Someone’s knocking on the door, so I turned my tired body towards the door and said that whoever was knocking could come in. I closed my eyes again and continued sleeping.
“Nari wake up” a deep voiced man said.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw Kris. I immediately pulled him in for a hug. I could hear him laugh. I rolled my eyes and pushed him away from me.
“get ready, you have 7 minutes to get ready in” he said.
“WHAT!!! 7 MINUTES!!!” I yelled.
I quickly got out of my bed and pushed him outside my room, so I could change. I ran to my closet and got out a pair of black skinny jeans and an oversized white t shirt. I sat my hair in a high ponytail and ran downstairs, to see Kris eating breakfast with my family.
“don’t run, you end up falling” my mom said.
I sighed and speed walked over to the table they were sitting at. At the table, there were cereal, orange juice, toast, and coffee. I took the toast and went to the kitchen to take a cup. I came back with the toast in my mouth and the cup in my hand. I took a seat beside Kris and began drinking the coffee. I finished eating and said goodbye to my mom and dad. We hugged each other goodbye. They said that I should call and text them often. Kris drove me over to their house.
“Wait Kris, I forgot my lu-“
” it’s in the backseat” I nodded.
I turned on the radio. It was playing ‘gee’ by girl’s generation. Me and Kris looked at each other and began singing along.
“No No No No No
Neomu kkamjjak kkamjjak nollan naneun Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh” we sang together.
I couldn’t help but laugh. I’ll miss these times, even though it’s ‘just’ a marriage I hope I still get time to see Kris.
“okay we’re here” he said and sighed.
I nodded and we got out of the car. A man walked over to us, it was Mr. Kim. I smiled at him.
“you have grown so much. Last time I saw you, you were a little baby” he said hugging me.
“It’s nice to see you again Mr. Kim” I said hugging him back.
When I was little Mr. Kim would always come, and visit us, he played with me a lot and he would always come with presents. I remember how happy I would get every time my mom said he would come by. But I never thought I would be marrying his son.
“Follow me” Mr. Kim said.
Kris got my luggage and we went inside. Their house was, I mean their mansion was so pretty and well decorated. A boy walked downstairs when he heard the door open.
“appa why did you go outsi- “the boy said but suddenly stopped.
He stared at me. It felt like I couldn’t escape his eyes. I could feel my face heat up. his lips formed into a smirk. I shook my head and looked away quickly. That was weird? I could still feel that he looked at me.
“is that okay with you Nari?” Mr. Kim said.
“what? I mean yes I’m fine with that” I said, unsure of what I just agreed to.
“great then, Taehyung can you show Nari her room”
“sure, follow me” the boy said.
