Eun's POV
"Really?! The school dance is next week?!" I shouted excitedly.
Xiumin nodded, "Yep! Aren't you guys excited?!"
I shook my head, "Nah..."
"Oh come on Eun!" Baekhyun laughed, "I'm sure you'll love it!"
I rolled my eyes, I was never much of a dance person.
Soo seemed excited, she glanced over at Baekhyun. Oh Baekhyun... He is so distant from me... I felt sad...
But Xiumin still treated me normally, we weren't close but he would always say hi and sometimes wave. Suho was nice to me but he hanged out more with Soo...
"You guys... I'll be going up stairs to check on Chaeryung." Kai said coldly, I saw him keep looking up stairs ever since DO brought her up...
"Go ahead Kai!" Chanyeol said.
We all sat down on the coach... There was an awkward silence...
There was a strange sound coming out of Chen's stomach... Sehun laughed.
"Hyungs! Chen hyung is hungry!"
Chanyeol stood up, "I'll go make some jiajiangmian."
"Omo!" I was surprised, "You can cook?"
Chanyeol nodded slightly, rubbing his head, "Haha kinda~"
[Soo's POV]
OMG! Chanyeol can cook?!....
Ugh... I can't help it! I think I'm liking him more and more... I need to stop!
[Xiumin's POV]
I sat there quitely as usual... I stared at Eun... She's so beautiful...
As a child she was cute... I can't believe she grew up to be such a pretty girl... I admit that I've liked her ever since we've met...
I know that that I'm not suppose to... But I can't help it... I think... I'm in love with her...
But what will happen to us?... Will she die? Will I die? Or could it be... Even worse?...
[Eun's POV]
After Chanyeol had left the atmosphere got more awkward... So I said something random.
"How about we watch a movie while we wait?"
"Yes! A horror one!" Chen said.
"No no no!" I shook my head, "NO!"
Baekhyun laughed, "I remember that she's always scared of ghosts!"
So he still remembers... But why is he so cold to me? He's even nicer to Soo!
"Stop it Baekhyun..." I blushed.
"How about we watch a sad movie?" Do suggested.
I nodded, "I'm fine with that!"
So the movie started, it was called "Hyung". And as it began it shocked me...
Isn't that DO?! I swear he looks just like him.
"DO!" Soo shouted, "Is that you?"
DO laughed, "Yeah..."
"DO hyung is secretly an actor!" Sehun laughed, he was sitting next to me. We were touching and close...
I was blushing since we kept on leaning this way... So I had to lean to my right which was Xiumin.
"Where's Lay hyung?" Baekhyun said randomly.
"He's sick..." DO added.
Sick?... Lay did look pretty weak that day when I first met him.
Then we stopped talking while the movie went on... The first person to cry was Baekhyun, he cried at the part when the hyung was bullying DO for being blind and DO was super sad.
Soo laughed at him for being a baby.
Suho also started to cry at the part when the older brother got cancer... Awww.... That's the old Suho I knew...
As the movie went on I couldn't control my emotion so I started crying... Xiumin patted me while he started sobbing...
Sehun looked serious, but no tears came out.
Chen was crying with Suho, his head leaned on DO's shoulder, DO's eyes seemed watery....
Then I looked at Soo, WOW... She was crying like crazy beside Xiumin, Xiumin stared at her, then he moved closer to me.
Xiumin handed me a tissue and whispered, "It's okay..."
I smiled at his sweet movement, "Thank you~ Oppa~"
Xiumin blushed at first then he smiled at me.
Chanyeol walked in with jiajiangmian in his hand, he stared at all of us, shocked.
"Um... What's going on?" Chanyeol laughed a little.
Baekhyun sniffed his nose, "Chanyeol... Let's just... eat..."
Suho turned off the TV since the movie is already done, "It sure took you a while to make those jiajiangmian."
Chanyeol rubbed his hair shyly, "hahaha, sorry~"
[Kai's POV]
"Chae... Chaeryung-ah~" I smiled at her.
"Oh Kai..." She smiled weakly, I helped her to sit up.
"You're finally awake~ Come on, let's go grab some food."
Chaeryung nodded, so I helped her to get off of bed and down stairs.
[Eun's POV]
I saw Kai coming downstairs with Chaeryung, he looked at her with daze and tender.
Unlike when he looks at us, there's only hate and coldness.... Does he not like Kuhimos?
"Thank you Chanyeol for the food." I smiled.
When Chanyeol gives Soo the food, Soo stared at him and said, "Chanyeol-ah... You're an icon!"
Chanyeol laughed a little and gave the next one to Baekhyun.
After dinner it was time to go, since our house is still pretty far from the wolves, they decided to choose someone to walk us.
