Candle Lights

"Please make yourselves at home" – I smiled as I entered the apartment and felt the warmth spreading through my skin. As usual, my dog came running to see who was home and greeted all of us, with his fluffy tail waving quickly through the air. And as I looked back, I saw a confused look on their faces.

"Uhm, what do we do?" - Rap monster asked innocently pointing down at his shoes.

"Oh right!" I smacked my own forehead – "I know it’s a habit in Korea to take your shoes off and replace them by house shoes, but we’re not organized enough here to do it. So if you want to you can keep them on or you can be barefoot. Just do as you please." After some hesitation, they all ended up taking their shoes off, some faster than others. I hung their wet coats in the cupboard beside the front door and we moved going to the kitchen.

"You were right" – J-hope said smiling at my confused face – "We did need warmth."

"And food!" – V added joining the conversation with a grin, a very bright and rectangular grin that showed his innocent happiness. A happiness that was definitely turned to scary the moment I put some food in front of him. Really. I thought he would be capable of marrying the sandwich I put on the table. I only had sandwiches at home for the moment, and a few fruit juices I served them, and we all ate between jokes they would do, teasing each other.

"You live here, in this huge place, alone?" – Jin asked me in a little silence that settled in the conversation after we started eating.

"No, my parents and my sister also live here, but they’re taking some holidays in Poland while I still have class, so I have the whole house for myself" – I smiled.

"Well not anymore" – Jung Kook winked at me and giggled afterwards.

"Don’t be surprised, Kookie can be real perv when he wants to" – Jimin told me and we all laughed including Jung Kook who defended himself right after.

"Hey! But the girls do love that" – he laughed while Suga, Rap monster and I rolled our eyes.

"Wait, Kookie?" – I was surprised.

"Yes that’s his nickname" – Rap monster said – "I guess we forgot to tell you. Mine is Rapmon or you can call me by my real name, Namjoon."

"Don’t lie! It’s rapmonie or Namjoonie… But the best one is God of destruction!" – V added laughing, while the others agreed.

"Why god of destruction?" - I asked intrigued.

"Well aparently everything I touch ends up broken somehow... " - He said a bit embarrassed - "But I do have to agree I can be quite clumsy."

"I’m Taehyung or Tae Tae" - V continued.

"Nah he’s the ET or Blank Tae" – J-hope said giggling while V got grumpy and continued eating his sandwich – "I’m Hopie or Hoseok, as you wish."

"He’s not funny, we don’t even have bad nicknames for him" – Suga said – "for me it’s Sugaswag or Yoongi or-"

"The Diva! Motionless Min!" – Jung kook and Jimin said at the same time, making all of us laugh exept Suga who tried to deny it all. Jung Kook continued and winked again – "For me it’s Golden Maknae, Kookie, but for you it’s oppa."

"Oh Kook just stop being cheesy and harassing the girl already" – Jin verbalized all of the boy’s thoughts and continued the chain – "I’m Jinnie, Jin or-"

"Pink Pincess!!" – the other six boys screamed together making all of us laugh.

"They like to bother me because my favorite color is pink" – Jin explained the commotion making me laugh even more at their childishness.

"And well I’m Jimin, Jiminie or Chim Chim" – He said after all the laughter had settled and concluded the presentations at last.

"Well I'm (y/N), but you can call me (Y/nckN)."
