Hyosonn had called me to go to get lunch with her since we hadn’t seen each other since the incident. I got done with my shower getting dressed and started leaving the house. I noticed Begae was following me to the door.

“Jimin!” I shout for him to come into the room.

“Yeah?” He asks walking in on his phone.

“Our son is trying to leave with me.” I say pouting my face.

He slightly chuckles then comes over picking him up walking back to his room. “I know I don’t like it when Mommy leaves either.” He says to him.

I roll my eyes as I walk out of the door. I hurry to the café around the corner realizing I was running behind. I walk in the front door seeing her sitting at a table on her phone. “Sorry I’m late.” I say sitting down.

“It’s ok. I just walked in too.” She says putting her phone down. “So how are you doing?”

“Good! I met Jimin’s family and he met mine this week so that was fun.”

“You guys went to America and didn’t invite me?” She asks with a jokingly hurt face.

“If it helps my parents are coming here in a few months. You can meet them then.” I say laughing. “So there was something I wanted to talk to you about though.”

“What’s up?” She asks taking a sip of her iced latte.

I tell her about the interaction I had with Jihyun in the hallway, about the car and what we did in the car. Explaining how I felt about his brother’s comment.

“So did you like it?” She asked referring to the talking.

I start blushing. “Yeah. I just had no idea what to say.” I start nervously laughing. “That’s why I wanted to talk to you about it. Any pointers?”

“Well have you talked to him about it?”

“Yeah we did on the way home. He just told me to say what I was thinking. But I still feel a little weird about it.”

“Don’t be!” She says laughing. “It is fun trust me. You really do just say anything that comes to mind though. It’s going to be weird the first few times but you just have to start out slow and confident about it.” She then gets a thinking look on her face. “Try telling him what to do at first. Like if you want him to go faster then just say ‘Faster.’ Or if you want him to be rougher tell him that. Just start with a word or two.”

“I think he is enjoying my innocence way too much.” I say laughing.

“What do you mean?” She asks joining my laughter.

“Well every time we have sex it’s something new for me. But at the same time when I try doing something to him he either stops me or tells me I don’t have to.”

“It just sounds like he prefers to be in charge. What does he tell you, you don’t have to do?”

“Well I gave him oral for the first time the other day. Totally caught him off guard.” I say laughing.

She starts laughing again. “Just be assertive about it when you want to do something. If it is something he doesn’t like then of course don’t do it but if he is just saying you don’t have to for your sake then make him let you. You are still figuring out what you like anyway.”

“It would be easier if I didn’t always have to wait for him to show me something new though.”

“You don’t have to. Look up stuff online to try. If you’re not comfortable watching people do stuff then just read tutorials.”

“What should I look up?” I ask confused now.

“Different positions, things you can add to make it better. You can even look for stuff to say to him all with a click of a button.” She says smiling at me.

We finish our lunch and say our goodbyes before I head back to the house. I walk in hearing music coming from the practice room. I go change before going in there. I didn’t care who it was practicing I was joining them. We all went back to work tomorrow so I needed to refresh everything. I walk in seeing J-Hope going over different dances. He notices me walk in during a turn.

“Your boyfriend sucks.” He says stopping to look at me.

“Why?” I ask laughing.

“He doesn’t talk about what you guys do! We want to make sure he isn’t being stupid.”

I start laughing harder. “He isn’t being stupid.” I say walking in to start dancing with him. The next song comes on and we start dancing to it.

We had been in there for a few hours when we both started getting tired. I flopped down on the floor trying to cool down. J-Hope sitting next to me. “So how was your parent’s?”

“Good. Appa was not a fan of Jimin at first but he grew on him like the lovable squishy cinnamon roll he is.”

“Good. We were all worried. I think V was the most though. We all thought at one point Jimin was going to come back without you.”

“You ain’t getting rid of me that easy.” I say laughing. I hear the door open and see Jimin walk in. “Hey. I’m hungry. I’m going to go shower and we should go get dinner.” I say standing up.

“Sorry I didn’t realize you were back. I already ate.” He says pushing his hair back nervously.

“It’s ok. I’ll forage in the kitchen.” I say kissing his cheek.

“I’m going to go to the gym for a bit. I’ll see you tonight.” He says kissing me.

I went to take a shower just putting on a pair of shorts and one of his oversized shirts after. I went into the kitchen to find something for dinner when Jin walked in. “Don’t eat yet. I’m about to cook.” He says closing the refrigerator door.

“I’ll help.” I say walking behind him. “Jimin went to the gym so I have nothing to do.” I helped Jin make dinner. Mostly just handed him the things he asked for and stealing bites when he wasn’t looking. After we all ate Jimin still wasn’t back yet so I took the opportunity to look up some new ideas like Hyosonn suggested.

There was a lot to read. I did find a few that looked like fun though for the next time we did anything. I looked over at the clock seeing it was already midnight. I still couldn’t believe he wasn’t back yet so I decided to call to check on him.

“Hey Jagi.” He answered on the first ring.

“Hey where are you?”

“I’m still at the gym. Is everything ok?”

“Yeah I was just starting to get worried. It’s already midnight.”

“I know. I’m heading home soon. I’m going to shower here then I’ll be on my way.”

