Ever More

We continued in the direction Kris was leading us for close to an hour. All of us were starting to get tired from the long day. The sun was already gone with the moon high in the sky. We decided to take a break to regain ourselves.

“Maybe we should try again tomorrow.” Luhan said sitting next to me. “I’m sure they’re camped out for the night.”

“I’m not going home without him.” I said shaking my head. I felt tears start to form in my eyes. Luhan put his arms around me in a hug.

I then got a calming feeling. I stood up scanning the area. “Did you feel that?” I asked them.
They all looked at me confused.

I started following it. “Sehun!” I called out running. They all stood up following me. “Sehun! Where are you?”

I then get to a river blocking me from my destination. I see some rocks sticking above the current and start jumping across.

“Maranda wait!” Luhan yelled after me.

I just ignored him. We were getting close and I was not letting him get away this time. “Sehun!”

“Maranda! Stop!” Kris yelled after me.

I kept running. Nothing was stopping me. Until Tao jumped in front of me. “Maranda!” He yelled at me. “Wait!”

“He is close! Why should I wait?” I yell back.

“Because he isn’t the only thing that’s close.” Kris says grabbing me.

Sehun’s POV

I hated doing this to everyone. But it was their only chance of getting out of this. Kris would go back. Hopefully making everyone else go with him. I decided to call it a night picking a close by cave. They wouldn’t do anything tonight. They want me to be in fear. The longer it took for us to find each other the happier they were. I think they prefer hunting me to catching me.

“Sehun!” I hear from the distance.

Maranda?

“Sehun! Where are you?”

What is she doing out here?

“Maranda! Wait!”

Luhan. Why are they still out here? Kris should have made them go back. I stand up moving in their direction.

“Sehun!”

I’m coming.

“Maranda! Stop!”

“Maranda! Wait!”

“He is close! Why should I wait?”

“Because he isn’t the only thing that’s close!”

I come out of the bushes seeing them all standing there out of breath. Maranda turned looking at me. “Sehun.” She breathed running over throwing her arms around my neck. I felt tears on my fur. I wrapped my arm around her changing.

“Maranda. You’re going to get hurt out here.” I say to her.

“I don’t care! I’m not going anywhere without you.”

I held her tighter feeling tears escape from my eyes.

“Aww how sweet little brother.”

I look up to see Jongmin leaning against a tree. I move Maranda behind me. “They have nothing to do with this.” I say gesturing to everyone else. “It’s just me you want.”

“No!” Maranda said grabbing my arm.

“Now baby brother. What kind of wolves do you take us for?” Kiyoung said coming from the trees.

“Yeah little one.” Posung said laughing. “Why would we hurt anyone?”

“This is enough.” Kris said standing in front of me. “We don’t need anyone getting hurt. Sehun left the pack. That doesn’t give you the right to hunt him.”

“Actually it does.” Jongmin said walking over to us. “You see. In our family, treachery is a serious offence. Sehun here deserted us in a major battle. As oldest brother and current alpha to the family. It’s my job to make sure he pays for his crime.”

“Fighting a war you started would have been a greater sin.” I yell at him.

“But! None the less. You broke the rule.” Jongmin said to me while Posung laughed.

“Shut up Hyena!” I yelled at him.

“I may be a hyena but at least I’m not wanted by the family.”

“Shut up both of you!” Jongmin yelled. “Alright. Sehun. I’ll make a deal with you. Spend one more night with your mate here. By sundown tomorrow be at the river. If you aren’t there. They get the war you were so against.” He then starts to walk away turning to wink at Maranda.

“Come find me when you want a real wolf.”

“Disgusting.” She says behind me once they are out of view. She then takes my hand. “Let’s go home and figure out a plan.” She says dragging me.

“Maranda. I am going to get all of you hurt. I’m meeting him tomorrow.” I say stopping her.

“Like hell you are!” Kat yelled. “You are part of our little family now. You aren’t going anywhere.”

“Yeah. I mean. It’s good having you around.” Luhan adds. “Who else is going to help me keep these two alive when Kris isn’t around?”

“Three against seven. How hard can it be?” Xiumin says.

“So it’s agreed?” Kris says. “We prepare for tomorrow.” He then changes crouching down for Kat before he leaves with her. The rest of them following suit. Luhan had paused for a moment looking at Maranda then followed.

“Kris has even made up his mind. There’s no going back.” She says to me.
I lean down kissing her deeply. “I’m sorry for all of this. I thought I was doing the right thing.”

“I’m not upset with you. I know you did it to protect me. You were just stupid to think I would listen to you.” She says laughing.

I laugh at her then change into my wolf. I kneel down for her. Once she was settled we headed for the houses to plan.

Maranda’s POV

We all sat around the living room discussing what we were going to do. Kat with her egg in her lap.

“Ok so we will send Sehun in waiting for them.” Kris said. “The rest of us will cover the surrounding area. They shouldn’t pick up on our scents. It’s everywhere anyway. Once they are in the clearing at the river we come out ready.”

“Where do you want each of us?” Xiumin asked looking over the map.

“Lay and Tao will be here.” He says pointing. “Then Chen I want you here. Luhan, you are going to be with Maranda here. Xiumin will be in these trees. And Kat will be with me here.”

“I don’t like the idea of using Sehun as bait.” I say laying my head back.

“It’s the only way to surprise them.” Kris says looking over the map. He then looks up at Sehun.

“What should we expect?”

“Kiyoung is the smallest but don’t let that fool you. He is fast. He will be in front of you one minute then on your back the next. He is going to have to be double teamed at least. Posung is cocky. He will think he has you no matter what. He’ll also make jokes at you the whole time to knock you off your game. He likes to play so he is going to need someone with a lot of energy or they’ll be taken out quick.” He then breathes in deeply. “Jongmin is ruthless. One wrong move and your throat is open. He doesn’t play first. He just thinks kill while fighting. And he doesn’t care if he gets hurt. It’s almost a thrill for him.”

