am going there too! Do you know anyone??"
"Oh wait, you do look familiar" I pointed at him.
"Did you recognize me??" he looked at me with bright eyes.

"You were at the same stage as Soonyoung?" I tilted my head.
He nodded with a bright smile.
"I am Lee Chan, or Dino at stage! Call me Chan if you want!! Do you know Hoshi Hyung??" he asked as he started to walk.
"Ehm ,kind of" I ran beside him.
"Are you his fan?"
"I am more like a childhood friend" I explained.
"WOW! SO COOL! What are you doing here in Seoul??"
"I kind of moved here" I scratched my head.

Me and Chan started to talk about how it is to be an idol.
And without notice it, we arrived.
"Are you nervous?" he asked me.
"Yeah, cause I kind of don't have good news for him..." I whispered.
"Huh?" he asked me.
"Nothing" I shaked my head as we went inside.

I stood behind Chan as he opened the door to the practice room.
"Hey Dino!! What took you so long!!" a deep voice filled the small talks.

"Nothing" he smiled as he stepped inside, making more space for me.
"Hey, you missed some of the dance, are you ready?" another spoke up.
"Be prepared" a familiar voice filled my ears.
"Soonyoung" I whispered to myself, grabbing the hem of my shirt.

"Before that Hyung! I have a surprise!" Chan spoke up as he poked my arm from behind him.

"H-hello there" I smiled, peeking my head forward from his back.

"(Y/N)??" Soonyoung asked shocked.
"Hello Soonyoung" I greeted him.
"Do you know her Hoshi?" a tall guy walked towards us.
"Y-yeah." he nodded as he slowly walked towards us too.
"how?" another one asked.
"We are childhood friends" I smiled to them.
"WOW!" All of them said.
"W-why are you here?" Soonyoung asked nervous.
"I moved here" I tried to give him a smile, but his facial expression was kind of scary.
"Why didn't you tell me?" he looked at me with sad eyes.
Which made me extremely mad.

"Tell you??" I raised my voice.
"H-hey are you okay??" Chan asked me worried.

"We haven't seen each other for years and you ask me why I didn't tell you?!" I raised my voice even louder.

I snapped into reality when I saw everyone's shocking faces.

"Ah, I am sorry" I bowed my head as I rushed out of the room.

I followed the corridor, until I reached a dead end.
"I am really stupid" I face slapped myself, knowing my weak sense of direction.

"You really are"

I turned around to see Soonyoung standing there.
"Soonyoung...." I mumbled.

"I am sorry, I was an idiot to say that comment. I mean, you were right. I just left, and didn't contact you for years. Not only that, I didn't even try to. I am sorry (Y/N)" he bowed his head.
"No Soonyoung, don't, its all right now." I tried to make him stop.

He raised his head and met my gaze.

"You know Soonyoung, I came here because I wanted to say something to you." I took a deep breath before continuing speaking.
"You don't have to keep our promise anymore" I gave him a sad smile.

"What?" he looked at me with his sweet eyes.
"It was just a stupid promise between kids. So just forget it okay?" I tried to walk past him, but he blocked my way.
"Why would you even say that?" he asked me in a serious tone.

"Because... I don't want you to overwork yourself because of me..." I explained as he pushed me towards the wall.

"Since I was a little kid, I always wanted to fulfill my promise to you. No matter what you say , I am going to be your star."
"But..."

"If you are worried about my future, let me say this.
It started with our promise, but as more I danced, it became more fun.
After I moved to Seoul, I realized that I didn't just wanted to become an idol for you, but I wanted to show everyone my dancing"

"Then, Will you be my star Hoshi?" I looked into his eyes.
"For you, it is Soonyoung." he smiled as he planted a sweet kiss on my forehead.
