2. One Question, One Straight Answer

"Park Jimin, one question; one straight answer. . ."

She swear she could taste crude blood gushing out from all the chews she made inside her mouth forming a small scrunch on her face but quickly covered it with a quirky smile.

"Do you have any feelings towards Chaemin of Sonyeoniq? Not just as a friend or anything but something else?"

Not only are the fans nervous of his answer but also the maknae of the group Sonyeoniq. Of course, he is her ultimate bias. She fidgeted trying to bar down her uneasiness. The tensed atmosphere is no help to her now palpitating heart that might want to combust into robust flames at some point. Although never been as scrupulous as before, she finds it bizarre for the talk show to invite just the two of them— which means no other members from either of the group. Guess they really did this for a purpose. Yes, no matter how much she wants to get whiny and complain how this has all started before she could even sit atop this crazy scarlet-slicked stool that makes no sense as of how its height is almost as of an average 8-year old kid. . . She just can't and she doesn't even know either. She shouldn't even be acting all uneasy as this was like the 103rd time he's been asked about the same old question but no matter what, she still feels like every new interview with the same thing is just like the very first time, that's why. . . or maybe it's just this piece of atrocity her butt is lying on that's bothering her all the time.

Jimin took a deep breath first as if coming into a decision that's made her even more nervous and right at the moment he looked at her straight in the eye— it now felt like a bullet has plunged inside her quivering heart— reason for it to completely stop. But the moment he spoke, it was quickly replaced by thousands of fluttering butterflies inside her stomach. To think, it’s crazy and funny how not even a minute has passed, Yri already had like thousands of emotions harboring inside her. . .

"I-I'm sorry b-but. . ."

The stuttering of his words made her bit her lip to only realize the unpleasant taste was still there but she couldn't even have time to react when she tried not to get her eyes swollen because any minute now, she'll be a crying mess— and everyone knows how when Yri starts to break down, it just won't stop.

"Yes, I really love Chaemin."

This unexpected answer left the audience with a flabbergasted expression as well as this girl before him—Yri, who turned to look at him with mouth agape and eyes filled with screaming questions looking for detailed answers from the inexplicable scenario that has just happened, but he's already staring at the audience with a curled up smile that usually means something but right now is nothing for her, still confused.

"I'm sorry to all of my fans but my heart. . ." He paused and slowly, dramatically looked at her with that melting stare, "it chose my Chemmy."

She took a break from all the confusion and blinked firmly for once, trying to ensure she's living in reality.

"Please don't be upset, ARMY, but all I know now is that I really love Chaemin—notas a member of Sonyeoniq— butas Yri Beatrizellewhom I fell in love the first time I met her."

This cheesy remark can easily make her laugh anytime but instead, her heart raced with a feeling of an unknown sensation only to get worse the moment Jimin touched her hand with that distinct smile everyone knows. The once roaring studio was filled nothing but a long deafening silence. Seems like her whole world has completely stopped and all that she could ever see is his face beaming up before her very eyes. Just then, the crowd erupted into joyous cheers. Some even cried, screamed, fangirled like crazy, and even hugged each other like all they have witnessed was pure drama and it was only Yri with a slack-jawed expression who seemed to not hear anything— or maybe planning to pour gallons of oil to make her gears working back again.

"ChaemChim forever!"

Soon, this chant was cheered more with an increasing amount of audience wanting the scene to happen that some even demanded with deafening shrieks they had to cover their bleeding ears. This unbelievable act has diverted her attention back to reality she still refuses to understand how all of the fans are so supportive about this thing when all she knew is that she'll only get bashed to death from it. She wasn't even aware that she's now crying from all the overwhelming feeling but still not over about her never-ending emotions a while ago— including the stool that's surprisingly not bothered her for now.

