[SATURDAY, 9:30AM] I finally woke up after 7 hours of a good sleep. I went to brush my teeth, shower, and got ready for my day. I wore blue skinny jeans, black and white striped loose t-shirt, a red checkered light scarf. Since Chanyeol wasn't awake yet, I took the time to go to Tori Bakery & Cafe Shop that was down the street to buy some coffee and bread. While doing that, I got the chance to explore more of the neighborhood and see where everything was. There were family owned stores, a fish and vegetable market, 4 convenience store in each corner of the block. Every place felt so fresh and the weather had been nice since yesterday. I made it to the nice bakery. It was quite busy on a Saturday morning. When I was walking around in the bakery, I could smell the freshly made bread which made me so happy. I loved the smell and how fresh it was. After walking around and picking out everything I wanted, I head for the cashier to pay. I gave the nice girl (Joo) who worked there the tray of bread I picked out. The girl ringed up my order and asks me…
Joo (*asks with a smile) : will this be all for you today ?
Jooeun : i would also like an iced americano and a caramel macchiato.
Joo (*asks) : what size ?
Jooeun : both medium size please.
Joo (*enters the orders in the tablet & says) : that’ll be $15.00 please.
I gave the girl exactly $15.00 from my wallet and Joo gave me my receipt along with the bag of bread I just purchased. I waited at one of the tables for the drinks and it came out right away after my number was called by Joo. Then I walked back to the apartment with the food. It was such a beautiful day in the neighborhood to be walking around.
As soon as i made it back to the apartment, i went into the kitchen to start cooking breakfast for Chanyeol and myself. I cooked Chanyeol’s breakfast first that was toast with strawberry jam on one side of the bread, the other spread with butter. I also cooked sunny side up eggs for him on the side of the plate. Then I poured some orange juice in a cup placed with his ice americano next to each other. I set the table with his food and went back into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I made myself some scrambled eggs with a piece of toast. After making it, I stood there in the kitchen eating it quickly before going onwards with my day.
While I was washing the dishes after eating my breakfast, Chanyeol came out of his room ready for his day. He walked over to the dining table where his food was and began to have some breakfast. After washing the dishes, I cleaned up the kitchen area and putting away the food I left out to cook.
My cellphone started to ring and I picked it up at the spot.
Jooeun (*answers her cellphone) : hello ?
Jin : Jooeun.
Jooeun : Jin.
Jin : i want the basketball team to have a small party for their achievement.
Jin : i was wondering if you could help me plan it.
Jooeun : of course i can.
Jooeun (*asks) : when do you want the party ?
Jin : Wednesday of next week.
Jooeun : that's really soon.
Jin : im sorry i didn't tell you earlier. The team was improving during practice.
Jooeun : no, it's okay. i can make it happen.
Jin : i’ll tell you further details when we meet on Monday at school.
Jooeun : okay.
Jin : thanks Jooeun.
Jooeun : no problem.
Jin : see you later.
Jooeun : bye.
I hanged up the phone and walked to my room to get my backpack. I went to the door and put on my shoes.
Chanyeol (*asks) : you're leaving already ?
Jooeun : yeah. I have to buy some things for a project and some groceries.
Chanyeol : alright.
Jooeun (*asks) : do you need anything from the market ?
Chanyeol : no, i bought what i wanted last night already.
Jooeun : okay then.
Jooeun : I’ll be back later.
Chanyeol : okay.
I left the apartment to go do some shopping around the neighborhood. First, I went to buy some butcher poster paper and some markers for the project banner. Second, I went to the outside market to buy some groceries. I bought some vegetables, variety of meats, rice, and sauces.
Joo (*asks with a smile) : will this be all for you today ?
