Marriage Is Happiness

[SATURDAY] rolled around. It was finally my day off from work. I got to relax and had some me time. That morning, my mom and my soon to be mother-in-law texted me the address to where i should meet them for the wedding dress fitting. I got dressed and started my day. I wore a dark orange style tank top, grey long knitted cardigan, light blue rolled up ankle jeans with a little of rips in it, brown ankle boots.

I just want this weekend to be my days off and to relax from all the work i've done for the company. As I walked out of my apartment complex, i saw Daehyun standing there waiting for me. I walked towards him and asked…

Yoori (*asks) : what are doing here ?
Daehyun : i’m here to pick you up.
Yoori (*asks) : where are we going ?
Daehyun : our mothers want us to go try on dresses and tuxedos at the store.
Yoori : oh right. I was just on my way there.
Daehyun : come on, i’ll take you.
Yoori : thank you.

Daehyun drove us to the store and went inside. We walked up to the lady at the reception desk and told her…

Yoori : hi. We are here to meet our mothers for a dress fitting.
Lady : there is no one here but us.
Daehyun (*asks) : they didn't come in today ?
Lady : no.

Me and Daehyun oppa turned our heads to look at each other. We say…

Daehyun : i believe our mothers want us to do this on our own.
Yoori (*asks) : do we continue to do this ?
Daehyun : we should.
Yoori : okay.
Lady : i’ll get the room ready for you two.
Yoori (*says to the lady) : thank you.

Daehyun went into the other room to try some tuxedos on and came down to one. He walked out of the room to see me in a white wedding dress. He looked so handsome. I also tried on so many dresses and came down to a nice one.

Daehyun’s POV.
As soon as Yoori came out with a new dress on, she looked so beautiful in it. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. I believed that this dress was the perfect one for her. The dress fit absolutely great and showed her body curves. It showed her pure milk skin in the dress. I was so mesmerized by everything.

I held onto the dress and kept on looking into the mirror standing in the middle of the podium. Then Daehyun says to me...

Daehyun : you look beautiful Yoori.
Yoori (*smiles & says) : thank you.

I tilt my head to the side and looked into the mirror. I was thinking of something deeply and Daehyun asks..

Daehyun (*asks) : what’s the matter ?
Yoori : the dress is beautiful but it doesn't feel right.
Daehyun : we’re doing a good thing here Yoori. You have to think about our families.
Yoori : i just feel like it’s something off, like my mom has a secret.
Daehyun : no matter what that is, you have to put it aside and move on.
Yoori : you're right.

I walked off the stage and sits on the white couch that was there. I take a deep breathe and Daehyun tells me...

Daehyun : i have a feeling that something else is bother you.
Yoori : people say, marriage is about love but for us it’s not. Its arranged by our parents.
Daehyun : we will try our very best, just like how we met at the park.
Daehyun : it takes time and patience for it to happen.
Daehyun (*holds onto Yoori’s hand & says) : we can do this Yoori. I believe in us.
Daehyun : i will be here every step of the way.
Yoori (*smiles & says) : i’m glad to hear you say that.
