Chiyun glanced at her phone beside her textbook as she listened to her professor lecture.
There was a text from Taehyung suggesting they spend the evening atop her dorm building as they sometimes did. She knew she would have to wait until the end of class to reply, she quickly continued to to take down her notes.
"Don't forget that we are going to be testing in a few days in preparation for midterm exams."
The professor chided, she bustled back up to the chalk board and began to wipe it off. There were grumbles from people around the room who weren't done with those notes.
Namjoon leaned over, now that class was officially finished, and glanced down at her notes some of which were incomplete.
"Chiyun-ssi, do you need some of these?"
"Mm? Ne, thank you Namjoon-oppa." She smiled softly at him and he offered her his notebook.
There was a distinct scoffing sound behind them, Chiyun knew it was better not to turn around but she couldn't help it.

The source of the sound was a young man who held his nose higher than everyone else.
"Mi-ssi. Maybe if you weren't so lazy and relaxed you would have gotten all the notes like everyone else."
Chiyun lowered her head, she was older than he was but he'd apparently decided that she was far below him. She pushed Namjoon's notebook back towards him and quickly stood up to leave her class. She knew that she shouldn't take things like that seriously but there was something in the informality and harshness in his words that had struck her. She wasn't a particularly sensitive person but she almost felt like crying.
She pushed her way from the room and onto the quad.
- Yeah, sounds good.
She finally replied to Taehyung.

Taehyung looked at his phone as it buzzed beside him, a simple reply that allowed him to go up to the roof of Chiyun's dormitory building. He grinned to himself and started to finish his homework so he didn't have a reason not to go.
"You look happy."
Jimin's voice called from across the room, the art major was sitting on his bed with a sketch pad in hand.
"Hm? Oh, yeah."
"What's up?"
"Not much, I've been working on some stuff for Robotics club and the plans got approved."
"Really? That's great."
Tae had decided it was always best that he left his roommate in the dark about what he was doing when it came to hanging out with Chiyun. It wasn't a selfish reason, it was purely the fact that he didn't want him to begin spreading things.
"I think I'll probably head out and skate around, don't wait up for me." Tae commented as he stood up from his desk having finished all his work.
He grabbed his skateboard and waved goodbye to his roommate.

He skated around campus it was around eight o'clock and he was just waiting for it to get darker. He stopped by the coffee shop to see if JB was working or if Jimin had come in already. He walked inside to see JB standing behind the counter looking bored and tired.
"Hyung, could I get two iced americanos please?"
He nodded and turned to make them.

Chiyun looked up at her ceiling, she knew that Tae would be there soon but she couldn't help but begin to stress. What if he was right? What if she was too lazy to actually succeed in anything? She felt anxiety and frustration bubble up in her stomach. There was the sound of a small clack against her window, she sat up.
As soon as she was at her window there was the ever smiling face of Kim Taehyung below.
She pointed in the general direction of the door and he nodded. She pulled on her shoes and quickly left her dorm to go let him into the dorm. Her RA sat in front of the elevator, she knew that Tae would come over and stay for a long time and leave. She didn't question it or make comments about it.

Chiyun opened the door for Tae and they made their way to the elevator wordlessly.
In his hands was an iced americano, he passed it to her and offered her is typical boxy smile. She pressed the button for the twenty-third floor and turned to speak to him.
"Hello Tae."
"Chiyun!" He wrapped an arm around her and offered her a smile.
"How were classes?" She questioned.
"They were really good, yours?"
"Mm, they were okay."
He nodded and looked at the blankets in her hand.
"Prepared are we?"
"Oh absolutely." She tried to smile and seemed to be able to at least fake one.

The doors dinged open and they made their way to the large window that lead to the scaffolding that lead to the roof. It was a pain to get up that's why nobody else ever adventured up there save for Taehyung and Chiyun.
Taehyung felt worry bubble in the pit of his stomach, she seemed upset. It wasn't typical that she would fake a smile.
As they carefully ascended the scaffolding he couldn't help but stare at her ass as she climbed up ahead of him. She wore a pair of tight black running shorts and a large baggy sweater.
He wasn't use to feeling that riled up around her, he wasn't sure why he was noticing the small things like the way her butt bounced slightly as she climbed the stairs or the way her sweater would ride up ever so slightly as she reached farther up the handrail.
Finally at the top the pair set their coffees down and began to spread out the large white and blue quilt she had brought up from her room.

She sat down, her legs folded up. She looked up at the sky. Her pale skin washed in the moonlight, the reflection of the neon lights of Seoul's nightlife lit whatever the moon didn't in a wash of reds, pinks, and purples. Tae took his seat beside her and watched as she continued to look up at the sky.
It was silent for many long moments until she sighed and leaned back on her elbows in a half laying position.
"What's up?"
"Stress."
"You? Stressed?"
Taehyung asked, surprise coloring his tone.
"Yeah," She laughed bitterly, "I realized today that I'm lazy and I don't pay enough attention. I'm never going to make it in the workforce like this."
"What in the hell are you talking about?"
"I'm tired of trying hard if it's not going to translate to everyone else around me."
"Chiyun, what are you talking about?"
"Classes and not being good enough, keep up."
"I understand the feeling." Tae commented, he really understood the feeling of not feeling good enough.
Everyone in his major thought he was just some kid who was playing with gears and wires. They didn't give him credit where he had earned it. They all associated him with a lazy and useless lifestyle.

