First Meeting.
The next day came [FRIDAY]. While the staff went on their lunch break, I took the time to see the apartment room myself. I took a taxi quickly to the address that was sent to me that morning. As I arrived at the apartment building, I took the elevator in the lobby up to the 7th floor. It was strange because the elevator only went up to the 7th floor. I was wondering what happened if I wanted to go beyond that floor number. Anyways, I got off of the 7th floor to the stairs passing 3 more floors to the 10th, where the location was. By the 10th floor, I was extremely tired from climbing the stairs. I didn't want to go up anymore. So I opened the doors that read 10th floor on top and went inside. As I was walking down the hallway looking for the apartment number, a sweet little adorable lady approached me. It looked like she lived there for a while now, yes she has. She was nice enough to stop me and talked to me before doing what she was doing.
Miss Minjung (*says as looking at Jooeun) : you can call me Miss Minjung.
Jooeun (*smiles & says) : it's nice to meet you. Im Ahn Jooeun.
Miss Minjung (*asks) : so what brings you here Jooeun ?
Jooeun : i'm looking at a new apartment room here.
Miss Minjung (*asks) : which apartment ?
Jooeun : apartment 1079.
Miss Minjung : oh, there's a sweet boy who lives there.
Jooeun : oh thats nice.
Miss Minjung : the apartment is down at the end of the hall on your left.
Jooeun : thank you.
Miss Minjung : your welcome.
Jooeun : it was really nice to meet you.
Miss Minjung : we’ll see each other around.
Miss Minjung walked back to her apartment as I was standing there looking back at her. Then i walked down the end of the hall towards the apartment. As i stood there in front of the door, i took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. I stood there all nervous and trying to calm myself down.
Chanyeol was at his desk making some beats in the living room on his computer. When he heard the doorbell rang, he went to see who it was. He looked on the door monitor and saw a pretty girl standing there. At this point, he knew it was Jooeun. Then he opened the door.
Jooeun (*smiles & says) : Hello. Im Ahn Jooeun. We talked on the phone last night.
Chanyeol : right. Please, come on in.
Chanyeol opened the door wide for me to come inside. I went in and left my shoes by the door like a normal person would, respectively. I stood by the couch just looking around at the spot. Chanyeol walked over to me and says...
Chanyeol (*asks) : would you like something to drink ?
Jooeun : no, i'm okay.
Chanyeol : please follow me to the kitchen table.
Jooeun : okay.
Chanyeol walked me to the kitchen table and we started to talk amongst ourselves.
Chanyeol : I'm Park Chanyeol, the owner of this two bedroom apartment.
Jooeun : it's nice to meet you.
Jooeun : you look very familiar. (*asks) have i seen you somewhere before ?
Chanyeol : i'm in a kpop group called EXO. that's why i seem so familiar to you.
Jooeun : right. I cant believe im in a superstar's home.
Chanyeol : we need to establish some ground rules if you are going to stay here.
Jooeun (*nods her head & says) : i understand.
Chanyeol : before you rent the room in this apartment, there are some things you need to know.
Jooeun (*asks) : what are they ?
Chanyeol : i show you around the apartment and your room first.
Chanyeol : then you have to sign a contract stating your existence here.
Chanyeol : afterwards, we need to state some ground rules around here.
Jooeun : i know how it works Chanyeol.
Chanyeol : i need to make sure of it, all of it.
Jooeun : i know.
Chanyeol : lets get started then.
Jooeun : yes.
There were so many things going through in my head as the process starts happening. Chanyeol showed me around the apartment to my room, kitchen area, bathrooms, dining area, and living room.
He was nice enough to take me to the first floor to where the laundry and mailroom was. After a while of touring the entire apartment complex, Chanyeol took me back to his apartment to proceed onto signing the contract.
Chanyeol (*asks) : so what do you think about the place ?
Jooeun : i think it's great. It's the perfect size for me.
Jooeun : i promise you that i will take care of this place like it's my actual house.
Chanyeol : of course, that's what you’ll be doing if you stay here.
Chanyeol (*asks) : so are you ready to sign yet ?
Jooeun (*smiles & says) : yes.
Miss Minjung (*says as looking at Jooeun) : you can call me Miss Minjung.
