Ever More

It had been about a month since Sehun arrived. We spent almost every moment with each other during the day. He would go with me as I walked through the forest then take me home before leaving. I would wake up the next morning then walk to the forest edge waiting for him.

Today was no different. “Good morning.” I hear him say walking up behind me to wrap me in a hug. I had been reading and didn’t hear him.

“Good morning.” I say turning my head to kiss him.

“Hey I found something cool! Let’s go.” He says taking my hand dragging me into the forest. I drop my book following him.

“When did you have the time to find something?” I ask laughing.

“Well I couldn’t sleep last night so I just wondered around for a bit and I found this.” He says moving some bushes.

I look down seeing a dragon egg. “Sehun!” I gasp at him.

“Cool huh! Kat is going to flip!”

I then realize the severity of the situation. “Oh shit. Sehun what if the parent comes back? We should leave.” I say taking his hand.

“I don’t think anyone is coming back for it. I was here all night and nothing.”

“Well it had to get here somehow. Dragon eggs don’t just appear.” I say gesturing to it. “What do we do with it?”

“I figured we’d take it to Kat.” He says laughing.

I stare down at it still not sure. “You are positive there isn’t a dragon around here about to kill us for being around its egg?”

“Positive.” He says nodding.

“Be prepared to have a new best friend then.” I say huffing.

He bends down carefully picking up the egg. Its grey color caused the light to reflect in almost a glittering affect. I take off my jacket wrapping it up so Kat wouldn’t see it until we were right in front of her. We made our way back to the house. Luhan was chasing Tao around the clearing as we came out. They both saw us walking up and made their way over to us.

“Hey. What’s that?” Tao asked pointing to the bundle in Sehun’s hands.

“Oh just a little surprise for Kat.” I say smiling walking passed them with Sehun close behind.

They both followed us into the house wanting to know what we found. “Here Kitty kitty kitty!” I yell out looking for her.

She then walks round the corner from her room. “What do you want?” She asks flopping on the couch.

“Well if you are going to act like that. Then maybe we won’t give you the surprise.” I say crossing my arms.

“Surprise?” She asks then sees Sehun. “What did you bring me?” She asks excitedly.

“Close your eyes and put out your hands.” I say laughing. She does as instructed. Sehun carefully sets it in her hands taking my jacket. “Ok. Open.”

She opens her eyes and instantly screams from excitement. She brings it close to her hugging it and almost bouncing in her seat.

Kris then comes running into the room hearing her scream. “What happened?”

“I have a dragon egg!” She screams at him holding it up.

He looks at her in disbelief. “No, no, no.” He says shaking his head. “Kat you can’t keep it.”

She then looks at him with a bitch please look. “Oh I’m keeping it.”

“You don’t even know how to take care of a dragon.” He starts in.

I look over at Sehun to tell him it was time for us to leave. He follows my lead as we escape out the door to my house. He falls onto the couch bringing me with him. I lay on top of him with my head resting on his chest. I start running my fingers along the scares tracing them.

“Maranda.” He says breaking our silence.

“Hmm?” I ask looking up at him.

He pulls me up to his face by my arms kissing me. He then looks me straight in the eyes. He looked almost conflicted with what he wanted to say. “I love you.” He finally let out.

I was shocked by what he told me. I lied there looking at him trying to process what he said.
He then broke our silence. “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have said anything.” He then puts his head back not looking at me.

I grab his face pulling him in kissing him passionately. When I broke away I continued holding his face. “I love you too.”

He sits up making me straddle his waist kissing me roughly. I wrap my arms around his shoulders running my fingers through his hair. He moves to kissing and nibbling on my neck. I start letting out light moans. “Mark me.” I whisper in his ear.

He quickly snaps his head back looking at me. “What?”

“Mark me.” I say to him in a more sure tone.

He looks away from me with a pained expression. “I can’t.” He finally says.

I start to get confused. I pull his face to look at me. “Why? I want you to.”

“Maranda. I want to. But.”

“No buts. Sehun I love you. This is what I want.”

“I can’t stay here.” He says looking away from me again.

“Then I’ll go with you. I want to be with you.” I say trying to make him look at me.

“I can’t.” He says moving me from on his lap leaving the house.

I get up running out the door to stop him but he was already gone. “Sehun!” I yell hoping for him to come back.

Kat’s POV

“Sehun!” I hear Maranda yelling.

“And another thing Kat!” Kris continued. “What if whoever it belongs to shows up looking for it?”

“Sehun!” I hear Maranda call again.

“Not now Kris.” I say to him shutting him up. I walk over opening the door seeing Maranda standing on her porch. I set the egg down in the arm chair going to Maranda to see what’s going on. She turns to me in tears. “What happened?” I ask her surprised at the state she is in.

“I don’t know.” She says wiping tears. “I asked him to mark me and he just said he can’t and that he can’t stay here. So I told him I would leave with him but he just said no again and left.”
I wrap her in a hug then see Luhan walking up. “What’s going on?” He asked worried.

“Stay here with her.” I say to him letting go. “I’ll fix this.” I say to her walking away. I go back into the house seeing Kris waiting for me.