It went silent and Tae laid down beside her staring up at the sky as well, Chiyun glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.
Finally his deep voice met her ears,
"I'm stressed too."
She laid down completely and turned on her side to see him fully. He laid there, arms crossed under his head. His glossy black hair falling messily around his face, his face serious but still serious. It was moments like this where Chiyun was reminded just how handsome Taehyung really was. He turned to face her and propped himself up on his elbow.
"We're both stressed, let's fix it."
His deep voice shook her, she wasn't sure what to say.
He reached out and caressed her cheek lightly. Her breath caught.
He pulled her closer and pressed his lips to her neck, he left a trail of light kisses along the length of it. As he reached her collarbone he left a bite upon it.
"T-Tae." She mumbled pulling away slightly.
"You don't want to?" He questioned looking her over.
"N-no I do. Y-you just startled me."
"Ah, sorry." He whispered

Tae felt the anticipation build, he began to tug on her sweater. She sat up and pulled it off to reveal a lace bralette, it had small pink bows where the straps attached. He grinned at her,
"Cute."
"Aish." She mumbled looking away from him.
He grasped for the bottom of his baggy black t-shirt and pulled it off in one swift motion.
They sat in front of each other shirtless, the sound of the city filled the air between them.

Chiyun stirred, the feeling of a pair of warm arms around her and a fuzzy feeling blanket over her.
She peaked an eye open; the sky was pitch black above the glow of Seoul's neon radiating into the sky. She wasn't sure what time it even was, the only thing she was sure of was the fact that a mostly naked Kim Taehyung was cuddled into her back his nose pressed against her throat.
She wasn't really sure what she could call happened. Were they romantically involved? Was it a simple hook up? Did he even want what had happened?
His arms tightened around her as she turned over to face him. His eyes slowly opened and he blinked sleepily at her.
"Hello."
His deep voice reverberating in his chest, his normally low voice was an octave lower than normal causing her to blush slightly.
"Hello." She whispered as she looked at his neck instead of his face.

One of his hands moved from her waist and tilted her chin upwards.
"Are we still stressed?"
"N-no." She felt the blush increase as he spoke.
"Good." He said simply, "You shouldn't ever feel like you're not good enough. You're one of the smartest people I've ever met. You work harder than anyone else in your major and minor combined. It's really amazing."
She dropped her gaze and pressed her face into his bare chest.
"You're amazing, and talented, and sweet, and the kindest person I'll ever know."
She knew her voice was soft as she spoke the words that she always thought.
His body shook with silent laughter.
"Thank you, we should go lay down in an actual bed."

The sound of a piercing alarm startled Taehyung awake, he was pretty sure he'd turned his off due to the fact that he didn't have a class. His eyes flew open and a room that was most certainly not his came into view. Sound asleep in his arms was Mi Chiyun, she wore his worn in black t-shirt and her running shorts from the night before. The alarm continued, he figured she probably had a class and needed to be awake.
"Chiyunie." He chided as he lightly shook her in his arms.
"Mm?" Her eye peaked open.
The sound of the alarm seemed to register and she reached for her phone.
Finally the only sound in the room was their breathing.
"Did you sleep okay? I'm sure my bed is more uncomfortable than yours." She chuckled.
"No, it was really comfortable. I'll have to sleep here again."
"Oh?" She laughed, an eyebrow raised as she turned to look at him.
"Of course, I have a reason to stay over now that we're dating."
"Usually the sex comes after the first date."
"I'll count our first accidental study date as a date, we've unofficially been dating for 3 months."
She let out a small giggle again finally sat up.
"If you wanna stay here you're more than welcome to. I need to go to a meeting with my guidance councilor's TA so she can give him parts of my final essay for my Metaphysics paper."

He watched as she pulled on a pair of jeans and a hoodie over his t-shirt.
"No bra?" He chuckled.
"Nah, it's only gonna take a minute."
She slipped on her sneakers and grabbed her book bag.
"Be back in a few." She called as she exited her dorm.
Tae glanced around for his phone and finally found it underneath the blankets they'd brought in from the roof.
There was a missed text from Jimin
- I'm assuming you're with Chiyun, be good and have fun.
Taehyung burst into laughter and rolled his eyes at his roommates commentary.
- Thanks for worrying.
After a few mintues he got a text back.
- Where in the hell are you, better yet why are you even awake?
- Don't you worry about it, see ya later.

Chiyun walked quickly to the Philosophy building on campus, it was next to the English department. She entered the building and saw that the TA's office was open and Namjoon was inside handing in some of his essay as well.
"Ah, here's mine too." Chiyun quickly set her papers on the desk with Namjoon's.
"Chiyun-ssi, you look tired. Did you sleep okay?"
Namjoon looked her over, mildly worried.
"Namjoon-oppa, I slept great. Thank you for worrying."
The voice of the TA called out to the both of them,
"Thank you for bringing me these, you're free to go."
With that the pair left the room.
"Are you sure you're okay? Did you fall down you have a bruise on your collarbone."
"Huh? Really?" She asked, startled.
"Yeah, right there." Namjoon pointed to a very apparent hickey that was forming on her decolletage.
"Oh, yeah. I was getting ready for bed and I tripped over my bag and hit myself on the bedpost I guess." she tried to laugh it off.
