Ever More

I could hardly sleep that night. It didn’t seem like Sehun could either. We both laid there holding each other. No words needed to be said. We both gave up about 8:00. We went over to the mansion preparing for tonight. Kat Luhan and I went to the barn to get our supplies ready. We had a general plan but decided we would wing it once we had his full attention. While one of us was distracting the other two would attack from the sides.

It was finally time to go. Sehun came with me and Luhan until it was time for him to go to his place at the river.

“Now remember.” He says turning to face me. “He is going to toy with you. Don’t think you have the upper hand too soon or he can get you.”

“I know.” I say kissing him. “I’ll be careful. Follow Kris’s lead. This isn’t his first battle he will have an idea of what to do.”

“I love you.” He says kissing me deeply.

“I love you too.”

I get back onto my four wheeler watching him go over to his place. We all stayed silent to not give away our positions. It didn’t take long before we heard laughing.

“Jongmin, he actually showed.” Posung said chuckling as he came out.

Sehun stood there not taking his eyes off him.

“Oh come on.” Kiyoung said coming out of the trees. “You couldn’t make this fun for us?”

“Yeah baby brother.” Jongmin said finally coming out. “The least you could do is run. You know how to do that all too well.”

“I’m done running.” Sehun finally says to them.

I felt my nerves start to get the better of me. I put my hand on the key to turn on my four wheeler but was stopped by Luhan. He gave me a stern look to not turn on the engine. I waited for our cue line.

“Sehun. What really changed your mind? That girl? All mates do is block your senses.” Jongmin says to him. “I’ll make one more deal with you. It should be an easy one. Come back with us and join us again. If not, after we finish you we go find them.”

“I’m not going with you.” Sehun says sternly. “Now I’ll give you one more chance. Leave and we won’t kill you.”

With that I turned on the engine. We all came out of our spots showing we had them surrounded. They all three looked around seeing us.

Jongmin laughed. “No deal.” He said turning then jumping at Sehun.

Sehun quickly changed too jumping to him.

Chen’s POV

Sehun was quick to attack Jongmin but the other two were quickly on him. I grabbed ahold of Kiyoung’s haunches ripping him off Sehun. He was quick to stand back up coming at me. Tao swooped in nailing him on the side. Lay jumped on his back biting at his shoulder.

I bit down hard on his neck once he threw off Lay. Kiyoung hit me hard with his paw leaving a gash across my shoulder causing me to let go of his neck. I tasted blood from my bite. He almost chuckled charging after me.

Tao came up on his side again this time grabbing ahold of him as he crashed causing them both to roll down the hill. Lay and I heard a crash once they were out of site. We both ran towards them. To our surprise all we saw was Tao standing there sniffing.

“Where is he?” I asked once we made it to him.

“I don’t know. We hit the tree and when I stood up he was gone.” He says frantically sniffing for him.

I started trying to sniff him out too when we heard Lay cry out. We had no idea where he came from but Kiyoung was on Lay ripping at anything he could get ahold of. I ran over grabbing him by the neck again ripping him off Lay. I heard a loud wine as I threw him onto the stone wall by his neck.

We all crouch down ready to attack him as we slowly approached him. His body then changes from his wolf to human. None of us could smell life out of him anymore.

The three of us change for Lay to go over us to make sure we weren’t badly injured. It seemed as though Lay was the one with the most injuries from Kiyoung jumping on his back but overall we got out pretty easily.

“Lay!” We all hear Kat start screaming. “Lay!”

We quickly pack up running in her direction.

Kat’s POV

The other two wolves were quick to attack Sehun after Jongmin. I pulled out my bow and arrows waiting for my shot. Once Chen pulled off Kiyoung I had my opening for Posung. I sent my arrow flying nailing him right in his shoulder. He jumped up growling then pulling it out of him. The whole arrow was silver so I knew that had to burn his mouth pretty good. I then notice he didn’t get the arrow head out. I sent another arrow towards him to get his attention on me before starting my four wheeler heading into the forest where Maranda and Luhan were waiting for us.

