KAI'S P.O.V.

The warmth of the morning sun shining on my face woke me up. Where the fuck am I? I turned my head to look around and noticed D.O. and Lana's right hand man, Suho, asleep on a couple of chairs. Shit! Lana! What the hell happened to her. I tried to sit up and had to groan at the sharp pain on my side.

D.O. immediately woke up and stood beside my bed. Suho fell off the chair. I wanted to laugh but I'm in too much pain. "You're awake! Gwenchana?"

Glaring at him was all I can do. "Do I look alright to you?"
"Ani, you look like something the dog killed then dragged to bury" he joked.
"Shut the fuck up. Where are we? Where is Lana? Is she safe?" I threw him one question after another. He looked mournful which made me hold my breath.
"She's alive isn't she?" I questioned in a whisper.

" Yes, she's alive....barely. Lay put her on a medically induced coma to help her heal faster. She's on a ventilator. Both of you have been unconscious for three days now. As for where we are? I have no idea. I got shoved blind folded into a van when both of you were stable enough to transfer." Suho replied.

"Need to know only" D.O. and I told him simultaneously. I nodded to D.O. that I know where we are. We are in Lay's state of the art medical facility. It's not on any map and satellites will only pick up the abandoned buildings that serve as camouflage.

"Where's Chanyeol? I need to apologize. He got the drop on me." I looked around for my slippers.

"Forget it. He's not even gonna notice you. He's whole world right now revolves around Lana. If she does not survive this The Phoenix will start burning everyone to the ground." D.O. Pushed me back gently to the bed and pressed a call light. A nurse came in to check my vital signs and ask if I was in pain. She's cute especially when she smiles. She reminds me of Krystal.

"Crap! Krystal!" I sat up suddenly and winched in pain when my sudden movement pulled on my stitches. "Pouting up a storm at the safehouse with Ellie" D.O. snickered.

Suho was busy flirting with the nurse. I'm still in pain. And I'm hungry!

"Nurse, is there anyway I can order some chicken?"

CHANYEOL'S P.O.V.

I heard Kai just woke up and started looking for chicken. Good! that's one less thing on my mind. Lana is still in a coma and attached to the ventilator. She started crashing right after we brought her to the hospital and Lay didn't tell me until later that they lost her twice. Thank god Lay is a brilliant Doctor. His healing powers beyond what normal humans could do. Only he knows why he chose to be on my team instead of having his own medical practice.

"Jagiya, Lay started weaning you off the medicine that's keeping you in a coma. Wake up soon. I need you. I love you. Saranghe". I whispered to her for the hundredth time today.

Baekhyun came in and forced me to sit down. "Here eat something. You're gonna frighten her when she wakes up to find you looking like a corpse. She's going to need your strength when she comes out of this." He handed me a sandwich and a drink. Mechanically I started eating. It tasted like sawdust in my mouth. Baekhyun got up and stood beside Lana. "Get some sleep Chanyeol. I'll stand guard. I'll wake you up when she does." I wanted to refuse but I'm dead tired. "You'll wake me up?" I asked him and Baekhyun just nodded and pulled up a chair. I laid down on the couch and closed my eyes.

I was dreaming of my wedding day when something hit me and woke me up. I had my gun drawn before I could fully open my eyes. "Pabo! Over here! Pali! Pali!" Baekhyun was hissing at me. I noticed he was missing one shoe which was currently on the couch where I was lying down.

"Did you just throw your shoe at me?" I raised my eyebrows at this.

"Forget that! She's waking up! Come over here!" I quickly pushed him out of the way and held Lana's hand. Her eyes flutter open and looked dazed. She saw me and I swear if there wasn't a tube down her throat helping her breathe she would be smiling at me. Suddenly she started flailing her arms, her eyes rounded in panic. She yanked off the tube from her throat which made me and Baekhyun panic!

"Baekhyun! Get Lay!" He was already running out of the room to get Yixing.

"Kris....kris...khhhh..."" She started coughing and gasping which made me really worried. "Lay! Hurry up!" I yelled. I can hear footsteps running down the hallway.

"Kris" she clutched my arm as she begged me with her eyes. "I know. This time I will kill him."

She shook her head and dug her nails into my arms. "NO! That's what I'm trying to tell you!"

She stopped to cough some more. "Kris jumped in to save me from my attacker. He bought me time to crawl into the elevators! He wasn't trying to kill me" I shook my head in disbelief.

"If it wasn't Kris trying to kill you then who is it?"

"Luhan" she replied.