“Alright. Then Lay, Tao, and Chen your focus is Kiyoung. Once we have their attentions Luhan, Maranda, and Kat go after Posung. I know the three of you can knock him off that pedestal. Sehun and Xiumin we’ll go after Jongmin.”

“I’m going to go get some air.” I say going outside. I walk into the barn picking up a few knives. I started practicing for tomorrow when I hear the barn door open. I turn to see Sehun. “Hand me another knife?” I ask him after throwing the last one in my hand.

He picks up a few more handing me one. He then growls harshly dropping them.

“Careful!” I say walking over to check his hand. “The blades are silver. I thought you knew.” I run my fingers over the burn on his palm. Then bringing it to my face kissing it.

“So I was thinking.” He says breaking our silence.

“What’s that?” I ask looking up smiling at him.

“That tonight might be our last night together.” He says pushing back a piece of hair. “So we should make it count.” He then trails his fingers down to my neck stopping at my collar bone before kissing it.

I bring his face to mine kissing him deeply. He lifts me up with one arm moving us to the pile of hay. He starts kissing down my neck. I feel him start to lightly bite before moving up to my ear.

“Ask me again.” He whispers in almost a growl.

“Mark me.” I say running my fingers through his hair. His lips then come crashing down onto mine. I take off my shirt breaking our kiss to throw it away. Sehun quickly got rid of my jeans and panties while I unhooked my bra sending it flying.

We weren’t wasting anytime. I felt one of his hands feel inside of me to see if I was ready. He removed it throwing one of my legs over his shoulder. He entered me roughly causing me to groan. I felt his chest vibrate from his growl. I loved the way he sounded. We both were moving roughly against each other. His hand moved down my body stopping to rub on my clit.

I started crying out from the pleasure being met by his growls. I knew I wasn’t going to last much longer. The pressure inside me was building fast. My breath started quickening. Sehun noticed moving to kissing and sucking on my neck. As I started to cum I felt his teeth break the skin on my neck. I cried out his name louder from the pleasure and pain that I was feeling.
He then howled loudly as he let go of my neck cumming deep inside of me. We both came down breathing heavily. He leaned up kissing me softly. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” I say kissing him again.

He gets up going to get my jeans that he threw all the way across the barn. I reach over putting my shirt back on. I put on my jeans when he hands them to me. We try to sneak out of the barn to go to my house.

Sehun opens the barn door peaking his head around to look. “Ok coast looks clear.” He whispers taking my hand leading me out.

Kat’s POV

I notice a smirk on Kris’s face as we were sitting on the couch. “What’s that look for?”

“Oh, nothing. You’ll find out when Luhan comes to get you.”

“What?” I ask confused. I then hear Luhan run into the room grabbing my arm and pulling me out the back door to the tree behind the house. In that tree was our secret tunnel to get in and out of Maranda’s shack.

“Come on Kat! We gotta go to Maranda’s shack.” He says pulling me into the tunnel.

“I’m all for going to Maranda’s shack. But why are we going?”

He then turns around stopping me. “You didn’t hear that howl?”

“That was Sehun?” I ask excitedly. I speed passed him down the tunnel and realize he is not behind me. “You’re a werewolf why are you going so slowly?” I ask him turning around.

He quickly catches up to me as I am opening the floor board in her closet to get in. We quickly go over to the couch to wait for them.

We then hear the door unlock seeing Maranda and Sehun walking in.

“How the hell do you guys do that?” She yells at us confused. Sehun was looking over the door to make sure the lock works.

“Well Maranda if we told you it would be no fun.” I say back to her.

“We wouldn’t have snuck in if someone wasn’t howling.” Luhan says glancing at Sehun.

“Yeah Maranda. What is that on your neck?” I ask leaning down resting my chin on my hand.

She rolled her eyes at both of us. “Well, tonight could be our last night together so why wouldn’t we?”

“You guys are just too loud!” Luhan says with a laugh. “We all heard you in the house.”

“At least I’m getting some.” Maranda says straight faced to him.

I started dying from laughter falling back on the couch. “Luhan you got dissed!” I say through gasps of laughter.

“Fuck you guys!” He says as he storms out of the house.

I stand up following out the door. “I don’t think Kris would like that!” I yell after him.

Maranda’s POV

“Sorry about them again.” I say setting down my keys in the bowl by the door.

“I’m used to it.” He says laughing. He wraps me into a back hug then kissed up my shoulder to my mark. I moaned from his kiss and felt my knees buckle causing me to fall into him. He then laughs again. “Sorry. It’s still sensitive.”

I then feel both of us become serious. I turn around wrapping my arms around his waist while laying my head on his chest. “I don’t want tonight to be it.” I say feeling tears start to fall from my eyes.

“It won’t be.” He says holding me tighter. “Kris’s plan will work. Nine against three.”

“Three that you are afraid of.” I say looking up at him.

He leans down kissing my forehead. “Not when I’m with you.”

“I’m just scared.” I say feeling more tears leave my eyes. I looked at his chest then started tracing the scares with my fingers.

“Maranda. We are going to get through this.” He says taking my hand in his. “Tomorrow I am going to meet them and we are all going to surprise them. Jongmin is not going to see this coming. He still thinks I’m a coward and a traitor.”

“You’re not.” I say wiping a tear from my cheek. “A coward wouldn’t have went looking for them to protect their mate.” I then kiss the hand that was holding mine.

“Let’s go to bed. We have a long day ahead of us. You need your rest to play with Posung.” He then gives me one of his genuine smiles before kissing me.
