I was laying on my bed, staring at the phone screen.

21:45.... So it should be 23:45 in Korea.... and still no texts from him...
Worried, I dialed his number and called him.
The ringing tone filled my ear as I waited for him to pick up.
Suddenly I heard a tired voice on the other side of the line.
"Hello?"

"Oh! Vernon? Are you back? You never texted me..." I asked worried.

"Texted? oh sorry... What time is it??" He asked me with his tired voice.

"I-it is 23:45..." I answered disappointed.

"Already?? We were done recording around 20:00 and I guess I just fell asleep... Sorry (Y/N).." He apologized.

"No, it's ok... Sorry to wake you up" I answered him, trying to sound cheerful.

"No problem.... Night night"

"Good nig-"

The sound from the other line disappeared as I put away my phone.

Vernon never cut me off, this was the first time.

And to be honest, it didn't feel good.

My eyes went to my nightstand, where a picture of him and me was standing.

We took the picture last time we met, it was about 4 months ago.

I sighted as I looked at the picture.

"I miss you Vernon...." I mumbled, feeling my feelings starts to flow over.
Me and Vernon met around 5 years ago.

I was on vacation in South-Korea, and got lost from my parents.

When I was in panic, and didn't speak the language, he was the one to help me.

The moment I saw him, he was so handsome but yet cute.

As thanks, my parents insisted to pay dinner for him, which he accepted.

After that, we traced contact info and started to hang out. We hung out pretty much the time I spent in South-Korea.

But every start has an end, and so did my vacation.

I still remember how broken I was at the airport.

No matter what, I wanted to be with Vernon.

But my parents just told me that it was a summer fling...

Even after the painful parting, I never stopped thinking about him.

I texted him every day and we talked every single night.
As the time went, I started to fall for his charm.

My mother expected me to fall for him, but told me to get over him, cause he was living in another country.

"long distance relationship is not easy" she says.

And she was right...
After 4 months, I confessed to him over video chat. It was right after I left South-Korea after visiting him. At that time, I got really jealous when Vernon called me friend to others.

I couldn't keep my feelings to myself anymore and decided to confess.

He was really surprised, but accepted my love without any hesitations.
4 months later, he visited me.
I was so exited!
I wanted to show him everything!

My friends, my home, my school, everything!

But when he arrived, he was really gloomy.
He didn't look so exited to see me...

Disappointed, I tried to ask him what was wrong, but he never told me.

This was the first time we met as a couple, and he didn't even look properly at me.

And then, he just left, just like that.

Nothing more happened...

It was like he never visited me.
My phone snapped me back to reality.

"A text?" I mumbled as I unlocked my phone.
It was from Vernon.
"Hey, Sorry that I just cut you off like that... I feel really bad"

I gave a sad smile towards my phone as I replied to him.
"Don't worry, just go back to sleep"

"Thanks.. I didn't get to sleep... I felt really guilty"

"We can talk later, sweet dreams" I replied as I put my phone away.

I dazed out in the room, just thinking how I could cheer up Vernon.
Then an idea popped in my head.

Without wasting any time, I found my computer and started to search.

After 15 min of searching, I finally clicked the -Buy- button as I dialed a number to my phone.

The sound of ringing filled my ear once again.
"H-hello?" A tired voice answers.

"S.coups?? Sorry for calling so late" I apologized.

"Who is this?" He asked, still half asleep.

"This is (Y/N).... "

"(Y/N)??"he asked me.
"Ehm.. Vernons girlfriend... we skyped last week" I reminded him.
"OH! Hold on! Vern-"

"S.coups, it is a secret" I tried to stop him.

"Huh?"

"I am going to surprise Vernon, so I am coming to South-Korea" I announced it.

"Wow! He is going to be so happy, When?!!"

"Tomorrow, So I'll be there around 13:00, is it ok?"

"It is perfect! We got 2 weeks off after tomorrow's job."

"R-really?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah! Didn't he tell you?"

"N-no," I answered him uneasy.

"Oh, sorry, it is very late. Sleep tight" I ended the call, putting my phone away.

Why didn't Vernon tell me?

...

Well, I should start packing my stuff and get to bed..

Going to have a long day ahead of me.
But before I got to bed, I had to make some phonecalls...
This was urgent.
-The next day-

After a couple of hours on the plane, I landed safely in South-Korea.

The seventeen members couldn't get me, but their manager did.
We drove to their shooting location.

They were recording this new MV called Very Nice.
I was super exited to hear it, cause a certain SOMEONE never told me, AGAIN.

The shooting was outside, and I was standing in the background, watching.

The members haven't noticed me yet, good.

After the dancing scene, they were moving on to the acting scenes.

This was their solo parts, so the rest of the members got some free time.

Secretly, S.coups walked up to me.

"Hi" he greeted me.

"Hi" I smiled looking out for Vernon.
"How are you doing?" he asked.

"I am exited!" I smiled as I started to walk towards the members, but S.coups stopped me.
"Ehm, the manager wanted you to see him after his recording is done. He really need to focus on the recording now.." he gave me a sad smile.

"O-of course" I smiled back, taking a step back.

"Just stay put" he smiled, putting a caps on my head.

I nodded as I watched him walk back to the group.

As the recording started, everything went smoothly.
But then it was Vernon's turn.

My Vernie.
It was all ok with him and Dino jumping exited at a roof, but then the shoot with the girl started.
Personally, I had nothing against the girl record with my boyfriend, but his reaction was kind of, too realistic.

"Wow, he really did went totally off scrips" I heard the director comment.

"Excuse me, but what did you mean by that?" I asked him, feeling worried.

"Well, everything he had to do was to stare at the girl... He didn't have to get closer to her or anything. Man, Vernon is doing good today" The director answered as he looked proud on the screen.
