Tae and I had a lot of fun with JJ. We ended up going to get dinner with him. We picked up Begae on our way home. He seemed excited to see me. As soon as we got to the house he passed out on his dog bed. Poor guy had a long day. I hear music from the practice room so I head in thinking it was Jimin. To my surprise it was Jin getting in an extra practice.

“Hey.” I said to him sitting down.

“Hey.” He says breathless walking over to sit next to me. “How’s the new partner?”

“Great! He is knew to Seoul so Tae and I went to get coffee and dinner with him.”

“Jimin didn’t go?” He asks confused.

“He said he couldn’t.” I say shrugging my shoulders. “He told me to go and bring Tae.”

“Huh.” He says lying back. I then hear my phone buzz. It was a text from Jimin.

“Gonna be home late. Eat with the guys. Don’t wait up for me. Love you <3”

“Jin?”

“Hmm?”

“Has Jimin been acting weird around you guys?”

“As in weird for Jimin? No. He seems his usual self. Why?”

“He just seems distant the last couple days. I don’t even know what time he came home last night from the gym but I know it was after midnight cause that was the last time I talked to him. And then this morning he got up at 4:30 to get ready for today. The last time I saw him was when he walked me to my practice room at the studio.”

“That is weird.” He says sitting back up. “Did you guys get into a fight or anything?”

“No. The last thing we did together was go to dinner. And that was two nights ago.”

“What happened after dinner?”

“Went on a drive and had sex in the back seat of his car.” I admit hoping it will help figure out what’s going on with him.

“The car? Really? You two know there are two beds in this house for you guys right?”

“That’s not the point Jin.” I say rolling my eyes.

“I’ll watch out and see if he starts acting different. You may talk to V about it though. He may know more.”

“Yeah I think I’m going to.” I say standing up with Jin to get dinner ready.

After dinner I went to Tae’s room to talk to him. I knock on the door seeing it’s closed.

“Open!”

I walk in and flop down on the bed. “I think I have a problem.”

“What’s wrong?” He asks concerned by the look on my face.

“Have you noticed Jimin acting differently the last couple days?”

“No. Why did he do something?”

“Not really.” I say huffing. “He just hasn’t been around. I was worried I did something and not realized it.”

“He may just be stressed about today being the first day back. I wouldn’t worry about it. Give it a couple more days. If he keeps doing it I’ll talk to him.”

“Thanks.” I walk out of the room to Jimin’s. It was already 10:00 so I decided to go to bed. I woke up hearing Jimin come into the room. I look over at the clock seeing it was 1:00 in the morning.

“Sorry I didn’t mean to wake you.” He says getting into bed wrapping his arms around me.

“Why are you home so late?”

“I lost track of time at the gym again.” He says kissing my neck. “I’m sorry.”

“It’s ok. I was just worried.”

“Go back to sleep.” He says kissing me. I fall back asleep with his arms wrapped around me.

I felt him pull me in closer before I did. The same thing happened the next morning. I woke up to his alarm going off at 4:30.

I felt him take his arms away from me getting out of bed. I started wondering how he was able to only get three hours of sleep as I started to fall back asleep myself.

I woke up to my 7:00 alarm. I saw a not taped to my snooze button from Jimin.

“Be home at 8:00 to pick you up.”

I put the paper back down getting ready for today.

Everything was the same as the day before. Jimin was on time to get me. We dropped off Begae. He had a reason to miss lunch. I went home with Tae and the other guys. Jimin missed dinner. I was starting to think he was getting tired of me being around all the time so I decided to sleep in my room. It was a little uncomfortable still but I brought Begae with me so it helped a little.

I woke up to my door opening and Begae barking. I then here Jimin quiet him down before getting into bed. I look at the clock, 1:30. I didn’t say anything as I felt him drape his arms around me pulling me in close.

4:30 came and Jimin was up and leaving the house. Something was wrong. I just didn’t know what it was. If he didn’t want me around so much then why would he come in here to sleep with me and not stay in his room? I had a hard time falling back to sleep that time.

I got up early and left for the studio taking the bus. I asked Jin to drop off Begae for me that morning. I left a note taped to the door so Jimin knew I was at the studio already.

“I don’t know what is wrong with him!” I say to Jiyeon when we went to our lunch break. “It’s like he doesn’t want to do anything with me but then as soon as he gets home he climbs into bed wrapping his arms around me. I even tried sleeping in my room last night. Thinking I could give him some space. He still came in there.”

“Are you upset he did?” She asked confused.

“No because I want him there. Yes because I still don’t know what’s wrong.”

“Have you talked to him?”

“I haven’t been given the chance to. I only see him when he comes in at one something in the morning or when he drives us to work. And I don’t want to be in the middle of talking about it and we have to stop so we can work.”

“Yeah I see what you mean.” She says thinking. “Try telling him you need him to come home for something. Then he will have to talk to you.”

“Yeah I can try that.” I say sighing. “The worst part is I have no idea what he is doing. I know he says he is at the gym or working but I don’t actually know.”

“Well we have the day off tomorrow for the early weekend. Let’s find out.” She suggests.

I felt weird following him but I really wanted to know what was going on. “Ok. He gets up at 4:30. Meet me at the house at 5:00?”

“Sounds good! Operation Catch Chim is a go!”

“You guys have got to stop with the code shit.” I say rolling my eyes at her.

The next morning Jimin gets up right on time. I waited until I heard the front door close then got dressed rushing out of the house to meet Jiyeon. We stayed a few car lengths behind him so he wouldn’t notice us following him. We ended up at the studio. We waited a few minutes after he went in before we did. We found him in the gym just like he said he would be. He was there working out until 8:30 when he went to shower before meeting with the boys in their recording room. They guys went to lunch but Jimin went back to the gym instead. He was in there all through lunch before going back to practice the dances. The boys went home at 6:00 while Jimin went back to the gym.

“How is he still going?” Jiyeon asked me.

“I have no idea.” I then realized something. “Do you remember him eating anything today?”

She thought for a moment. “No. I don’t think he has.”

“Take me home? I need to talk to the guys.”

I walk into the house and call a meeting with everyone. Once they were all sitting around the table I started.

“Ok I am really starting to get worried.”

“What’s going on?” Rap Mon asks me.

“Has anyone actually seen Jimin eat in the last week?”

They all go quiet thinking over my question. Jin then turns to Rap Mon. “Do you think he is doing it again?”

“I don’t know. I have hardly seen him at all the last few days. He could be.”

“Doing what again?” I ask them.

They all turn to me with worried looks. “Maranda?” Tae says to me. “Don’t take this the wrong way but. Have you said anything about how Jimin looks recently?”

I start to get even more confused. “No. Why would you ask that?”

J-Hope then takes my hands in his. “Well you see, Jimin has had a problem with his looks ever since he got some bad feedback pre debut.” He explains.

“So anytime he starts to gain weight or he hears something else about it. He stops eating and is constantly at the gym.” Suga adds.

“So how do we get him to stop?” I ask them worried about him possibly killing himself from doing this.

“We can’t.” Tae says to me. “We just have to wait for him to snap out of it. Nothing we have tried works.”
