[1PM] It was my one hour lunch break. I headed of my office and downstairs to the lobby. When i was passing by the reception desk, i heard someone say my name. I stopped and walked over to see what it was or who wanted my attention. I asked the reception desk girl…

Yoori (*asks) : what’s going on ?
Girl : there’s a delivery for you Miss Jan.
Yoori (*asks) : what is it ?
Girl : these.

The girl showed me the huge vase of arranged flowers on the desk. I was surprised and asks her…

Yoori (*asks) : these are for me ?
Girl : yes ma’am.
Yoori (*asks) : who is it from ?
Girl : the delivery man didn't say but there is a note that came with it.
Yoori : alright. I’ll take these up to my office.
Yoori : please send some food from the cafe up to my office asap.
Girl : yes ma’am.
Yoori : thank you.

I brought up the vase to my office and took a look at the note. It read..

“I hope these make your day a little better from work. Enjoy it and i’ll see you tonight at 7. -CD”

I smiled as i looked at them. Then my lunch was delivered up to me and i ate it in my office.

[6:45PM] I got off work and took a bus to the restaurant my mom told me to go. I didn’t have time to change so i just wore my work clothes to the place. As soon as i got inside of the restaurant, i was helped by the waiter.

Waiter (*asks) : how many is in your party ?
Yoori : two but there is someone here that i need to meet.
Yoori (*asks) : do you happen to know if he’s here yet ?
Waiter : no ma’am.
Waiter : The restaurant is reserved for a couple names Jan Yoori and Choi Daehyun.
Yoori (*asks) : the entire restaurant is reserved for us ?
Waiter : yes.
Waiter (*asks) : are you Jan Yoori ?
Yoori : thats me.
Waiter : well, you are willing to wait because the guy isn’t here yet.
Yoori : yes, please.
Waiter : then please follow me.

The waiter escorted me to the table and i sat down. The waiter began to say…

Waiter : please tell me if you need anything else.
Yoori : yes. Thank you.

I sat there and waited for 15 minutes. I kept on looking at my phone for the time and minutes passed. I thought i was getting set up. But then i heard someone walking towards me from behind. I stood up and was about to greet Daehyun when i recognized him. He was the same guy that i talked to last night in the park. I didn’t believe this but i said to him…

Yoori : it’s you.
Daehyun : and it’s you.
Yoori : im sorry.

I freaked out and my mind went blank. I ran out of the restaurant outside to take it all in. I couldn't believe that it was him. As i ran outside, i stopped to think for a second. Daehyun ran after me to talk to me.

Daehyun : Yoori.
Yoori (*asks) : why didn't you tell me that you were the person who's going to marry me ?
Daehyun : i didn't know it was you until this afternoon.
Daehyun : i recognized you when my dad gave me your file.
Daehyun : i didn't believe it either.
Yoori : we can’t do this.
Daehyun (*holds onto Yoori’s hand & says) : we have to do this for our families
Daehyun : no matter how much we hate it.
Daehyun (*asks) : we both promise them, didn’t we ?
Yoori : it all matches up now. Your Choi Daehyun, Dae.
Daehyun : i’m sorry i didn’t know Yoori. Please, we have to do this for our parents.
Yoori : it’s just not for our parents. You have another reason you HAVE to get marry to me.
Yoori : i just need some time to think. Please.

I left the place as soon as i could and took a bus home. I didn’t know what to think or what i should've said to him. The guy that i met last night was different and he was someone i loved to talk to. Now that i met Daehyun, he just seems like the person in the papers. But now i know he’s the same person, what do i do now? What can i do? I asked myself that when i was going home. When i came home to the apartment, i saw Mae in the kitchen dining table working on a case. I sat in front of her and sigh loudly. She looks up from the papers and asks me…

Mae (*asks) : what’s the matter ?
Yoori : i met Choi Daehyun tonight.
Mae (*asks happily) : how was it ?
Yoori : i didn't expect him to be that person.
Mae : i’m guessing you hate him even more after meeting him.
Yoori : not like that. He’s the same person whom i met last night when i was in the park.
Yoori : i had no idea that it was him.
Mae (*asks) : what’s so important about the guy in the park ?
Yoori : the guy in the park was amazing. We talked for 2 hours straight about our problems.
Yoori : he understood me like no one else does. He was different, in my eyes.
Mae : he’s the same person Yoori.
Yoori : he said that he didn't know until this afternoon after talking to his dad.
Yoori : last night he told me that his name was Dae. i told him my name was Yoo.
Mae : maybe he was right and you have to believe him.
Mae : everyone in our family wants this for you.
Mae : We want you to have a family of your own with him.
Mae : maybe he’s not a good person now but later on in your marriage, he will get better.
Mae : I promise you that.
Mae : it's just a matter of time and patience with him. Same thing goes for you too Yoori.
Yoori : you have a point. Thanks unnie.
Yoori (*asks) : have you talked to omma ?
Mae : yeah. She kept on convincing me to convince you to get married to Daehyun.
Mae : but truthfully, i really want you to be happy and start something of your own.
Mae : enjoy it while you're still young.
Yoori (*smiles & says) : thanks. It’s been a long day, i’m going to bed.
Mae : goodnight.

It was a long day for me so i had to rest up for the following day. I scratch that, the next couple of days. I spent so much time thinking about the wedding.