DO and Kai already volunteered to take Chaeryung, so they left a little earlier.
"I'll take her!" Baekhyun said as he looked at Soo.
"Aren't you gonna take Eun?" Suho teased.
"I-" Xiumin was going to say something, but Chen interrupted, "It's okay... Sehun can take her!"
Sehun nodded, "Sure..."
Chanyeol rubbed Sehun's hair, "Yah! Why are you so cold to Eun?"
[Sehun's POV]
"I'm not..." I said, I can't be too obvious... I need to act cool...
This is such good opportunity! I can ask her to the dance.
"Let's go." I grabbed Eun's arm and left the house.
"Wait... Now?..."
[Xiumin's POV]
There... Once again... I missed the chance...
It could have been me who takes her home... But everyone assumes that I am that emotionless shy hyung... Who has no feelings for others...
Childrens... They don't understand anything... Eun is the only one who could talk to me outside of my family, Soo would sometimes, but Eun would always smile at me when I smile at her... I feel like there's some special connection between us... That no one separate...
[Eun's POV]
{note: magical creature's speed walking is basically 3 miles per minute, so it will take them 30 minutes to get home, but if your do normal walking, it could take up a day...)
"Sehun-ah... Why were you always in trouble?" I asked randomly.
Sehun shrugged, "Father thinks I'm a trouble maker..."
"You're 312(18 something) years old right?" I asked.
Sehun nodded, he seemed like a shy guy.
"So I'm very close to your age, I'm 300 (18 exactly)" I smiled.
"300? Like exactly?" He seemed surprised, it is kinda cool to have a number like that as your age, I mean... it only happens once 100 years.
"Yep~" I laughed, then added, "You're very nice Sehun, I wished I had known you earlier..."
He rubbed his hair, "Hahaha... Not really... I'm not that nice..."
"You're sassy~" I joked.
"Yehet!"
I laughed, that seemed like a fun word, "Sehun, you know... When we were younger, Baekhyun would always say Kkaebsong, especially when he regrets something..."
"Oh chinjia?" Sehun said, "So that's what it meant! He kept on saying that when you guys left..."
I grew quiet, he must have been mad... I felt bad for leaving him like that... He was my best friend, but now we kind of grew distant....
But Sehun... seemed to be replacing Baekhyun in my heart... But meanwhile I'm loosing Baekhyun...
I wish we can still be friends and share our secrets...
"He's still mad at me right?"
Sehun shook his head, "Not really... I mean... He dated other girls but he still has the picture of you, Soo and Suho together in his room...
"That was one of my best memories for the past 300 years..." I sighed, "I want it to last forever..."
"Yeah... I had a best friend when I was little... But he died when he turned 230 years old..."
"Really?" I felt bad for him, "I'm so sorry..."
"Anyways..." Sehun changed the subject, "Let's talk about something else... How about the dance... Are you going?"
"I guess... I mean... I don't have anyone to go with..." I sighed a little.
"I mean... Me neither... How about... Us... Going... together..." His face turned red by saying that.
I chuckled a little, "Sure..."
Sehun's eyes brightened up, I hit him, "Hey! Don't think about it the wrong way!"
"I'm not~" Sehun giggled...
[Baekhyun's POV]
As I was walking down the roads with Soo, I kept on staring at her.
She changed... She looked a lot like Eun but different...
"Is there something on my face?" Soo asked suddenly.
"Oh..." I shook my head, "No..."
"But why do you keep staring?" Soo asked.
"Oh... I wasn't I was... Just wondering... If you um... Maybe..." I was afraid to speak up.
"Just say what you want to say, do what you do when we were younger." Soo said.
I took a deep breathe, "Can you go to the dance with me?"
Soo looked surprised, of course... She probably think I like Eun... I did like her... But now she and I doesn't really talk much... Things seemed to get a little awkward between us... I was kind of mean to her on the first day we meet again... But I still want to be friends with her.
"Um... Sure..." Soo nodded, "But aren't you going to ask Eun?"
"Oh haha!" I rubbed my hair, "Eun has Sehun and Xiumin... Right?"
"True..." Soo laughed, "Eun seems to like Sehun a lot..."
"Haha..." I laughed awkwardly.... Can Eun possibly like Sehun?... But she can't... Once her feeling gets deeper... She'll fall in love... And that will be terrible for both us wolves and Kuhimos... This is probably why I'm avoiding Eun... Make sure stuff like that won't happen...
[Eun's POV]
After I got home I thanked Sehun once again, he said we can get prepared separately to surprise each other.
I agreed with that idea... For some reasons... I'm really happy that he asked me...
A wolf asked me to a dance... An extremely handsome one...
"Eun!" Soo shouted as she ran into the house.
"Hey! I'm going to bed now..." I waved at Soo, she looked happy.
