So Much For Being Siblings

I woke up half an hour later than usual the next day. I wasn't able to fall asleep because I was still hype after Suga left.
"Kana! Are you up yet? Jimin is already ready to leave!" my mom called from downstairs.
I groaned and yelled back, "It's fine! Tell him to go! I just got up! He can leave without me!"
I quickly got up, brushed my teeth, took a two minute shower, got dressed, took my backpack and was ready to leave. Even though I tried to do everything as fast as I could, it still took me twenty minutes. 'I'm screwed. Imma be late' I thought as I headed down the stairs.
When I headed downstairs, I saw Jimin standing there. He looked up. "Ah. Finally. Let's go." He said walking towards the door.
I stopped right where I was standing. "Jimin? Why are you still here? I told you to go. You didn't need to wait for me."
He didn't look at me directly. Instead, he took my hand and dragged me out the door. "I wanted to wait for you. Now let's go. Or we'll be REALLY late."
We walked for a while in silence. I face became hot for whatever reason.
'Jimin wanted to wait for me?' I thought. I smile must've formed on my face becase Jimin asked, "What are you smiling about?"
That made me snap out of it. "Nothing." I told Jimin.
Jimin looked at me with an uncertain face, then kept walking.
As we approached the school, we walked quickly to our class seeing that there were pretty much no students outside. We were really late.
Jimin and I ran to our first period class. Math. We rushed into the door. The second we did, the whole class became quiet and every eye was one us. Then the room filled with 'ooo' and 'aaaa' and screams. I titled my head, very confused. Jimin seemed to be confused too. What was going on?
And then I started hearing people say 'OMG!! They're dating?!' or 'Loverbirds!', and even 'Couple Alert! Couple Alert!'
"What? We're not dating? Why are you guys saying that?" I asked, my face turning red.
All the guys pointed to the direction between Jimin and I. I looked down.
.......Jimin was still holding my hand.
Immediately I pulled my hand away. Jimin, realizing the situation, also pulled his hand away.
I held my hand up and said, "No! It's not like that! You guys got it wrong! I was too slow because I woke up late! Jimin had to drag me out of the house!"
My math teacher raised her eyebrows and asked, "You two already live together? My goodness. Young people these days!"
That got the class worked up. People started screaming and asking if we 'did it' last night.
"Guys!" I screamed. "Listen! You didn't let me finish! Jeez! We're not dating! Jimin is my brother!"
And then there was a whole other 'oooooh' ceremony. Finally after everyone knew what was going on, I sat down in my seat and the lesson continued.
