Couple days later, I spent time packing up my apartment with the help of my parents and Chaeyeon. We drove the moving truck to the new house at the Guang Village. After arriving at the house, i went inside to open up the house. Mom and dad were watching over Chaeyeon standing outside. When i went into the house, i saw a figure of a man (Chanyeol) standing there in front of the sofa. Then i question the random person in my new home…

Jooeun (*asks) : who are you ?

The man (Chanyeol) turns around and i was surprised to see Chanyeol standing there. I didn't know what to say so i just ran outside of the house terrified to talk to him again. He ran after me outside where my parents and Chaeyeon was. He talked and i listened.

Chanyeol : Jooeun. Please listen to me.

I nodded my head letting him know that i would listen to whatever he had to say. My parents were holding onto Chaeyeon so that she wouldn't run away.

Chanyeol : you once said that we should apologize to each other even though it's not our faults.
Chanyeol : i'm sorry Jooeun-ah.
Chanyeol : i should've been a better person in looking for you and knowing about Chaeyeon.
Chanyeol : i would've asked your Uncle if i could but i couldn't.
Chanyeol : i'm still in love with you Jooeun.
Chanyeol : please forgive me and let me come back into your life again.
Jooeun : we fell in love too fast Chanyeol.
Jooeun : i don't know if i can continue like this. I don't want Chaeyeon to grow up fatherless.
Jooeun : nevertheless not knowing who her birth father is.
Chanyeol : she knows me now.
Jooeun : i'm afraid of turning back like before.
Chanyeol : the only way to not do that is to start over and begin a new journey together as a family.
Jooeun (*asks) : and you're willing to sacrifice the media for us ?
Chanyeol : i'd do it again if i have to.

I stood there smiling at him when he comes towards me closer. He kissed my forehead then my lips. It felt like we fell in love all over again. I can tell from the corner of my eye that my parents were happy to see me happy with someone who truly loves me back. Then Chaeyeon runs towards us to hug along with my parents as well. My life was complete with the people around me. I love it and i want it to remain it like this. We moved into the house together and live like it was before except this time, we have my parents and Chaeyeon. I went from being a teacher and club coordinator to working at SM Entertainment as a department producer. I also use my free time to write short stories and turning them into short films. So you can say that my life is looking great right now. Sometimes, you gotta get out of your comfort zone and do things you've never imagined before. You have to speak up in life and let other people hear you out. You can't always be afraid of who you're facing. You have to always be confident in life. That's what makes it a better one. Let fate take you wherever it takes you. You may not know where it leads until you get there. This is my story, what's yours ?