"Why so early? We don't have school tomorrow!" Soo said.
"I have plans." I said as I shut the door of my room.
Just when I got to my room I got a call from an unknown number, I picked up my phone.
"Yeobosayo?"
"Oh Eun-ah! It's Xiumin~"
"Oh Xiumin oppa~ What's up?"
"Just calling you if Sehun dropped you off savely."
"Oh thank you~" Xiumin is a nice guy.
"Eun-ah, this is your first time at a school dance right?" Xiumin asked.
"Yeah..." I said, Is he trying to ask me to the dance, but I already promised Sehun...
"Don't worry, I'm not trying to ask you to the dance.." He seemed to read my mind, "But I was wondering if I could help you prepare..."
I laughed, "Oh yeah... That's very nice of you~"
"Alright then... Rest well, I'll see you tomorrow at the park at 9~" Xiumin said.
"Alright~ Good night oppa~" I hung up and got washed.
I was thankful that Xiumin is still nice to me, he got more open then before, he used to be super shy around me... He would never play with us... Things are getting a little different, Baekhyun seemed to be avoiding me... But Xiumin and Sehun seemed to be coming closer.
I'm happy to be back :) I thought to myself, but Kai... He doesn't seem to like us... And Soo... She and Baekhyun seemed close and Chanyeol...
And that Chaeryung girl... She's pretty and seems nice... But why doesn't Soo looks like she likes her?...
With all that crazy thoughts in my mind, I fell asleep...
The next day I woke up late, when I went out for breakfast, Soo already left, she left a note for me that she's getting ready for the dance.
I looked at the time, 8:57!!!! Oh damn it! Xiumin is probably already there... I didn't eat anything yet... It looks like I have to teleport!
(Kuhimos don't really teleport much since that will cause them a lot of magic and energy to do that, and with less experienced Kuhimos, they might teleport to the wrong place)
I stuffed a sandwich in my mouth and grabbed a jacket and went outside, it's pretty chilly today... Strange that it was just 80 degrees yesterday...
Good thing I didn't teleport to the wrong place today... Last time I teleport to Grandma's house, which caused me a lot of trouble (that was a long story).
When I got to the park, Xiumin was already standing there waiting for me, he's looking very handsome and cute in his jacket and ripped jeans, his hair styled, it's looking lighter than yesterday's, but still very handsome. How did the EXO packs do their hair like that?!
He smiled at me, his chubby face looked very squishy... He was chubbier when he was younger, but recently he got much skinnier...
"Xiumin oppa!" I smiled as I ran to him.
"Eun-ah! Come, let's go to the mall!" Xiumin smiled at me as he rubbed my hair.
"Which one? LingHwa mall?" I asked, that was mall we went all the time when we were younger.
Xiumin laughed as he shook his head, "Nope~ You'll see." He took my hand and snapped his finger.
We suddenly arrived to a different place... His teleport skills... It looks so simple for me, it was very tiring for me to teleport... Ugh... Wolves gets all the privileges...
"Wow!" I said, "That was quick"
Xiumin laughed, "We're here~"
I looked around, this mall was humongous!! I've never been here before, I looked up at the sign and it says "Bong Gu Mall"
"Bong Gu?! Isn't this for upper class creatures only?" I was surprised that he took me here.
Xiumin nodded, "Don't worry, your with me."
I smiled, "Then lets go!"
[Xiumin's POV]
What am I doing?! Taking Sehun's dance partner to shop for the dance?! Even when I have no one to go with?!!
But I like Eun... Very much... I know I can't fall in love with her...
But honesly... I am willing to do everything for her... Even to die for her...
She's now trying on all those dresses in the store... But for me... Everything look gorgeous on her...
"Xiumin-ah... This is so hard... Which one should I pick?" Eun whined.
I smiled, "Anything looks gorgeous on you! But that dark blue on looks super great~"
"Chinja?" Eun smiled, "I'll try that one on..."
After about 5 minutes, Eun walked out of the dressing room.
I was shocked by how gorgeous she looked in it... She looked like my mom when she was young...
Mother was considered the the "prettiest wolf"... But compared to Eun... She's nothing...
That dress fits perfectly on her... She looked like a shining star in that dress... Good enough... I mean... Perfect to be the princess of this kingdom...
I will... Make her my princess...
"You sure this will work?" Eun asked.
I nodded without hesitation, "Yes.... It's perfect!"
Eun blushed, it was cute, "Thank you~"
"You should definitely get that!" I stood up.
"Alright~" She smiled.
Then she looked around for jewelry... I sat down and stared at her....
I know that deep inside my heart that I can't just sit still and let other people steal her from me...
She needs to me mine... But am I brave enough to do that?