“Is she ok?” He asks moving to me from the window he had been looking out of.

“We need to go find Sehun.” I say grabbing my jacket.

He nods his head undressing to be able to change. We walk outside where he changes lowering down for me to get on his back. He sniffs the air then takes off into the trees. We found him quickly sitting next to a river.

“Sehun?” I say as I get off Kris. He wipes away some tears not looking over at us. Kris changes walking over with me. I sit down next to him. “What’s wrong?”

“I can’t give her what she wants. I can’t stay here with her.” He says in almost a whisper.

“She just wants you. She doesn’t care if she has to move around.” I say reassuringly.

“That’s what her whole life will be though. I can’t give her a house, a family. I can’t give her a real life.”

“You know she lives in a shack right? Not a house. A shack.”

“It’s still more then I can give her. It’s not safe with me.”

“Why wouldn’t she be safe with you? You fought a mountain lion already for her and won.” I say nudging him. “She really loves you.” I see him wipe away another tear. “She doesn’t care about trivial things. She has a room in my mansion but she doesn’t like how fancy it is. I’m always finding her asleep in or under a tree in the mornings. If you asked her to leave with you she wouldn’t even hesitate.”

“Why isn’t she safe?” Kris asks sitting on the other side of him. Knowing there was other meanings that had nothing to do with mountain lions.

Sehun looks over at him with a pained look. “I’m not safe.”

Kris looks at him understandingly. “When will they be here?” He says sternly.

“I don’t know.” He says shaking his head. “This is the longest I have been in one place and they haven’t shown up.”

“You’re not going anywhere.” Kris says standing up. “Get up.” He instructs when Sehun didn’t move. “I said get up!”

Sehun stood up turning to him. “I can’t put you all through this.” He says looking down.

“You haven’t done anything. And I said you aren’t going anywhere.” He says sternly to him.

“Now go fix this.” He says nodding towards the houses.

Sehun runs off towards the houses as I walk over to Kris. “So. Are we getting ready for a fight?” I ask him putting my head on his arm.

“Well. I didn’t think you would want your best friend to leave.” He says trying to play it off cool.

“Oh admit it. You have a soft spot for him and don’t want them to leave either.” I say smiling up at him.

“Shut up.” He says before changing.

Sehun’s POV

I walk into the clearing seeing Luhan sitting with Maranda on the stairs. Luhan looks up seeing me. He nudges Maranda to look up then hugs her before walking over to the house. I change then walk over to her. I notice she had been crying.

I lift her up hugging her. “I’m sorry.” I say kissing the top of her head.

“Let’s go inside.” She says wiping her face. I follow her in sitting on the couch with her sitting on my lap with her had on my chest.

“I really do love you. And I want to be with you too.” I say to her breaking our silence.

“I don’t want to talk right now, Sehun.” She says shaking her head.

I look down at her small frame. “Then let me show you.” I say picking her up. I walk into the bedroom putting her down before crawling on top of her kissing her deeply.

I broke the kiss moving to sucking on her neck. Her hands tangled themselves in my hair as her body pressed against mine. I moved my hands to the bottom of her shirt pulling it over her head before throwing it across the room. I went back to devouring her neck while getting rid of her jeans. I slowly slid them down her legs before throwing them.

She opens her legs more wrapping them around me. One of her hands moved down my chest and stomach before wrapping around me. I let out low growls from her stroking me. I ripped off her bra before moving down to her chest. She started letting out gasps trying to hold in her moans. I started going rougher wanting to hear her. When I finally got what I wanted I kissed down her stomach before taking off her panties with my teeth. She had let go of me so I could move down to her feet to completely remove them. I kissed and nipped up the inside of her leg. I kissed between her legs making her slightly jump from pleasure.

I dove in licking every inch of her. She tasted just like she smelled. Sweet, like wildflowers. Her moans started getting louder as I feel her fingers grip into my hair. I kissed back up her going to her open mouth. She was still trying to catch her breath as I engulfed her with mine. She opened her legs farther telling me she was ready. I continued kissing her as one hand went down her leg throwing it over my shoulder. With one stroke I was all the way in her. She broke the kiss moving her head to cry out. Her walls beginning to clench onto me. I waited a moment for her body to relax and adjust to me.

Once her breathing was even again I started pumping in and out of her. She quickly picked up my rhythm moving with me. I let out more growls every time she clinched against me. Her breathing started to quicken as both of us were getting close. Her moans becoming louder still. My growls becoming louder too as I devoured her neck again.

We both cried out when we came. She clinched against me tightly pulsating as she reached her climax. I kept pumping into her filling her up as I came harder. When we both came down I carefully pulled out of her making her gasp. I kissed her passionately while moving the blanket to cover us.

I pulled her into my chest cradling her as she started drifting off to sleep. “I love you.” She said wrapping her arms around me.

“I love you too.” I said kissing the top of her head. It wasn’t long before she fell asleep. I carefully unwrapped her arms from me getting off the bed. I found a piece of paper and a pen writing the note for her.

I felt tears start to form in my eyes as I wrote. I finished it placing it on the pillow I had been using. I kissed her forehead one last time. “I’m sorry.” I whispered before leaving her house.
