” remember to text me and call me every day” he said giving me his cute smile.
I rolled my eyes and pushed him off me.
“so, dramatic” I said.
“and you love it” he said jokingly.
I laughed and walked downstairs to his kitchen. I opened the refrigerator and got out a drink.
“Yah! That’s my Strawberry milk” Kris whined.
“not anymore” I said and began drinking the milk.
I walked out of his house waving. Once I was out of the neighborhood I returned to being irritated. Kris always helped me with my problems, but I guess he can’t do anything to this one. I sighed and went home again. I opened the door and was greeted by my mom running over to me and hugging me like crazy. A small smile appeared on my lips, even though I hate the idea of getting married I can’t stay mad at her forever. My mom helped me through so many things. I can’t just forget everything she did for me and get mad at her, but I’m not angry I’m just sad. She let go of me and said sorry, but I still had to get married to Mr. Kim’s son. I agreed to it knowing I don’t have any other choice.
“you have to stay over at Mr. Kim’s house so you can get to know Taehyung. So go upstairs and pack your suitcase. You staying over for a month and you’re leaving tomorrow” she said.
“who is Taehyung?” I asked bluntly.
My mom rolled her eyes with a sigh.
“he’s the boy you’re marrying” she said.
Ah~ awkward. I didn’t even know his name. I nodded and went to my room, closing the door on my way. I jumped on bed enjoying the warmth is giving me. I repeated the whole day in my head. Me staying over at Kris’s house. I’m so lucky I have a friend like him. we met each other in elementary school. I was getting bullied and he came and helped me. The girls who bullied me never liked me, at first, they just hated me existence and they hated that I was Kris. I just couldn’t please them, they hated whatever I did. But I never thought about leaving Kris, we promised each other that we will stick together no matter what happens. And we did he’s 21 now and I’m 19. I was with Kris today and tomorrow I’ll be staying over at Mr. Kim’s house for a month. Wait! I’M STAYING OVER AT MR. KIM’S HOUSE!?! I quickly got out of the bed and ran downstairs to my mom.
“finally, you realized it” she said with a small laugh.
I looked confused at her.
“I knew you weren’t paying attention to what I said to you” she continued.
I smiled sheepishly at her last comment.
“go and pack your stuff” she said, motioning me to go back upstairs.
I sighed going upstairs once again. I took my P.E bag or Kris’s P.E bag and threw it on my bed. I went to my closet and picked out some clothes. I threw the clothes on my bed and began folding it so it would fit in the bag. When I was done, there were two bags on my bed. Kris’s bag where my clothes were in and then a little smaller bag for my underwear. I took the bags, placed them in the corner of the room and went to bed. It had been such a tiring day.
