Two hours later [12PM], I headed back to the apartment with a lot of groceries in my hand. I ran into Miss Minjung again and with her daughter Soojah this time on the way upstairs.

Miss Minjung (*says to Jooeun) : i see that you went exploring around town.
Jooeun (*smiles & says) : yes. I bought some groceries at the market and for my work too.
Soojah : i don't think we met in person before. My mom had told me about you moving in.
Soojah : i’m Soojah.
Jooeun : im Ahn Jooeun.
Jooeun : so you're Miss Minjung’s daughter.
Jooeun (*asks) : are you a resident here or are you just visiting ?
Soojah : I have lived here for 3 years with my mom. I've been taking care of her here.
Jooeun : that's nice that you're doing that for your mom.
Soojah : it's the least i can do at the moment for her.
Soojah (*asks) : so your Chanyeol’s new roommate ?
Jooeun : yes, i am.
Soojah : it's been awhile since he had a roommate.
Jooeun (*asks) : oh yeah ? how long has it been ?
Soojah : since the time i moved in.
Jooeun (*asks) : why hasn't he had a roommate for 3 years ?
Miss Minjung : you should ask him that. He’ll tell you.
Jooeun : okay, i’ll keep that in mind.
Jooeun : i better get going. These groceries arent going to bring itself up.
Jooeun : It was nice meeting you Soojah and good to see you again Miss Minjung.
Miss Minjung : bye.
Soojah : bye bye.

I walked up to the apartment and went inside of the kitchen. Chanyeol came out of his room once he heard someone come into the apartment. I was going around the kitchen putting away the groceries and talking to Chanyeol.

Jooeun : hello.
Chanyeol : your back.
Jooeun : yeah.
Chanyeol (*asks) : did you buy the entire neighborhood ?
Jooeun : i had to pick up some materials for a banner i'm working on and some groceries.
Chanyeol : i had some stuff in the frig, you didn't have to buy anything.
Jooeun : i wanted to since i'm going to be cooking more often now that i have a kitchen.
Jooeun : i ran into Miss Minjung and Soojah while coming up here.
Jooeun : they told me something about you.
Chanyeol (*asks) : what did they tell you ?
Jooeun : they said no one rented the room here until i did and that was 3 years ago.
Chanyeol (*asks) : and what else did they say ?
Jooeun : they told me to ask you why.
Jooeun (*asks) : why is that Chanyeol ?
Chanyeol (*asks) : why are you curious for ?
Jooeun : i just want to know who i'm living with. I don't want to live with a psycho killer you know.
Chanyeol : i'm not a psycho killer Jooeun.
Jooeun (*asks) : then why ?
Chanyeol : the last person who lived here was my childhood best friend.
Chanyeol : she was out of town like you and came here to find her passion for a new start.
Chanyeol : but the day we promised each other to have dinner together that night, she was in an accident.
Chanyeol : she died on the spot.
Chanyeol : I thought i got stood up but i found out the truth the morning after about what happened to her.
Chanyeol : i was hurt and i went to her funeral. I lost my best friend forever.
Chanyeol : so i cleaned out the room with her stuff in it and left the room empty.
Jooeun (*asks) : it took you 3 years to get over the death of your best friend ?
Chanyeol : yes.
Jooeun (*asks) : so you never put the room up for rent up until now ? why ?
Chanyeol : i told myself that once i'm ready, i’ll put it back up for rent.
Jooeun : you lived alone since then but i thought you had another roommate before.
Chanyeol : not for the last 3 years.
Jooeun : i'm sorry Chanyeol for your loss.
Chanyeol : yeah, me too.
Jooeun (*asks) : anyways, you're not going to work today at the company ?
Chanyeol : i have practice later tonight.
Jooeun (*asks) : so you won't be here to eat dinner ?
Chanyeol : no. (*asks) what are you making ?
Jooeun : i was going to make some korean pancakes and kimchi.
Chanyeol : i won't be back until 2 in the morning.
Jooeun : alright. I’ll just leave some food in the refrigerator. You can eat it later.
Chanyeol : alright.

Chanyeol walked to his computer desk to continue on working on the beats from last night. At this time, I got a text message from my best friend Lily.

[Text Message]
Lily : Hey Jooeun.
Jooeun : Hey Lily.
Lily : I was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch with me right now.
Jooeun : sure.
Lily : our usual place.
Jooeun : okay, i’ll meet you there right now.
Lily : i’ll see you soon.

I put my phone in her purse and walked behind Chanyeol to tell him….

Jooeun : i'm going to have lunch with my best friend, Lily.
Jooeun : i’ll be back later.
Chanyeol : alright.
Jooeun : see you later.
Chanyeol : bye.