“Ok. I’ll wait up for you.”

“Don’t do that. You have to go back to work tomorrow you need your sleep. I’ll be home soon. I love you.”

“Love you too.” I say hanging up the phone. I couldn’t believe he was still at the gym. He had been there for close to five hours. I decided not to worry myself right now. He was right I needed to get some sleep. I put in my ear buds laying down to go to sleep.

I didn’t hear Jimin come in but was woken up from his alarm going off. I looked at the clock seeing it was only 4:30. I turn seeing him getting out of bed. “Jimin? What are you doing?” I asked rubbing my eyes.

“Shh. Go back to sleep.” He says whispering then kissing my forehead. “I have to do a few things before work. I’ll be back to take you to the studio at 8:00.” He then grabs clothes and his bag before leaving the room. I roll back over falling asleep quickly.

I woke up to my alarm at 7:00. I got ready to go back to work. I also gathered up Begae’s thing he might need for his first day of training. Jimin came into the house at 8:00 to pick us up as promised. “What did you have to do so early this morning?” I asked him getting into the car.

“Just going over a few things. Wanted to make sure I was ready.”

We walk into the dog training facility dropping off Begae. I saw a few of the other dogs playing with each other. It made me feel a little better that he would have other dogs to play with. Once we got to the studio Jimin walked me to my practice room before heading to his.

The morning went by quickly. I was glad there wasn’t any new choreography I had missed while I was gone. Everyone asked how I was doing or if I was ok. Mr. Kwon told me my new partner would be there after we got back from lunch.

“Hey on lunch.” I text Jimin.

“Gonna be a couple more hours. Sorry. I’ll make up for it! ;-P”

“Lol you better!”

“Salanghae! <3”

“Nado salanghae.”

I head to the cafeteria for lunch. When I walk in I see the rest of the guys already in there. I got my tray then went to sit with them.

“Hey!” Tae greeted as I sat down. “Where’s Jimin?” He asked me confused.

“He said he was going to be another couple hours.”

“That’s weird.” Suga said taking a huge bite of food.

“Maybe he is working through lunch so he can take you home.” Jin says turning from his camera. I notice all the food on his tray realizing he is filming Eat Jin.

“I meet my new partner after lunch.” I tell them as I start eating.

“If he seems off let us know.” Tae says a little worried.

“I will. I’m sure it’s going to go fine though.”

We all finish eating and I head back to the practice room. I see Mr. Kwon talking to someone. He notices me walk in and waves me over.

“Maranda, this is Jijong. He is your new partner.”

“Nice to meet you.” I say to him shaking his hand.

“You too! You can just call me JJ. Every time I hear Jijong I look around for my mom yelling at me.” He says laughing.

“Maranda why don’t you get him caught up on some of the routines. You guys can use the other practice room.” Mr. Kwon says to us.

“Sounds good!” I say picking up my bag. “What dances do you already know?” I asked him setting my bag down in the other practice room.

“A few. Fire and Dope give me some of the most trouble. And I haven’t learned that new one yet.”

“You don’t need that one. Only the seven of us girls know it and we only do it with the BTS boys.” I plug in my IPod to get started. We did a few of the easy ones first to get him warmed up. After a couple hours Mr. Kwon came in to dismiss us for the day.

“Well it was good learning with you.” JJ says as we are leaving the room.

“Yeah today was fun.”

“So I am pretty new to Seoul. Would you want to go and get coffee or something and you can tell me some good places to go for different things?”

“Sorry I have a boyfriend. I don’t think he would appreciate me doing that.” I confess to him feeling bad.

“Oh I didn’t mean like that.” He says nervous now. “Invite him. I really could use the company.”

“Ok I’ll call him.” I say pulling out my phone.

“Hey Jagi.” He says out of breath.

“Hey! So I met my new partner today.” I say sounding happy.

“Has he tried anything?” He asks worried.

“No.” I say laughing. “He is new to Seoul though and wanted to know if you and I would want to go get coffee with him. Tell him about the city a bit.”

“I can’t today. I think V is done though if you want to call him to go with you.”

“Oh ok.” I was starting to question how distant he was being. “I’ll call Tae then. Will you be home tonight?”

“Yeah! I should be home before you. Love you.”

“Love you too.”

“Is he not able to come?” JJ asks me when I hang up the phone.

“No he said to call my cousin to see if he could go. I’m sorry they are kind of protective over me right now.”

“Why’s that?”

“My last partner attacked me at home. Nothing happened but they want to make sure I stay safe.” I say dialing Tae’s number.

“What up Mo?”

“Hey I wanted to know if you would come to get coffee with me and my new partner?”

“Sure! Where should I meet you?”

“Are you still at the studio? We’re leaving the practice room now.”

“Yeah I’ll meet you at the front entrance.”

I hang up the phone then smile up at JJ. “We have a winner!”

“Cool!”

“So I should probably tell you. My cousin that we are meeting is V. And my boyfriend that couldn’t come is Jimin.”

He gets a shocked look on his face. Clearly no one had told him yet. “Wow. Ok. I just got nervous.” He says laughing.

“Don’t be. They are, well they aren’t normal but, they’re pretty chill. Just don’t hit on me and you have nothing to worry about.”