She never had the slightest idea right from the start— the beginning of everything, back when she was still an ordinary fangirl; an ordinary fangirl that no one understands why she cries every night thinking how her bias would never notice her nor will he ever know her name that right now is sitting in front of her, still having slight discomfort about the high stools, giving an all-out confession of how he 'truly' feels about her.

Jimin pouted seeing her never-ending tears falling down, "Chemmy, why are you crying?"
"Th-this? This is just a joke, right?"

Truth is, she wanted to tell him how much she's crazy in love him and all of her pitiful fangirl antics before this unrealistic scene happened but all that came out was a stammering that no one in the world can make out from as she hit him gently on his surprisingly toned chest that was actually meant to be a powerful punch to send him away— just to check if she's still living in a real world. What do you expect? She'll just go dive in for a kiss? Of course not, unlike any other drama you've watched or read— when you're mixed with different emotions, even though one can do something really unpredictable, they still can't go on 'crashing their lips' together because trust me, it must've hurt as hell.

"You know Chemmy, to be honest. . ." He looked down first and give out a coy smile almost as if he's literally smiling because of how happy the floor was as much as any other fans right now and turned his gaze to be locked upon hers, "I'm so happy we feel the same way towards each other."

He cupped her cold cheeks from all the tears as he tried to wipe them away but it just keeps on falling like before so might as well his hands are smeared with her cold tears and how the studio is filled with cold breeze that's likely why everything feels slightly freezing— except for their burning hearts enshrouded with passion.

"You don't really have to pretend in front of these—"

Paying no heed to these words, Jimin continued to confess.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't have the courage to tell you— you know howshyI am."

He once again pouted but this time in a cute manner, although shocked; she just couldn't help but hug him tight. He was of course, surprised, but he hugged back as he gently kissed her forehead that was even more surprising for her.

They were even hesitating to both utter 'I love you' to each other as they knew how awkward it is if they would, so all that came out were inaudible soft voices saying the casual way of exchanging affection as the two of them released a hearty laugh together at the cheesiness.
The frenzied crowd's screams were of crescendo until it was gradually turning into moderate chants saying 'KISS!' repeatedly but obviously a demand that needs to be done right away or they'll go tantrums.

"Ohoho, do you hear that?" The host cockily smirked as he looked at them with a quick wink— almost as if it meant something more— something inappropriate for either Jimin's or Yri's understanding.

Before one of them could even respond, he already shifted back to the audience with a glimmering teeth flashed, "Alright, alright. Calm down, they will."

The two, again, didn't even have the time to react when the audience got even louder that's about to lose all their remaining calm right now it's deafening so Jimin covered Yri's ears.

"Chem, I promise this will berealquick," he nervously said and paused to search for her gaze and continued with a tone of balking, "okay?"

Albeit Yri's immobilization from all the enthralling drama, Jimin's the one to make the move— he started to inch his face closer and closer to hers. . . Until their foreheads and eyes finally met together in a not-so intimate gazes, to be exact. He then gently grabbed a handful of her soft, dropped-down wavy strawberry blonde ombre hair in his grasp with his other glistening hand from the fresh tears Yri gave off as he tilted his head to get a good angle from the audience— their lips got nearer and nearer to each other and every inch makes the audience even more untamable than before until their lips has finally

"Yri Beatrizelle!"

Yri sprung from the seat giving a surprise slap to the one who just yelled at her from the shock.

"Oww!"

She weakly rubbed her eyes first and yawned as if she wasn't aware of she's done because deep in her half-asleep brain, it's still processing what just happened. The moment she realized it's Yuki, she quickly covered her mouth and hugged the one whom she just slapped. She kept on saying 'sorry' again and again as if it's a never-ending apology like one of those action dramas where the protagonist accidentally shoots an ally— or perhaps that someone you should never mess up with or you'll trigger the depths of hell inside it.

"I'm so sorry, Yuki!" She stretched her arms out to release from the tight hug only to cover her mouth again, "Omg omg you're not gonna kill me, are you?"

