Jungkook

I went to school on Monday, prepared to be ignored by Luna, but when I entered the classroom as usual, the seat behind me was empty.
Our teacher did the register, but did not call out Luna's name. Was Luna sick or something?
"Sophia." I called her in the corridor just before Drama."Have you seen Luna anywhere?"
"No sorry." Sophia apologised. "I have to get to PE now, I'll catch you later?" Then Sophia ran towards the changing rooms.
During lunchtime I called Luna's phone, but it was off, just like it was two days ago. I don't even know how I managed to pass through the day without worrying to death. Was I bit too harsh, I didn't expect the situation to into this either.
I headed out immediately after school to the direction of Luna's house. Then I saw Jimin hyung standing by the lamppost, he grinned as he saw me, then he gestured me to come over.
"Hey, Jimin hyung." I smiled.
"Kookie, you've grown much taller." He said as he nodded towards his car. "Are you heading towards anywhere, can I give you a ride?"
"Well, actually, I was wondering..." I started awkwardly. "If I could see Luna? I mean I don't know where she is or anything."
"Of course." Jimin nodded. "Actually I came wanting to ask you to come and visit her. She seems a bit down recently. Anything going on between you two?"
"Um..No." I quickly denied it and looked down.
"Really?" Jimin raised an eyebrow. "You guys don't seem as close as before. You do know you can tell me everything right?"
"Yes."
"Well good, get in." Jimin opened the door and I quickly hopped in and we left. Luna's parents' house were extremely close to the school, it was only a ten minutes walk, but because Luna's parents are over protective of her, they still drive her everyday.
It has been a while since I've been in the house. I used to come over almost every week or so, but ever since the start of this year, after she developed a crush over Rap monster, I've been trying to avoid coming to her house.
It was still decorated the same. The second floor was completely Luna's. There was her makeuproom. Then there was her bedroom which was decorated pink for her liking. I remember she had the biggest bedroom because she hates tight spaces. I thought back about the times we used to spend together. Maybe I was a bit harsh.
Jimin left me to go upstairs myself. I opened the door and there was Luna, sleeping. Her hair was spread out across the pillow forming a perfect heart shape. She was breath-taking.
I slowly walked towards her and fixed the irregular strand of hair across her forehead. Her eyes suddenly flicked open at my touch and she immediately sat up.
"Jungkook?" She asked. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to visit you. What happened to you?" I asked looking at the pile of medicine scattered across the dressing table and also a bandage on her hand.
"Jungkook, seriously." She rolled her eyes. "You are asking me, do you know what I went through?"
I didn't speak, but I was upset by the way she was treating me right now
"I had three bottles of wine that day. I had alcohol poisoning." Luna laughed out loud, with tears streaming down her face. " I sliced my hand with the glass because, I thought...I thought..no one loved me anymore."

Luna

I bet I looked like a mess. I wasn't wearing mascara or eyeliner that day. Thank God. If I did, my whole face would have been black now by the time I've finished crying. So there I was, crying in front of Jungkook like a maniac.
I thought he would just continue to watch me cry, but instead he went forwards and locked me in his hug. It was a very tight hug, I felt like my body would be squeezed into a pancake if he had hugged me for ten seconds longer.
"Jungkook." I said, panting while looking at him, astonished.
"I'm sorry." Jungkook wiped away my tears before lifting my face up, for a second I thought that he was going to kiss me. But instead he just pinched my nose and jumping up.
"Yahhhh." I leapt up to catch him but he was too fast. In the end we both collided and landed on my bed. He was literally on top me, which was, VERY EMBARRASSING.
"Come on, get changed, I'll take you somewhere." He then got off me as if nothing happened, but he was really bad at hiding it because his face was like a tomato.
"Where are we going?" I asked, going to the closet.
"I can't tell you."
"Then how am I supposed to know what to change into?" I asked.
"Just something casual and comfy is good." He replied before leaving me alone in my room. I opened my closet and picked out an outfit, just like he asked, it was a casual outfit perfect for an outing.
"How is this?" I spun around, showing him my outfit.
"Wow." He grinned before turning stern again. "Park Jin-ah, do you accept my apology?"
"Duh, of course." I laughed. "You are now officially my best friend again."

Jungkook

The innocent words best friend seemed to be very harmful right now. How I wished Luna and I were something more than just friends, but what can I do? She liked Rap Monster, my only option was to stay by her side all the time.
I told Jimin about my plan to take Luna and he nodded but he seemed to be worried about something, but when I asked him what he was worried about, he didn't tell me. So I just didn't think about that and I dragged Luna to the back of my bicycle.
"I swear you have a car." Luna giggled.
"yes, but I thought you would like to go on a bicycle" I answered, I must admit, two people on a bicycle makes it really hard to cycle, but oh well.
"At least it's new." She leaned against my back. I tensed up, but I loosened down after feeling Luna shift around.
"Are you ok?" Luna's head peered over.
"Don't do that." I pushed her head back. "You could fall."
"Ok." Luna seemed disappointed.
Soon, our destination unraveled before our eyes. The huge ferris wheel was in front of us, the theme park at night was lit up by beautiful lights, which made it even more prettier.
"Kookie, it's so beautiful." Luna linked arms with me as we walked up to the rides.
"Which one would you want to go on first?" I asked her.
"That rollercoaster." She pointed. "But I am a bit scared."
"It's alright." I whispered. "I'll protect you."

Luna

I got really freaked out by the drop of the rollercoaster. I held onto Jungkook's arms as we boarded the rollercoaster.
"Ready?" I asked him. He nodded, that was when I realised, his eyes seemed to have a twinkle in them whenever he smile. It was absolutely beautiful.
The first drop wasn't that extreme, but it still had me squeal like a pig. I screamed at the second drop though, as it was vertical. But hell yah, that was so fun.
It made me completely forget my accident of binge drinking. We had hot chocolates after words, before going on the ferris wheel.
"Let's go back now." I muttered sleepily.
"Ok." I felt Jungkook gently pat my head. That was the best day.

Jungkook

I managed to get Luna back just passed eight, which gives me plenty of time to get home and still able to do my homework.
"Hey." Jimin reappeared after dropping Luna back to bed.
"Yes?" I turned.
"I have a question to ask you." Jimin said.
"sure." I answer without hesitating.
"Tell me the truth. Do you like Luna?" Jimin leaned closer.
"hmm." I didn't know how to reply. "I...do."
"I've been watching Luna, I don't think she understands your feelings." Jimin sighed. "Sometimes girls are like that, they aimlessly like a man that would never like her back. She has been telling me how she really likes Rap Monster?"
"Yes, that's a boy from our school."
"But, have you thought about..what if Luna never love you?"
"Sometimes." I sighed. "I think that being able to watch her be happy is enough, whether it is with me or with someone else."

Notes

Hello! Yes, I know I made it so that Jungkook and Luna are now back as friends. But if you read the description of the story you would know that Luna is desperately in love with Rap monster. Even though I haven't shown this much, Rap monster will appear soon. That is when Sophia betrays Luna and Rap monster tries to kill Luna. Not going to spoil anymore.

A week left until my birthday. So excited.