“Come on puppy! Let’s go this way!” I yelled at him flying passed him.

He quickly followed after me chasing me into the woods. I heard him growl after me right before Luhan jumped out of the trees next to us jumping across his back then going into the other side of the trees. Posung rolled on the ground from the impact before chasing after Luhan.

Luhan’s POV

“Hey Fluffy! Let’s go this way!” I said to him as I jumped across his back running into the trees.

“You think a few trees are going to keep you safe?” He called after me chasing to catch up to me.

“No but she will!” I yell back at him. Maranda then comes flying out of the trees hitting him with the back tires of her four wheeler.

“Hey Scruffy let’s play over here!” She yells at him before riding off.

“Bitch!” He screams after her running with more determination.

Maranda’s POV

I was going as fast as the four wheeler would go but he seemed to be picking up speed the angrier he got at us. Even with that arrow in him he was determined to take us out.

I kept going straight waiting for the next one to get his attention. I then hear him start to growl. I glanced back and see Kat on the top of the ledge of rocks throwing rather large stones at him nailing him everywhere.

He stopped for a split second when one hit him square in the head. I took that chance to get out of his line of sight.

“Come on Mr. Wolfy! Come play!” She yelled at him hitting him with more rocks.

I went up to the top of the other ledge. By the time I got there Luhan had changed forms throwing his rocks at him. I started throwing mine. All of us making our mark with almost each throw. He then darted into the woods causing us to lose track of him.

I got back on my four wheeler turning around when he jump out of the trees behind me chasing me again.

“I got him!” I yell to Kat and Luhan. I kept going straight hoping they made it to either side of us. I turned my head to see if he was still on my tail seeing he was getting closer. When I turned back forward I see a huge bolder in the middle of my path.

There was no way around it. I braced myself for the impact running my four wheeler right into it sending me flying. Luhan jumped out catching me on the other side before taking off into the trees.

Posung didn’t have time to react running head first into the bolder cracking it. It took him a second to get back up. Kat was quick to get his attention sending him in a new direction.
We chased after him with me on Luhan’s back now. We could only attack from one side since I lost my four wheeler. We then hear him crash into Kat knocking the four wheeler into a tree.

We see her headed straight for a tree trying to turn to avoid it. Something was wrong though and she wasn’t able too. She then grabs a branch from the tree swinging herself up.

Luhan ran in their direction. I grabbed ahold of the same branch pulling myself up with Kat as Luhan ran through going after him.

Luhan’s POV

Hang on Maranda! I thought as I ran straight for him. I felt her leave my back quickly knowing she must have jumped into the tree.

I rammed into him grabbing ahold of his injured shoulder. He growled turning snapping at me. I let go of him starting to circle. He was still disoriented from hitting the boulder.

“Is this all you three got?” He asked me growling.

“Not even close!” I yell launching at him.

Both of us were biting anything we could get ahold of. Finally I got a good grip on his neck latching down hard before shaking my head.

I heard him cry out before I threw him into a tree. I run over to him grabbing him again by the neck and throwing him. I was headed for him a third time when his body shifted.

I stopped to sniff to see if he was still alive. He wasn’t.

Maranda’s POV

“Yeah! Go Luhan!” I cried after him once I was in the tree. I then turn to Kat. “Well I’m glad this tree was here! I thought I was going into the fight on Luhan’s back.” I say laughing.

She laughs too. “Yeah. I wasn’t sure what to do when the four wheeler wouldn’t turn.”

We both ready ourselves to jump in if Luhan needed us. But after we saw Posung shift we knew it was over.

We both cheered jumping out of the tree. I was walking over to Luhan when I heard Kat.

“Kris!” She screamed turning around running. I quickly followed after her before getting scooped up by Luhan. “Lay!” She started screaming. “Lay!”

He then came out of the trees with Tao and Chen. Lay scooped her up running towards the general area Kris, Xiumin, and Sehun would be in.