"I'm-"

"Shtshtsht what should I do? I'm really sorry I was just sleeping and you—"

Yuki bit her lip, trying to keep her calm and not wanting to lose her temper, so in the calmest way as possible, she tried to bestow and pick out her 'nicest' words, "No, really I'm fine I-"

"I'm going to die right now what the heck have I done?" Yri dramatically placed her right hand on her forehead, "Have I already awaken the demon inside her?" She finished up as she picked up a small plushie bunny lying somewhere near Lili's seat with a horrified expression thinking it'll actually answer back.

"One more countdown and your phones will be confiscated!"

Both of them flinched back hearing their manager with that terrifying yell from the outside.

"God, Yri just get the fck out I don't have time to explain right now!"

Yuki immediately got back to her serious mode, not wanting to look like a fool with that expression and with that, she dragged Yri out of the car who is still dazed. Yuki slipped her grip off her reddened arm completely as she was running too fast and just yelled out, "Hurry up, slowpoke!"

Instead of catching up, Yri just stood there, feeling weight on her shoulders as it was dragging her down for the reason that not only is she confused but disappointed as well. That dream was just. . . so realistic. She would constantly remind herself everything is fake every time she dreams of that same scenario, but again, still ends up believing every new dream are real— just like the rest from the past.

Apart from that, she also realized Jimin was singing a sweet mellow song to her until she fell into a deep slumber that must've caused her dream. He ended the call already when he didn't get a response from her after finishing the song or worse— he heard her unfeminine snoring and laughed again before ending the call which is really embarrassing for her.

She yawned for like the sixth time and scratched her head in an irritated manner, getting the dream off her mind, as she prepared herself and made one last look on her phone's screen wallpaper to smile faintly.

"Ihatethat Iloveyou so much. . ." She muttered full of frustration and firmly locked her phone.

"Too bad, I wasn't there to witness how he confessed."

Almost giving her a heart attack, Yri managed to calmly speak as she turned to whoever has just put its arms over her shoulder— Lili.

"How did y—"

Lili just gave a soft laugh, "Maybe I just know you too well. Hurry up!"

With that, she jogged off into a distant, through the backstage of where they will be performing.
Followed up by a deep exhale, those loud and clear fanchants and screams keep Yri wide awake. A feeble smile to her face was formed as she walked real slow with her head down low.

As she hear the fanchants growing louder by the second she gets nearer, she hurriedly made her way to get to their backstage and change her outfit for the last performance while the makeup artists do their job for the last minute like everyone else does.

But as soon as had sat down in front of the mirror, she almost forgot her hair was dark brown— she swears it was strawberry-blonde ombre maybe an hour ago or so. After another minute of trying hard to remember how it magically transformed, she eventually shrugged it off— coming into a conclusion that it is but another 'dream' which should've been the obvious answer since a couple of minutes ago.

"Okay girls, this is our last performance today, we should give our best!" Inna, their leader, now said her usual empowering words as they all joined for a group hug and patted each other’s' backs as always before every performance for encouragement and to lessen nervousness.

"Sonyeoniq fighting!"

Just like any other group, they would raise their hands up in the air like reaching up the stars high up and all took a deep breath first before stepping out onto the well-prepared stage and as soon as they have stepped into the spotlight, the crowd has erupted into the wildest cheers again.

"Sonyeoniq! Sonyeoniq! Sonyeoniq!"

And this is one of the best parts in every performance— things get real when the lights first turn off as the girls ensure their earpieces on, but they can still hear the crowd's deafening screams.

"For Bangtan Sonyeondan. . ."

This is her method of diminishing her stage-fright and extreme anxiety before performing onstage because she always gets nervous even though she has been on the industry for almost two years already. Especially the fans' screams— it just makes everything a hundred times more intense. For her, it feels like every next performance is still the first time performing in front of many people again— one wrong move, everything will be a failure.

". . . And for Park Jimin."
