Brotherhood of Idiots

I was looking inside my bag as I walked, digging for my phone that's ringing somewhere inside my bag. I barely stopped in time from crashing into someone standing in my way. "Jagiya!!"

Crap! Which one is it? I sighed in relief when I recognized my best friend, Sehun . "Dammit! Don't call me that!" He kept on laughing as I hurriedly punched in the code at my door. "Come in, come in, Pali!" I grabbed his arm and yanked him inside, he barely had time to kick of his shoes before I pushed him quickly to the kitchen. I suddenly froze when five pairs of male eyes looked up as we entered the kitchen. "Mimi!" "

Jagiya!"
Chanyeol and Baekhyun looked at each other for a few seconds before they both ran to be the first one to reach my side. "Boys wait...." Sehun said as he held up his hands valiantly trying to control the two. All three of them fell in a heap of arms and legs. Xiumin, Kai, and Chen started laughing.

I can feel a headache starting.

Baekhyun was the first one to untangle himself. "Mimi, hi! Can we talk, take a walk or something?" Chanyeol elbowed him out of the way and waved his hands infront of me "yah! Don't go out with him! Go out with me.....ummmmph!" More pushing and pulling ensued followed by some cursing and some slapstick comedy hour. I calmly walked to the fridge, grabbed two water bottles, a package of cookies from the pantry, and nodded for Sehun to follow me. I walked out and managed to get to my room before the two idiots realized that I was actually missing.

"Yah! Its your fault she walked out again!" More grumbling can be heard but I had learned to tune them out. Meanwhile I saw Sehun, my best friend, rolling around on my bed laughing like crazy. I grabbed my pillow and hit him hard a couple of times before I slid down to the floor to clutch at my head. My head hurts really bad. And the two greatest source of pain are currently standing outside my bedroom door knocking.

"Mimi? I'm sorry. Can we talk?"

"NO! Go away!" Why can't they just take a hint and go home?

DINNER TIME:

"Mimi, come out and have dinner with us."

"Ani! Naneun baegopeun anieyo." (No, I am not hungry)

Sehun glared at me and walked over to the door "bestie if you want to starve yourself that's your business! But I am too beautiful to die! Oppa! Feed me!" He flung the door open and dramatically spread his arm. Xiumin was just standing outside the door with his arms crossed and his eyebrows raised. "Sehun, go and eat. I need sometime alone with my sister"

I sat up in bed and pouted. "Oppa, I really don't want to go out and eat"

"Forget that. You can eat whatever you want when you are ready. I want to talk to you about Chanyeol and Baekhyun."

I grabbed a pillow and covered my head.

"Don't do that Mimi. I'm here to talk seriously. I know your date with both men got really screwed up and embarrassing, but you got to give it to them that they are both making efforts to apologize despite their embarrassment. Can't you meet them halfway and learn how to forgive and forget?" I sat up hugging my knees still not willing to give an inch. Hell will have to freeze over.

"Why did you guys set me up with them anyway?"

"It's a long story Mimi. Let's just say when we lost our members, it felt like there was big gaping hole inside of you and want to hold on desperately to what you still have. Kai, Chen and I saw how much interest Chanyeol and Baekhyun had on you and wanted to keep everyone close. Like family."

"Don't you think I should have a say in this matter?"

"In hindsight I guess you do. I'm sorry about that. I'm sure Kai and Chen will say the same thing. Believe me. We had best intentions just poor execution. We can't always be around for you and I am totally confident that Chanyeol or Baekhyun will be good for you if you ever end up with one of them. So Mimi, as your oppa I am asking you this. Please wipe the slate clean. Forgive their mistakes and start fresh. Get to know them. See if you like them."

"Oppa. First of all, I love you guys. Family is family. We love each other warts and all. Second, I had forgiven both idiots a long time ago but just can't stand them too long. They tend to do something stupid and idiotic as soon as they open their mouths. I know I should be used to it since I have three brothers, but I am not quite there yet. I avoid both of them because I don't want to lose my temper. That's how I cope when I'm stressed out. Lastly, if you want to set up me up on a date with one your members next time, I won't object. As long as it's Suho oppa."

"Bwo?" Xiumin's eyebrows rose so high I couldn't help but start giggling.

"Yup! That's right! My type is Suho"
